A vehicle seat device includes a seat cushion having a cushion front side and cushion rear side both running in the transverse direction of the seat device. The device also includes a seat back having two backrest edge sides opposite each other and each running in the transverse direction of the seat device. The seat back is arrangeable on the cushion front and rear sides of the seat cushion in order to change a seat direction. The seat back is mounted so as to be rotatable by at least 180° around a transverse axis in order to change the seat direction. At least one headrest unit is arranged on the seat back in a displaceable manner in such a way that it can be displaced beyond the backrest edge side facing away from the seat cushion in each case and can be displaced back under this backrest edge side.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a seat framework configured including a first frame and a second frame that are capable of supporting an occupant, and a link including a first swing shaft via which the first frame is coupled to one end side of the link and a second swing shaft via which the second frame is coupled to another end side of the link; a first cover that is attached to a back face of the first frame on an opposite side from a front face configured to support the occupant, that covers a back face side of the first frame; and a second cover that is attached to a back face of the second frame on an opposite side from a front face configured to support the occupant, that covers a back face side of the second frame.

Vehicle seating assembly

A vehicle seating assembly is provided that includes a platform. The platform includes a frame having an attachment feature. A seat base is coupled with the attachment feature. A cross-member is coupled to the frame and movable between extended and retracted positions. The seating assembly also includes a track assembly including a plurality of tracks received by guides. The platform extends between each of the plurality of tracks.

Pivoting seat assembly

A seat assembly includes a base frame supporting a lift mechanism. A seatback is operably coupled to a seat portion. The seatback and the seat portion are vertically adjustable as powered by the lift mechanism. The seat portion is pivotally coupled to the seatback by a support bracket for rotational movement between first and second positions. A seat frame of the seat portion is vertically juxtaposed over the lift mechanism when the seat portion is in the second position.

Pivoting seat assembly

A seat assembly includes a mounting plate and a base frame rotatable mounted on the mounting plate by a swivel mechanism for swiveling the seat assembly between forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations. A seat portion is operably coupled to the base frame and includes a front edge. The seat portion can be pivoted between use and upright non-use positions. The seat assembly includes a first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the use position and a second rotational footprint that is less than the first rotational footprint when the seat portion is in the upright non-use position. The second rotational footprint is intended to accommodate swiveling of the seat assembly between the forward-facing and rearward-facing configurations within a vehicle interior.

Vehicular system capable of adjusting a passenger compartment from a child seat arrangement to a second arrangement

A transportation system is disclosed. The transportation system includes a vehicle, a plurality of seating assemblies positioned within a passenger compartment of the vehicle and defining an arrangement, a plurality of actuators that effect movement of various components of the plurality of seating assemblies, a plurality of sensors, and a controller. Specific examples of pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements are disclosed, as well as the ability to customize the arrangement. Additionally, exemplary methods are disclosed that illustrate transitions between a variety of the pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements.

SEAT SWIVEL ASSEMBLY WITH LOCKING PIN

A swivel assembly is provided for moving a vehicle seat in an angular direction. The swivel assembly may include a lower plate, a rotating plate, a gear ring, a motor, and a locking pin assembly. The lower plate may be attached to a vehicle floor. The rotating plate may be attached to the vehicle seat. The gear ring may be fixedly attached to the rotating plate. The motor may be coupled to the gear ring and drive the gear ring to move in the angular direction to cause corresponding movement of the rotating plate and the vehicle seat. The locking pin assembly may include a locking pin that is movable relative to the lower plate between an unlocked position and a locked position. The locking pin may move into and out of engagement with the rotating plate to selectively restrict and allow movement of the rotating plate.
