Moveable floor supported airbag
A vehicle includes a floor and a seat supported by the floor. The seat is translatable relative to the floor along a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. An airbag housing is supported by the floor and is disposed alongside the seat. The airbag housing is translatable relative to the floor along the longitudinal axis. An airbag is supported by the airbag housing. The airbag is inflatable to an inflated position that extends from the airbag housing away from the floor.
Seating system for vehicles
A seating system is provided which comprises a seat movable between a standard seating position, in which the seat faces frontwards and the seat backrest is in an upright position for conventional driving mode, and at least one non-standard seating position in which the seat is rotated around a vertical axis with respect to the standard seating position and the backrest is reclined rearwards by rotation around a first transverse horizontal axis from the standard seating position. The seat is equipped with at least one passive safety device switchable between a working or active state, in which the device is able to protect an occupant of the seat in case of an impact of the vehicle, and a non-working or inactive state.

A vehicle seat is rotatable about an axis perpendicular to a vehicle floor from a forward-facing position to a rear-facing position. The seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back. A seat belt assembly extends at least partially from the seat back. At least one airbag is incorporated into the seat belt assembly and is deployable when the vehicle seat is rotated to at least one of the rear-facing position and a position between the forward-facing position and the rear-facing position.

A method of moving a vehicle seat between a forward-facing orientation and a rear-facing orientation includes the steps of: translating the vehicle seat within the vehicle along a track, the track extending in a direction having a component in a lengthwise direction of the vehicle and in a width-wise direction of the vehicle; and rotating the vehicle seat relative to the track.

A seat support structure for a working vehicle comprises a fixed plate, a parallel link mechanism, a supporting plate, a rotation shaft, a rotation plate, a seat, a rear upper shaft, and a rotation lock unit. The fixed plate is fixed on a vehicle body of the vehicle. The parallel link mechanism includes a front link and a rear link. The supporting plate is connected to the fixed plate via the parallel link mechanism. The rotation shaft is fixed on a center portion of the supporting plate. The rotation plate is rotatably supported on the rotation shaft. The seat is attached to the rotation plate. The rear upper shaft connects the rear link to the supporting plate. The rotation lock unit is provided on the rear upper shaft.
Vehicle airbag including hub and segments extending radially from the hub
An airbag for a vehicle includes a hub, a first segment, a second segment, and a third segment. The first segment extends radially from the hub in a first direction. The second segment extends radially from the hub in a second direction different from the first direction. The third segment extends radially from the hub in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction. When inflated in response to a sensed impact of the vehicle, the first segment, the second segment, and the third segment may extend from the hub between occupants of the vehicle to separate the occupants during the impact of the vehicle.
INFLATABLE CUSHION DISPOSED BETWEEN FRONT AND REAR SEATS OF A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a floor, a rear seat, and a front seat rotatable relative to the rear seat from a first position facing the rear seat to a second position facing away from the rear seat. An inflatable cushion is supported by the floor and is disposed between the front seat and the rear seat. A pressure control device is in communication with the inflatable cushion. The inflatable cushion may be used by an occupant of the vehicle as a footrest and/or a bed.
Seat device and vehicle
A vehicle seat device includes a seat cushion having a cushion front side and cushion rear side both running in the transverse direction of the seat device. The device also includes a seat back having two backrest edge sides opposite each other and each running in the transverse direction of the seat device. The seat back is arrangeable on the cushion front and rear sides of the seat cushion in order to change a seat direction. The seat back is mounted so as to be rotatable by at least 180° around a transverse axis in order to change the seat direction. At least one headrest unit is arranged on the seat back in a displaceable manner in such a way that it can be displaced beyond the backrest edge side facing away from the seat cushion in each case and can be displaced back under this backrest edge side.
DOWNWARDLY INFLATABLE VEHICLE AIRBAG
A vehicle interior includes a roof, a seat including a seatback, and an airbag supported by the roof. The airbag is inflatable away from the roof to an inflated position surrounding the seatback. During an impact of the vehicle, the airbag may be inflated from an uninflated position to the inflated position to absorb energy from an occupant of the vehicle.
VEHICLE SEAT APPARATUS
A vehicle seat apparatus is configured to be mounted on a vehicle capable of traveling on a road. The vehicle seat apparatus includes a seat, an automatic driving unit, a seat drive, and a controller. The automatic driving unit performs automatic driving of the vehicle. The seat drive is configured to drive the seat to transition a position and attitude of the seat between a first mode and a second mode. The controller gives to the seat drive an instruction to transition the position and attitude of the seat from the first mode to the second mode when the controller recognizes that the vehicle travels in a particular section of the road, on a condition that the automatic driving unit performs the automatic driving.
