Child restraint with cupholder
According to the present disclosure, a child restraint includes a juvenile seat having a seat bottom and a seat back extending upwardly from the seat bottom. The juvenile seat further includes a cupholder coupled to the seat bottom.
CAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
A car seat assembly includes a base that may be positioned on a seat in a vehicle. A car seat is rotatably coupled to the base and a child may be seated therein. The car seat has a chair and a backrest and the child sits in the chair. The chair is selectively rotated in a first position such that the chair is oriented collinear with the seat in the vehicle. The chair is selectively rotated into a second position such that the chair is oriented orthogonally with respect to the seat in the vehicle to facilitate an adult to access the child.
Child seat monitoring system and method
Embodiments include a vehicle comprising a user interface, a first sensor coupled to a child seat for detecting a child seat belt status; a gear selector for selecting a vehicle gear, and a processor communicatively coupled to the first sensor and the gear selector, and configured to cause the user interface to present a first notification if a first alarm condition is detected based on the child seat belt status and a selected gear. Embodiments also include a method of providing child seat monitoring in a vehicle, the method comprising receiving a gear position from a vehicle gear selector, receiving a child seat belt status from a first sensor coupled to a vehicle child seat, and presenting a first notification using a vehicle user interface if the gear position is a non-park position and the child seat belt status is unbuckled.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat back having a routing opening, a seat bottom connected to the seat back for cooperatively providing a seating space with the seat back, a bridge plate having a slot portion and a bending portion, and a safety harness having a shoulder strap and a central adjusting strap. The shoulder strap has two shoulder strap portions slidably routed from a front side of the seat back to a rear side of the seat back through the routing opening. Two rear ends of the two shoulder strap portions located at the rear side of the seat back are permanently coupled to each other through the slot portion. The central adjusting strap is slidably routed to the rear side of the seat back through the seat bottom to be detachably attached to the bending portion for adjusting tightness of the safety harness.
STOWABLE CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle safety system includes a vehicle seat and a child restraint system integrated with the vehicle seat. The child restraint system includes an illuminated status indicator system. The child restraint system includes an occupant detection system. The child restraint system includes one or more position sensors configured to determine seat bottom position. The child restraint includes a harness system. The harness system is stored behind a door panel in a seat back of the vehicle seat. The harness system includes one or more load sensors. The load sensors work in combination with a motor to automatically adjust harness fit. The child restraint system is configured to automatically deploy. The child restraint system is configured to automatically stow. The vehicle safety system includes an input/output (I/O) device configured to facilitate interactions with the child restraint system.
Safety belt connecting structure and child safety seat
A safety belt connecting structure includes first and second shoulder belts, and an adjusting belt. The first and second shoulder belts have corresponding first and second shoulder belt coupling ends and first and second shoulder belt connecting end, and the first shoulder belt engaging end is coupled to a facility where the safety belt connecting structure is installed. The second shoulder belt coupling end is coupled to the facility. The adjusting belt has an adjusting belt connecting end and an adjusting belt adjusting end. The adjusting belt connecting end is connected with the first and second shoulder belt connecting ends, and the adjusting belt adjusting end is adjustably fixed with a positioning portion on the facility, so that an acting length of the safety belt connecting structure with respect to the facility is adjustable by adjusting a position of the adjusting belt with respect to the positioning portion.
LOAD LEG AND CHILD SAFETY SEAT ASSEMBLY THEREWITH
A load leg adapted for a child safety seat includes a first telescoping member, a second telescoping member, a third telescoping member, a first engaging assembly, a second engaging assembly, and an operating member. The first engaging assembly is movably disposed on the first telescoping member for engaging with or disengaging from the second telescoping member. The second engaging assembly is movably disposed on the second telescoping member for engaging with or disengaging from the third telescoping member. The operating member is for driving the first engaging assembly and the second engaging assembly simultaneously to allow relative sliding movement of the first telescoping member and the second telescoping member and relative sliding movement of the second telescoping member and the third telescoping member at the same time, which provides a convenient way to extend the load leg between the child safety seat and a floor of a vehicle.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat body, a headrest, a headrest adjusting mechanism, and a harness component. A seat space is defined on the seat body. The headrest is movably disposed on a front side of the seat body facing the seat space. The headrest adjusting mechanism is for allowing the headrest to move relative to the seat body or restraining the headrest from moving relative to the seat body. The harness component includes a first part and a second part. The first part at least partially is received between the headrest adjusting mechanism and the seat body. The second part is connected to the first part and exposed out of the headrest toward the seat space.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a child seat for receiving a child, and a support base for supporting the child seat, the child seat being detachably installable on the support base. The support base includes a shell body having an end and a bottom surface, and an extension part disposed adjacent to the end of the shell body and having a foremost end surface. The child safety seat is positionable on a vehicle seat with the foremost end surface in contact with a seatback of the vehicle seat, the extension part being movable relative to the shell body substantially parallel to the bottom surface between a first and a second position, the foremost end surface being adjacent to the end of the shell body in the first position and deployed away from the end of the shell body in the second position.
SUPPORT BASE FOR A CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A support base for a child safety seat includes a shell adapted to receive a child seat, the shell including a belt anchoring region, and a belt anchoring system connected with the shell, the belt anchoring system being operable to anchor a first belt portion and a second belt portion to the shell respectively at two spaced-apart middle locations in the belt anchoring region.
