Tip-up/dive-down type reclining seat for vehicle
A vehicle seat is disclosed. The vehicle seat includes reclining lock mechanisms for releasably locking a seat back, a first releasing mechanism for unlocking the reclining lock mechanisms and causing the seat back to be brought to a condition where the seat back is allowed to be pivoted forward and rearward, the first releasing mechanism including a collapsible link bar member 70, a braking link 71 having a laterally projecting induction pin 72, a first link plate 73, and a first operating lever 7, a tipping-up lock mechanism for releasably locking a seat cushion, the tipping-up lock mechanism including cutout teeth 52a to 52c provided at the seat cushion, and a latch 80 and a cam member 81 which are supported to the seat back, and a second releasing mechanism for unlocking the tipping-up lock mechanism and causing the seat cushion to be brought to a condition where the seat cushion is allowed to be pivoted, the second releasing mechanism including a recess portion 80d formed in the latch 80 for allowing the cam member 81 to be swung up, a second link plate 82, and a second operating lever 8.
VEHICLE STOWABLE SEAT STRUCTURE FLEXIBLE COVER
A seat cover assembly, for a stowable vehicle seat having a seat structure extending from a seat bottom to at least a vehicle floor, includes a flexible cover assembly configured to couple to a lateral side of the vehicle seat and, in a concealing position, conceal at least a portion of the seat structure between the seat bottom and the vehicle floor when the seat is in a deployed position. The flexible cover assembly is configured to fold together as the vehicle seat is moved from the deployed position to a stowed position and unfold to the concealing position as the vehicle seat is moved from the stowed position to the deployed position.
Method of configuring a vehicle seating assembly
A method of configuring a vehicle seating assembly includes the step of providing a vehicle seating assembly that has a seat rotational member that rotatably couples a lower leg support to a seat and a seatback rotational member that rotatably couples the seat to a seatback. The method further includes the step of receiving input of a user's desired configuration of the vehicle seating assembly. The method still further includes the step of actuating at least one of the seat rotational member and the seatback rotational member responsive to the input received.
Vehicle seat with stowable seat bottom
A vehicle seat assembly for a vehicle having a cargo area bounded by a floor and at least one wall is provided along with a method of operation. The vehicle seat assembly comprises a seat back, a seat base, and a linkage assembly. The seat back of the vehicle seat assembly mounts to the wall and the linkage assembly mounts to the floor. The seat bottom is mounted to the linkage assembly and is moveable between stowed and deployed positions. When the seat bottom is in the deployed position, the seat bottom defines a deployed seat bottom plane. When the seat bottom is in the stowed position, the seat bottom is positioned below the deployed seat bottom plane. The seat bottom is separate from the seat back and is spaced apart from the seat back when the seat bottom is in the stowed position.
STOW-IN-FLOOR SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH PITCHED EASY ENTRY POSITION
A seat is provided in which a seat cushion is pivotally coupled to a seat back by a recliner assembly. The recliner assembly is selectively operable between a locked condition preventing pivotal movement of the seat back and an unlocked condition allowing pivotal movement of the seat back. A riser assembly supports the seat assembly above a floor, such as the floor of a vehicle, and is configured for actuation and movement of the seat assembly between a generally upright seating position, a pitched easy entry position tilted forwardly and downwardly towards the floor to allow easier ingress and egress behind the seat, and a stowed position recessed within a compartment below the floor.
Motor vehicle seat, in particular a motor vehicle rear seat
A motor vehicle seat includes at least a seat area, a backrest and, if necessary, a headrest as seat elements. The motor vehicle seat includes at least one detachable bolting unit assigned to the seat area and/or the backrest. Furthermore, at least one handle is provided to act on the bolting unit(s). The seat elements can assume several different functional positions. The single handle is arranged to act on at least an electrical drive assigned to the bolting unit(s) and thus to execute all functional positions.
Vehicle seat
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat in which a vacant space produced after tipping up a seat cushion can be effectively used as a luggage storage space. The vehicle seat includes: a support leg (6A, 6B, 6C) to support weight related to a seat cushion (2); a leg holding member (8) to hold a lower part (6C) of the support leg (6A, 6B, 6C); and a slide mechanism (18A, 18B) to move the seat cushion (2) and a seat back (3) in a front/back direction. The seat has a tip-up function to rotate the seat cushion (2) so that its front part is in a higher position than its rear part and the seating surface of the seat cushion (2) and the front surface of the seat back (3) face each other, in which the leg holding member (8) is located at a part (18A) of the slide mechanism (18A, 18B) which moves along with the seat cushion (2) and the seat back (3).
FLOOR STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE
A front seat 31 is foldable such that a seat back 33 is frontwardly collapsed and placed on a seat cushion 32, a rear seat 39 is foldable such that a seat back 41 is frontwardly collapsed and placed on a seat cushion 40, and a trunk floor 53 extending from a front pillar 12 to a rear pillar 14 is formable by laying a trunk board 49 across a gap formed between a rear face of the seat back 33 of the front seat 31 and a rear face of the seat back 41 of the rear seat 39 with the front seat 31 and the rear seat 39 in a folded state.
Vehicular seat
A vehicular seat is provided with which compactness can be achieved in a housed state where a seat main body is housed. A vehicular seat is a seat configured to be housed in a housing recess formed in a vehicle body floor. The vehicular seat includes: right and left rail devices fixed on the vehicle body floor and supporting a seat main body to be movable in the front to back direction; and a reclining device pivotably connecting the seat main body to a support base constructed on the right and left rail devices. The reclining device is arranged at a height position overlapping upper rails in the up and down direction, and is arranged outside the upper rails in a seat width direction.
One touch stow in floor seat assembly with automatic lateral displacement
A seat assembly is provided for supporting in an automotive vehicle. The seat assembly comprises a seat cushion and a seat back pivotally coupled to the seat cushion for movement between a reclined seating position and a fold flat position. A recliner assembly is coupled between the seat back and the seat cushion to provide pivotal movement of the seat back. A riser assembly is pivotally coupled to the seat cushion and pivotally latched to the floor to allow pivotal movement of the seat cushion between a horizontal seating position and a forwardly upright tumbled position. A release mechanism is coupled between the seat back and the riser assembly for automatically synchronizing actuation of the recliner assembly and the riser assembly to provide movement of the seat assembly to the tumbled position in response to the pivotal movement of the seat back to the fold flat position.
