The reinforcement member may be fixed to the handle-travel-limiter and the handle pin.

An annular drive element (18) is rotatably mounted about the backrest rotational axis (A). The drive element has a latch (24) that is caught by a driver (26), arranged on the backrest (3), when the backrest (3) is pivoted into the easy-entry position, whereby the backrest can subsequently be carried along. An actuation lever (22) acts on the latch (24) such that the latch (24) is not caught by the driver (26) when the backrest (3) is pivoted, and the backrest can be pivoted beyond the easy-entry position.
