COFFEE BEVERAGE COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PRODUCING IT
The present invention relates to coffee beverage compositions comprising soluble coffee solids and particles of roast coffee beans and with reduced formation of scum and a low content diterpenes. The invention further relates to methods of producing such coffee beverage compositions by removal of oil from a slurry of particles of roast coffee beans.
Nitrogen generator and uses thereof
A system and method to supply nitrogen gas is provided. Ambient air is compressed and stored in a storage receiver and then nitrogen is separated from the compressed air in a nitrogen membrane separation unit. The separated nitrogen is stored in a nitrogen storage tank under pressure and released through a pressure control valve. The system is confined to a small footprint and is useful as a nitrogen source where conventional compressed nitrogen tanks are a safety or space issue. Systems to prepare nitrogen infused beverages are also provided.
NUTRITIONAL ADDITIVE COMPOSITION
The invention herein contemplates a nutritional additive composition providing health benefits and improved dissolution, appearance, and taste when added to solid food and liquids.
COFFEE CONCENTRATE COMPOSITION
A concentrated coffee composition comprising the following components (A), (B) and (C); (A) chlorogenic acids, (B) total sugar, and (C) caffeine,
in which a mass ratio of the component (A) and the component (B), [(B)/(A)], is from 1.2 to 5, and a mass ratio of the component (A) and the component (C), [(C)/(A)], is 0.5 or less, and (F) Brix is 5% or more.
Liquid creamer composition comprising oleosomes as replacement for oil and method of using same
The present invention relates to a creamer composition, e.g. for use for addition into a coffee beverage, having good physical and chemical stability, in particular the invention relates to a liquid creamer composition including protein, oleosomes and optionally oil. The invention also relates to a beverage composition including the liquid creamer composition, and a method of making it.
Liquid espresso concentrate
Shown is a method of making a coffee concentrate, and a coffee concentrate obtainable by the method. The method involves primary and secondary extraction, with split tapping of the primary extract into a first and second primary draw off. The extraction is conducted under such conditions as to satisfy a minimum mass transfer Fourier number, and a minimum ratio of the extraction yield of the first primary draw-off to the extraction yield obtained in all extraction sections.
STABLE READY-TO-DRINK BEVERAGE COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING LIPOPHILIC ACTIVE AGENTS
Aspects described herein relate to improved beverage compositions with lipophilic active agents and related methods. More particularly, aspects described herein relate to stable ready-to-drink beverage compositions comprising lipophilic active agents, methods of making such compositions, and methods of use.
Systems to nitrogen-infuse and dispense beverages
In a device for infusing a gas from a gas source into a liquid beverage, a beverage container defines an interior for holding the liquid beverage therein. A venturi mixing device has a liquid inlet port in fluid communication with the beverage container, a gas inlet port in fluid communication with the gas source and a discharge port. The venturi mixing device is configured to infuse the gas received from the gas source into liquid beverage received from the beverage container. A faucet is in fluid communication with the discharge port of the venturi mixing device and is configured to dispense the liquid beverage infused with the gas.
A Beverage
A method of producing a beverage concentrate comprising contacting a plant material and/or plant extract with hot water to produce a beverage, wherein the concentration of the plant material and/or plant extract in the hot water is at least 100 grams per litre. The method further comprises filtering the beverage to produce a filtrate, and producing a microbiologically stable beverage concentrate from the beverage or the beverage filtrate.
SYSTEMS FOR CONTROLLED LIQUID FOOD OR BEVERAGE PRODUCT CREATION
Systems for and methods of controlled liquid food or beverage product creation are provided. A method of producing a liquid product from a receptacle containing frozen liquid contents includes receiving the receptacle containing a frozen liquid contents in a dispenser, identifying a characteristic of the receptacle, the contents, and/or a desired product, melting at least a portion of the contents to generate the product by selectively heating the receptacle and/or the contents without adding liquid to the interior of the receptacle and/or supplying a liquid to the interior of the receptacle, wherein the selectively heating without adding liquid to the interior of the receptacle and/or suppling the liquid is based on the identified characteristic. The method also includes perforating the receptacle and dispensing the product from the receptacle.
