VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion frame, a slide mechanism, a drive source, and a transmission mechanism configured to receive a driving force from the drive source and to cause the seat cushion frame to move in a front-rear direction. The slide mechanism includes a guide member extending in the front-rear direction and a slide member movable along the guide member relative to the guide member; the seat cushion frame is fixed to one of the guide member and the slide member, and another of the guide member and the slide member is fixed to a floor of a vehicle; and the drive source is fixed to the floor of the vehicle.
Vehicle seat slide mechanism
A vehicle seat slide mechanism via which a seat assembly is slidably mounted on a vehicle floor is provided with: a lower rail that is mounted on the vehicle floor; an upper rail which is slidably attached on the lower rail and on which the seat assembly is attached; a lock mechanism that locks the upper rail on the lower rail in a releasable manner; and a gap reduction member that is provided between a first face formed at the lower rail and facing in a substantially vertical direction and a second face formed at the upper rail and facing to the first face.
LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTER FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A longitudinal adjuster (3), for a vehicle seat (1), includes a lower rail (9), an upper rail (11), moveable in relation to the lower rail (9) in a longitudinal direction (x), and a locking unit (13) for locking the upper rail (11) to the lower rail (9). The locking unit (13) includes two locking elements (VR), which, in order to lock the upper rail (11) and the lower rail (9), engage in the upper rail and the lower rail in a blocking manner in steps such that one of the locking elements (VR) pre-locks the upper rail (11) and the lower rail (9) with play in a pre-locking step and one of the locking elements (VR) locks the upper rail (11) and the lower rail (9) without play in a locking step. A vehicle seat (1) including such a longitudinal adjuster (3) is provided.
SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY
A seat track assembly including a first rail configured to move along a second rail. The assembly may include a roller cage disposed at least partially between the first rail and the second rail. In embodiments, the assembly includes a stopper that projects from an inner surface of the second rail and is configured to restrict movement of the roller cage while the movement of the first rail relative to the second rail is independent of the stopper.
ELECTRIC MOTOR ASSEMBLY FOR A SEAT LOCKING MECHANISM
A seat locking mechanism comprises a plurality of positional brake mechanisms including a longitudinal brake assembly, a lateral brake assembly, and a rotational brake assembly; and an electric motor assembly operably connected to each of the plurality of positional brake mechanisms. The electric motor assembly comprises: a drive motor; a clutch system located between the drive motor and the plurality of positional brake mechanisms; and a solenoid operably connected to the clutch system. The solenoid in operation engages the clutch system to operably connect the electric motor to the plurality of positional brake mechanisms when the electric motor assembly is activated and disengages the clutch system to operably disconnect the electric motor to the plurality of positional brake mechanisms when the electric motor assembly is deactivated. The electric motor assembly in operation moves the plurality of positional brake mechanisms to at least one of a locked position and unlocked position.
SEAT CUSHION ADJUSTER, SEAT, AND ADJUSTMENT METHOD OF SEAT
A seat cushion adjuster in one aspect of the present disclosure comprises at least one bracket, at least one slider, at least one first interposing member, and at least one second interposing member. The slider is inserted into an inner hollow portion of the bracket. The slider comprises a base plate part of a plate shape and a pair of raised parts. The pair of raised parts is raised from a pair of ends of the base plate part so as to be raised with respect to one surface of the base plate part. The first interposing member is disposed between an inner wall of the bracket and the slider. The second interposing member is disposed between the inner wall of the bracket and the slider so as to face the first interposing member.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat compactly stowed in a stowed state while suppressing contact between pivot links. A stowable seat includes an inner link, an outer link, and a guide link coupled to a seat cushion of the seat, the links are pivoted with respect to a vehicle body floor in order to move the seat cushion to a stowed position. The inner link, the outer link, and the guide link are arranged at positions different from each other in the width direction of the seat so that contact between the pivot links is suppressed. Further, the guide link is arranged at a position different from the inner link and the outer link in the front to back direction of the seat so that the seat can be compactly stowed.
Network of rails for a vehicle
A network of rails for a vehicle includes a lateral rail that extends primarily along a lateral axis of the vehicle, a longitudinal rail that extends primarily along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and a circular rail that interacts with at least one of the lateral rail and the longitudinal rail.
Seat sliding device for vehicles
A seat sliding device for vehicles includes lower and upper rails and a locking member for locking or unlocking the upper rail relative to the lower rail. The upper rail is equipped at a lower end of its downward side wall portion with a lower inward corner portion formed of a raised wall portion and a bottom wall portion. The locking member has an axial portion that is placed on and biased against the lower inward corner portion of the upper rail such that the locking member is swingable about an axis of the axial portion to lock or unlock the upper rail relative to the lower rail. This seat sliding device makes it possible to reduce the number of parts and improve operation stability of the locking member.
