RECLINER
A recliner according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a plate-shaped ratchet, at least one pawl, a plate-shaped guide member, and a ratchet seating portion. The ratchet seating portion is provided on the guide member to be positioned on an inner peripheral side of a second flange and between two guide walls adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction on the guide member. The ratchet seating portion protrudes toward the first flange of the ratchet and is configured to come into sliding contact with a tip of the first flange.
Recliner heart for seat assembly
A recliner heart includes a housing member, a locking plate and a pawl. The housing member includes a plate surface having a first recess and a second recess. The locking plate includes a surface having teeth formed thereon. The pawl is movable in the first recess between a secure position in which the pawl is engaged with the teeth of the locking plate and a release position in which the pawl is disengaged from the teeth of the locking plate. The pawl includes a boss slidably received in the second recess. A first lateral side of the boss abuts against a sidewall of the second recess upon an impact event.
Seat adjuster
A seat adjuster includes an adjustable slider, a cam lever, and/or a pivot arm. The cam lever may be rotatably connected to the slider at or about a cam-slider axis such that the cam lever pivots about the cam-slider axis when the slider is adjusted. The pivot arm may have a first arm end and a second arm end disposed opposite one another. The first arm end may be rotatably connected to the cam lever at or about a cam-arm axis such that, when the slider is adjusted, (i) the cam lever pivots about the cam-arm axis and (ii) the pivot arm pivots about an arm-housing axis extending through the second arm end.
Locking Assembly for Recliner
A locking mechanism includes a housing, a cam disposed within the housing, and a plurality of pawls disposed within the housing. The housing includes a first plate and a second plate. The second plate includes a peripheral lip having an interior face that defines a plurality of teeth. Each of the plurality of pawls defines a central axis. Each of the plurality of pawls includes a plurality of pawl teeth. The plurality of pawl teeth include a first middle tooth positioned on a first side of the central axis and a second middle tooth positioned on an opposing second side of the central axis. The first middle tooth has a first flat face facing the central axis and a first curved face facing away from the central axis. The second middle tooth has a second flat face facing the central axis and a second curved face facing away from the central axis.
Seat recliner for vehicle
A seat recliner for a vehicle includes an insert part supporting a control part and coupled to an input member, thereby having improved assembly performance. The seat recliner further includes: a first flange on which a lock cam and lock gears are disposed, where the control part is disposed on upper parts of the lock gears and the lock cam; a second flange covering the control part and provided with a through hole; the input member penetrating through the first flange, the lock cam, the control part, and the second flange in order In particular, the insert part is inserted in the through hole and includes an inside surface, an outside surface, and a supporter.
Seat recliner assembly with hollow cross member
A seat recliner assembly for a vehicle may include first and second recliner hearts, a hand lever, and a cross member. The first recliner heart may be mounted to a bracket. The second recliner heart may be mounted to another bracket. The hand lever may be mounted to the first recliner heart and may be rotatable relative to the brackets to move the first recliner heart between a locked state and an unlocked state. The cross member may be connected to the first and second recliner hearts and may transmit torque from the hand lever to the second recliner mechanism to move the second recliner heart with the first recliner heart between the locked and unlocked states. The cross member may include an aperture extending through an entire longitudinal length of the cross member.
RECLINER SHAFT FOR VEHICLE SEAT
A recliner shaft includes first parts which are spaced apart from each other and form portions of a cylindrical shape, and second parts connecting the first parts and formed so as to form protrusions by protruding outward from the cylindrical shape. The second parts include a first spline protrusion and a second spline protrusion which have the same shape, and are disposed to be symmetrical with respect to a virtual straight line passing through a center of the cylindrical shape.
RELEASE MECHANISM
A release mechanism generates a force on a cable to operate an adjustment mechanism or the like in a seat or other device. The release mechanism includes a rotor, a housing, a spring, and a cover that attaches to the housing. The spring generates a torque, and the spring also axially biases the rotor into engagement with the cover to prevent rattling.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes: a fixed frame; a tower frame arranged at a position offset from the fixed frame toward a first side along a seat-width direction; a recliner arranged between the tower frame and the fixed frame; a tilt restriction mechanism arranged opposite to the recliner relative to the fixed frame; and an abutting member arranged on a same side as the tilt restriction mechanism relative to the fixed frame.
Recliner Mechanism For Seat Assembly And Method Of Manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a recliner mechanism may include movably attaching a first plate of a recliner heart to a second plate of the recliner heart, positioning a gap ring onto the first plate of the recliner heart, positioning an encapsulation ring around the first and second plates such that the gap ring is disposed axially between the first plate and the encapsulation ring, and removing at least a portion of the gap ring from between the first plate and the encapsulation ring to form a clearance gap between the first plate and the encapsulation ring.
