Release mechanism for seat recliner assembly
A seatback adjustment assembly may include a recliner heart, an attachment plate, and a lever. The recliner heart is operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seatback and a seat bottom and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The attachment plate is rotationally fixed to the recliner heart. The lever is rotatable between a first state in which the lever is engaged with the attachment plate and a second state in which the lever is disengaged from the attachment plate. When lever is in the first state and the recliner heart is in the unlocked state, rotation of the recliner heart causes corresponding rotation of the seatback relative to the seat bottom. However, the seatback is configured to rotate relative to the seat bottom without causing corresponding rotation of the recliner heart when the lever is in the second state.
Vehicle seat comprising fitting arrangement and locking device
A vehicle seat, including a seat underframe and a backrest mounted pivotably with respect to the seat underframe about a backrest pivot axis, the inclination of which backrest may be adjusted in a comfort range by pivoting about the backrest pivot axis by a fitting arrangement. The fitting arrangement is provided on a first of two longitudinal backrest sides of the backrest and a locking device is provided remote from the first longitudinal backrest side, which locking device is provided to lock the backrest so as to prevent pivoting about the backrest pivot axis beyond the comfort region in the event of a crash and which is coupled to the fitting arrangement to actuate the locking device when the backrest is actuated beyond the comfort region and to release a locking provided by the locking device by actuating the fitting arrangement.
Seat reclining device for vehicle
A seat reclining device includes a ratchet and a guide assembled to be rotatable relative to each other, a pawl capable of restricting relative rotation between the ratchet and the guide, and a rotation cam that pushes and moves the pawl. The pawl has an eccentric structure in which the pawl is pressed and inclined to one side in the rotation direction due to a pressing force received from the rotation cam, and has a first protrusion that restricts the inclination of the pawl by contact with a guide wall that the first protrusion faces.
Power recliner
The present disclosure provides a power recliner including a seatback having an angle that is adjusted when an external gear coupled to an accommodation groove of an internal gear is eccentrically rotated as wedges are operated, in which a support groove having a level difference is formed in the accommodation groove of the internal gear and maintains a predetermined radius based on a burring part, in which the wedges are installed and inserted into the support groove so as to be moved along the support groove, and in which when a load is applied to a seatback, the wedges are dually in contact with a cam and an inner stepped surface of the support groove or dually in contact with the burring part of the internal gear and the inner stepped surface of the support groove to disperse the load, thereby improving maximum strength of the recliner.
SEAT FRAME
A seat frame includes a cushion frame, a back frame, a recliner plate, a bracket arranged to be in contact with a side surface of each cushion side frame, a nut, an end nut, a bolt, and an end bolt. The bracket includes a nut fixing portion and a pipe fixing portion. The bolt is fixed to the nut in a state of being inserted through a bolt hole and a bolt insertion hole. The end bolt is fixed to the end nut in a state of being inserted through an end bolt hole.
DETENT FITTING FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A detent fitting for use in a vehicle seat including a first fitting part and a second fitting part rotatable relative to each other about an axis of rotation, four locking elements movably mounted relative to the first fitting part, configured to move to a locking position in engagement with a toothing of the second fitting part, and a cam element rotatably mounted relative to the first fitting part and including a plurality of cams for supporting the locking elements in the locking position, so that each of the locking elements contacts an associated cam at a support point. Two of the support points are arranged closer to each other than the other support points.
Occupant support
An occupant support includes a seat bottom and a seat back coupled to the seat bottom and arranged to extend upwardly away from the seat bottom in a normal-seating configuration. The seat back is pivotable relative to the seat bottom between a plurality of positions. The seat back may be changed from an upright position to a folded-forward position.
