The at least one rail includes an attachment/detachment mechanism to allow attachment/detachment of the at least one attachment at a given position of the at least one rail.

The base rails include tracking slots extending longitudinally, and the tracking member includes tracking elements translatable forward and backward along the tracking slots, allowing an aircraft seat mounted to the tracking member to translate forward from a retracted configuration into an extended or berthing configuration (and backward to the retracted configuration). The tracking member includes a locking mechanism for locking the tracking member and seat in intermediate positions within the tracking slots. The tracking slots may be oriented slightly downward from the horizontal to allow for gravity-assisted tracking or to counteract the nose-up flight angles associated with cruising altitude, providing for easier seat tracking.

The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.

The methods include obtaining pressure values output by a plurality of sub-sensors; calculating a mean square value and an average value of the pressure values output by the sub-sensors; judging whether a ratio of the mean square value to the average value is greater than a preset value; obtaining pressure values output by a front pressure sensor, a rear pressure sensor, a left pressure sensor and a right pressure sensor when the ratio of the mean square value to the average value is greater than the preset value; adjusting fore-and-aft positions of the seat according to the pressure values output by the front pressure sensor and the rear pressure sensor; and adjusting lateral positions of the seat according to the pressure values output by the left pressure sensor and the right pressure sensor.
