TETHER ASSEMBLY, AND CHILD SAFETY SEAT AND SUPPORT STRUCTURE THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a child safety seat, which is for being installed on a vehicle seat. The child safety seat includes a base having an anchor part connected to the vehicle seat; a seat coupled to the base; a top rod fixed to the rear of the base; a tether assembly including a top tether and a tether fixing portion that are connected with each other, the top tether being connected with the top rod and the tether fixing portion being connected with the vehicle seat; and an alarm device including a switch which can be triggered when the top tether is tightened. The present disclosure also discloses a tether assembly and a support structure. The child safety seat can conveniently prompt that it is not correctly fixed, and can be conveniently fixed and adjusted, thereby improving the safety and riding comfort of the child safety seat.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a first and a second restraining device, and an alert device and a first and a second switch serially connected in a series circuit. Each of the first and second restraining device is deployable to engage with a corresponding structure provided in a vehicle, each of the first and second restraining devices being operable independently and having an idle position and a deployed position. The first and second switches are respectively coupled operatively to the first and second restraining device, and are respectively closed when the first restraining device is in the deployed position and the second restraining device in the idle position. The alert device is thereby activable to emit an alert signal when the first restraining device is in the deployed position and the second restraining device in the idle position.
Side impact protection linkage mechanism and safety seat base
A side impact protection linkage mechanism (100) includes a side impact protection block (10). The side impact protection block (10) is pivotally connected to a side wall (20) of a safety seat base (200) and has a folded position attached to the side wall (20) and an expanded position away from the side wall (20). A support frame (11) is disposed in the side wall (20). The support frame (11) is equipped with an engaging member (12) and a linkage member (13). An end of the engaging member (12) is pivotally connected to the support frame (11) and another end of the engaging member (12) has a lock portion (120) slidably protruding from the side wall (20). The engaging member (12) is detachably engaged with the side impact protection block (10) through the lock portion (120). The linkage member (13) is disposed below the engaging member (12) and capable of sliding upward and downward along the support frame (11). The linkage member (13) is configured to drive the engaging member (12) rotate downward.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SAFETY SEAT
A safety seat for a vehicle that comprises a static part attachable to an anchor of a vehicle, at least two energy absorption elements mounted on the static part, each designed to absorb a different amount of energy and a dynamic part adapted to accommodate a child and comprising at least one connector which is engaging at least one of the at least two energy absorption elements, the at least one engaged energy absorption element is adapted to a weight range of a child, so as to absorb impact energy applied on the dynamic part via the static part, thus extending along a longitudinal movement between the static part and the dynamic part.
CAR SEAT BASE WITH INSTALLATION GUIDANCE AND LOCKING ANTI-REBOUNDING MECHANISM
A system for guiding installation of car seat base and a corresponding car seat includes sensors mounted on the car seat base for detecting a progress in a plurality of sequential installation steps. The installation steps are required for installing the car seat base and the corresponding car seat on a vehicle seat. The car seat base further includes light emitting elements arranged at various locations on the car seat base, each location corresponding to one of the installation steps. A processor is adapted to execute code instructions for, in response to outputs of the sensors, identifying completion of a current installation step. The processor is further adapted to instruct a suitable light emitting element to indicate a location corresponding to an installation step following the current installation step. An anti-rebound device includes a spring or piston that adaptively adjusts in response to an impact and a locking mechanism.
Rotatable car seat with detachable seat and top anchor
A child safety seat for use in a vehicle, the safety seat having a base including a rotating mechanism and a seat shell for a child that is detachably connectable to the base. The base is anchorable in the vehicle using either conventional safety belts or LATCH anchoring provisions. The base is configured to allow a conventional three-point occupant restraint to secure the base to the vehicle and to prevent interaction between the seat shell and the restraint belt. The seat shell, when connected to the base, may be rotated about a generally upstanding axis into forward-facing, rearward-facing, or side-facing configurations. The base includes a moveable wedge that allows the base to optimally fit a variety of vehicle seat having different seat cushion inclinations. The seat shell also includes a height-adjustable backrest portion that allows the seat configuration to be optimized for the occupant, even as the occupant child grows.
Seat belt fixing device and seat comprising the same
A seat belt fixing device and a seat including the same are introduced. The seat belt fixing device includes a seat belt clamp, top rod body, fixedly engaging element, locking element, and operating element coupled to the locking element. The seat belt clamp includes a first clamping element rotatably mounted on the seat and a second clamping element formed on the seat. The second clamping element is rotatable to a locked position to operate in conjunction with the first clamping element in clamping a seat belt. The top rod body and the second clamping element are connected and rotate concentrically. The locking element and fixedly engaging element are mounted on the top rod body (or second clamping element) and the seat, respectively. At the locked position, the locking element fittingly, engagingly connects to the fixedly engaging element to lock the top rod body and second clamping element.
Child Safety Seat
A child safety seat includes a restraining device, and an alert device and a switch serially connected in a series circuit. The restraining device includes a strap and a tether connector provided at a free end of the strap, the restraining device having an idle position and a deployed position, the restraining device being arranged in the deployed position to engage with a corresponding structure provided in a vehicle for restraining the child safety seat. The switch is operatively coupled to the restraining device and has an open state and a closed state, each of the open state and the closed state of the switch uniquely corresponding to one of the idle position and the deployed position of the restraining device. The alert device is activable to emit an alert signal when the series circuit is closed.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat is provided. The child safety seat includes a seat shell configured to receive and secure a child therein. The seat shell includes a top portion, a base portion, and side portions operably coupling the top portion to the base portion, and the side portions are fabric or mesh. The child safety seat further includes a support frame configured to absorb energy and that defines a seat portion and backrest portion of the child safety seat to enable the child to be secured therein.
ROTATABLE CAR SEAT WITH DETACHABLE SEAT AND TOP ANCHOR
An accessory mount for use with a child safety seat having a base including a rotating mechanism for detachably connecting a seat shell for a child. The base enables rotation of the seat shell into forward-facing, rearward-facing, or side-facing configurations. The base also includes an upstanding backrest portion and is anchorable in the vehicle. The backrest portion includes a reinforcement structure disposed in an upper end that is engageable to a portion of the seat shell when the seat is forward-facing to reinforce the seat shell anchorage. The accessory mount includes an attachment base adapted to matingly engage a portion of the upstanding backrest portion when the seat shell is rearward-facing to allow, for example, a mirror to be attached providing a view of the infant occupant to a vehicle driver.
