Vehicle Seat
A vehicle seat (1) is provided with a cushion frame (5) that can be moved up and down by means of a link mechanism (6). To assist the upward movement of the cushion frame (5), a torsion bar (14) is disposed in a connection pipe (12) having both ends secured to a pair of left and right rear links (11, 11). A position holding member (24) holds the torsion bar (14) and is supported by the connection pipe (12), whereby the positional shift of the axis of the torsion bar (14) is suppressed. The position holding member (24) engages an extension portion (16) extending perpendicular to the shaft portion (15), and thus, does not rotate around the axis relative to the torsion bar (14). Therefore, in the position holding member (24), portions requiring reinforcement against a transverse force from the torsion bar (14) are limited a narrow range, and the position holding member (24) can be reduced in size and weight.
Low Profile Adjustable Vehicle Seat Mount Assembly
A vehicle seat mounting system includes a seat mount plate and a vehicle mount plate. A vertically operable scissor linkage assembly is disposed between the seat mount plate and the vehicle mount plate and is oriented such that respective opposing ends of a first scissor arm and a second scissor arm are each secured to a respective one of the seat mount plate and the vehicle mount plate. A spring assembly is disposed between the seat mount plate and the vehicle mount plate and is oriented to cooperate with the scissor linkage assembly to resist translation between the vehicle mount plate and the seat mount plate. An adjuster assembly cooperates with the spring assembly and is operable to manipulate the proportion of the spring assembly that is available to be engaged to resist motion of the mounting system.
Support and cushion for a vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes right and left side frames 10, and an elastic member (cushion spring 20) run between the right and left side frames 10. The right and left side frames 10 include side walls 11 disposed opposite to each other in a lateral direction, and flange portions (upper flange portions 12) respectively extending laterally inward from the side walls 11, and the elastic member is attached to the flange portions.

VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a lifter device lifting/lowering a seat cushion. The lifter device includes a link member coupling a side frame and a riser to each other, and a clinching pin coupling the riser or the side frame and the link member to each other. The clinching pin includes a first portion located on the opposite side of the link member from the riser, a second portion located in a position corresponding to a hole of the link member, a third portion located in a position corresponding to a hole of the riser, and a fourth portion that is located on the opposite side of the riser from the link member. A surface of the second portion facing the riser has a portion adjacent to the third portion, and the portion is away from a surface of the riser facing the second portion.
Vehicle seat
A torsion bar configured to assist height adjustment of a seat cushion frame is housed in a hollow coupling pipe positioned between side frames. The inside of the coupling pipe has first and second engagement portions configured to engage and hold one end portion of the torsion bar in an extension direction thereof. The first engagement portion is engaged with a first engaged portion of the one end portion. The second engagement portion is engaged with a second engaged portion of the one end portion in the same position as a position of engagement between the first engagement portion and the first engaged portion in the seat width direction or in a position on the inner side from the position of engagement in the seat width direction, the second engaged portion being positioned closer to one end of a biasing member in the extension direction than the first engaged portion.
Vehicle seat with pad having a through-opening for harness
A vehicle seat includes right and left side frames 10, and an elastic member (cushion spring 20) run between the right and left side frames 10. The right and left side frames 10 include side walls 11 disposed opposite to each other in a lateral direction, and flange portions (upper flange portions 12) respectively extending laterally inward from the side walls 11, and the elastic member is attached to the flange portions.
Vehicle seat having an adjusting device
A vehicle seat (1) has an adjusting device (40) for adjusting a relative position between a first component (24) and a second component (30) of the vehicle seat (1). The adjusting device (40) has a locking device (50) for locking the adjusting device (40) by a friction fit between a brake ring (60) and at least one brake element (70) of the adjusting device (40). The brake ring (60) is directly connected to the first component (24) or directly connected to the second component (30).
VEHICLE SEAT
Provided is a vehicle seat that facilitates setting of a starting load of a movable member. The vehicle seat includes a movable mechanism including: first and second springs coupled to a frame; a movable member displaceable relative to the frame; a first passive member and a second passive member coupled with the respective first and second springs; and a restriction member configured to restrict displacement of the first and second passive members. The movable member displaces the first passive member in a first direction when the movable member is displaced in the first direction, and displaces the second passive member in a second direction when the movable member is displaced in the second direction. The restriction member restricts displacement of the first passive member from a first-passive-member initial position in the second direction and displacement of the second passive member from a second-passive-member initial position in the first direction.
