Vehicle seat with integrated child booster device
A vehicle seat with integrated child booster device provides an integrated child booster deployable into a use position from a stowed position within a vehicle seat. The device includes a seat back coupled to and extending upwardly from a base frame. A seat bottom is slidably coupled to the base frame selectively covering and exposing an interior space of the base frame. A border section of the seat bottom is slidably coupled to the base frame and a central section of the seat bottom has an upright portion pivotally coupled to a seat portion along a first side of the central section. A second side of the central section is pivotally and slidably coupled to the border section. The upright portion is positionable adjacent to the seat back. A platform is vertically aligned under and supports the central section of the seat bottom.

Vehicle seat
An adequate mechanical stiffness and strength are afforded to a tumble seat or a vehicle seat having a latch mechanism provided in a rear end of the seat cushion. A cushion frame of the seat includes a side frame extending in a fore and aft direction, and the side frame includes a first member including a channel member having an open side facing sideways and a second member attached to the first member so as to form a closed cross section jointly with the first member, and extending downward further than the first member. A latch mechanism is positioned under the first member and attached to the second member.
Integrated car seat with adjustable sunshield
A child car seat is selectively movable between a stowed configuration in a storage area defined by a base portion of a rear passenger seat of an automobile and a deployed configuration positioned against the rear passenger seat. The car seat may be deployed when needed or stowed inside the base portion when not needed. A sun shielding assembly is mounted to a top edge of the child car seat and is adjustable according to remote control signals received from a transmitter that may be positioned near a driver of the automobile.
FOLDABLE TABLE SYSTEM
A foldable table system for incorporation in a seat pan, the system comprising: a table (5) having a first end (51a) and a second end (51b), a table top surface (51) extending from the first end to the second end, and a table bottom surface (52) extending from the first end to the second end, and a lifting assembly (6) to which the table is attached, the lifting assembly expandable from a lowered position to a raised position as the table is raised from a stowed state to an open state, wherein the lifting assembly comprises: an upper bar (72) and a lower bar (71) extending essentially parallel to each other, the upper bar being attached to the table (5), and a pair of legs (73, 74) each having a first end (73a, 74a) connected to the upper bar (72) and a second end (73b, 74b) connected to the lower bar (71), the legs arranged to cross each other at a point (X) between the upper bar and the lower bar, and wherein one of the legs (73) has its first end fixedly connected to the upper bar (72) and its second end slidably connected to the lower bar, and the other of the legs has its first end fixedly connected to the lower bar and its second end slidably connected to the lower bar, such that as the upper bar is raised relative to the lower bar, the ends of the legs which are slidably connected slide along the respective bar towards the end of the opposite leg that is fixedly connected to that bar in a scissor motion.
Apparatus and method for controlling occupant customized seat
An occupant customized seat control apparatus and method are provided. The method includes recognizing, by a camera, an occupant that approaches a vehicle, controlling a display to move based on a height of the recognized occupant, determining whether the recognized occupant is an infant, and when the recognized occupant is determined to be an infant, determining whether a booster seat needs to be controlled based on the height of the recognized occupant, and when at least one of the booster seat, a footrest, or the combination thereof needs to be controlled, converting a value of the recognized height into a booster seat actuator movement amount value, and controlling the booster seat to move based on the converted actuator movement amount value.
SINGLE HANDED MULTI POSITIONAL LOCKING MECHANISM
The present disclosure relates to a rotation activation mechanism comprising: a release actuator; a first axle comprising a locking element fixedly attached to the first axle, the locking element configured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position; and a second axle comprising a rotation support plate fixedly coupled to the second axle, the second axle being parallel to the first axle, the rotation support plate configured to move between a folded position and an unfolded position when the the locking element is in the unlocked position; wherein when the locking element is in the locked position, the rotation support plate is fixed in the folded position or the unfolded position, and wherein a first input to the release actuator rotates the first axle which rotates the locking element from the locked position to the unlocked position; wherein a second input to the second axle rotates the rotation support plate between the folded position and the unfolded position when the locking element is in the unlocked position. The present disclosure further relates to a vehicle seat assembly including a foldable element.
Seat assembly for a vehicle, vehicle and methods
A seat assembly for a vehicle includes a back rest part having a primary back rest surface being configured to support a back of an adult sitting and a sitting module. The sitting module includes a first part and a second part, wherein the first part carries a primary functional surface and a secondary back rest surface being configured to support a back of a child. The sitting module includes a pivoting mechanism and a sliding mechanism. The pivoting mechanism is kinematically interposed between the first part and the second part and the sliding mechanism is kinematically interposed between the first part and the back rest part such that the seat assembly may selectively assume a primary state in which the primary functional surface is operational or a secondary state in which the seat assembly is configured to receive a child.
