Automated Vehicle Seats
Systems, methods, tangible non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices associated with the operation of a vehicle are provided. For example a vehicle computing system can receive occupancy data that includes information associated with occupancy of a vehicle that includes seats. One or more states of the vehicle can be determined. The states of the vehicle can include a disposition of any object that is within the vehicle. Further, a configuration of the seats in the vehicle can be determined based on the occupancy data and the states of the vehicle. The configuration can include a disposition of the seats inside the vehicle. Furthermore, at least one of the seats can be adjusted based on the configuration that was determined.
VEHICULAR SYSTEM CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING A PASSENGER COMPARTMENT FROM A CHILD SEAT ARRANGEMENT TO A SECOND ARRANGEMENT
A transportation system is disclosed. The transportation system includes a vehicle, a plurality of seating assemblies positioned within a passenger compartment of the vehicle and defining an arrangement, a plurality of actuators that effect movement of various components of the plurality of seating assemblies, a plurality of sensors, and a controller. Specific examples of pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements are disclosed, as well as the ability to customize the arrangement. Additionally, exemplary methods are disclosed that illustrate transitions between a variety of the pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements.
VEHICLE SEAT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method are disclosed herein. The system includes a user interface and a control unit. The user interface preferably includes a touchscreen and a fingerprint sensor. The control unit is in communication with a drive means attached to at least one seat in a vehicle. The system is configured to save seat positions/configurations for one or more users of a vehicle. In some embodiments, use of the system is limited to authorized users. As such, the system is configured to receive a password or a fingerprint scan from a user. Once authorized, the user selects which seat they would like to move, and the drive means in communication with the seat moves the seat to a saved seat position.
PRODUCT PROVISION DEVICE FOR VEHICLES AND CARGO SYSTEM
Disclosed is a product provision device for vehicles, the product provision device including at least one box to be inserted into and pulled out from at least a portion of a seat in the state in which a plurality of products is stored therein and at least one processor configured to provide a control signal such that at least one of the products is exposed in a cabin upon receiving a signal based on user input.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A VEHICLE SEAT DEVICE, VEHICLE SEAT DEVICE
A method for operating a vehicle seat device for motor vehicles, which has a vehicle seat with a seat part and a backrest, associated with the seat part, and at least one actuator which is associated with the seat part and/or the backrest and by means of which the vehicle seat can be brought automatically into a sitting position and into a reclining position, wherein the movement takes place as a function of a desired position that can be specified by a user and of at least one detectable vehicle seat state. It is provided that a current temperature is monitored as the vehicle seat state and that if the monitored temperature falls below a limit temperature, the vehicle seat is brought into a sitting position or left in a current sitting position regardless of the desired position.
INNENRAUMVERSTELLSYSTEM FÜR EIN FAHRZEUG
It is provided an interior adjustment system for a vehicle, comprising a first interior assembly which has a first adjustment device for adjusting the first interior assembly, at least one second interior assembly which has a second adjustment device for adjusting the at least one second interior assembly and a controller. The controller is designed to activate the second adjustment device in order to adjust the at least one second interior assembly as a function of an adjustment movement of the first interior assembly.
Vehicular system capable of adjusting a passenger compartment from a first arrangement to a child seat arrangement
Remote notification and adjustment of a passenger compartment arrangement
A transportation system includes a vehicle, a plurality of seating assemblies positioned within a passenger compartment of the vehicle and defining an arrangement, a plurality of actuators that effect movement of various components of the plurality of seating assemblies, a plurality of sensors, and a controller. Specific examples of pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements are provided, as well as the ability to customize the arrangement. Additionally, exemplary methods illustrate transitions between a variety of the pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements.
Occupant support with foldable headrest
An occupant support includes a seat bottom, a seat back, and a cam. The seat bottom includes a side frame member. The seat back includes a headrest configured to fold about a headrest fold axis. The side frame member is rotatably coupled to the seat back and configured to rotate relative to the seat back about a side frame rotation axis. The cam is coupled to the side frame member and coupled to the headrest such that rotation of the cam causes the headrest to rotate about the headrest fold axis. Rotation of the cam about the side frame rotation axis relative to the seat back causes the cam to pull a connecting member which causes the headrest to rotate about the headrest fold axis to a folded position. The rotation of the headrest about the headrest fold axis occurs during the occupant support folding movement.
