VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (100, 200), transferrable from a use position into a non-use position, includes a seat part (120, 220), a backrest (110, 210), and a base (140, 240). A front rocker (160, 260) is articulated via a first joint (I) on the base/adapter (150, 250) fixed to the base, and is articulated via a second joint (II) on the seat part with limited displaceability. A rear rocker (170, 270) is articulated via a third joint (III) on the base/adapter fixed to the base and is articulated via a fourth joint (IV) on the seat part. A locking device (162, 262) locks the first joint, the second joint or the fourth joint to lock the front rocker about the first joint. A fifth joint (V) pivotably connects the backrest to the rear rocker. A pivoting movement of the backrest about the fifth joint can be locked.
Automobile seat
An automobile seat includes a seat main body having a seat cushion frame; a seat supporting member; a link mechanism which allows the seat main body to shift between a first seat position and a second seat position corresponding to a forward-leaning posture; and a seat lock mechanism capable of being switched between a seat-locked state in which the seat main body is restrained at the first seat position and a lock-released state. The seat cushion frame is supported in a manner that a position thereof backward of the front link is suspended by the seat supporting member via the rear link. At the first seat position, a free-end supporting point of the rear link is positioned backward of a first vertical line passing a fixed-end supporting point of the rear link, and at the second seat position, the free-end supporting point is positioned forward the first vertical line.
Seating system for a motor vehicle
A seating system for a motor vehicle provides for a seat and a child safety seat defined by a body, which forms part of a seat cushion of the seat. The system has a releasable fastening apparatus of the ISOFIX type comprising two lower anchoring elements and two upper anchoring elements which can be selectively engaged by connecting elements carried by the body for securing the latter to the seat in a lowered position and a raised position, respectively.
Vehicle seat cushion trim and seat belt buckle arrangement with elastic return
A seat cushion trim assembly cooperates with a seat belt buckle having a flexible web, a seat connection portion for fixing a lower portion of the flexible web to seat location and a buckle fixed to an upper end of the flexible web. The seat cushion trim assembly includes a seat cushion trim and an elastic cord with a loop portion configured to extend around the seat belt buckle intermediate portion, an extensible portion extending from the loop portion to a trim fixation end, and a fastening arrangement fixing the trim fixation end to the seat cushion trim. The extensible portion bridges a distance from the flexible web to the trim and supports the buckle to prevent the buckle from moving out of an operative position, upon pivoting movement of a seat back to a forward position and to restore a buckle position upon a return pivoting movement.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (1), transferrable from a usage position for transporting persons to a non-usage position, includes a seat cushion (3) having a seat cushion support (3a), a backrest (5), a vehicle connectable base (9) and a rocker (13), which is pivotably connected by a first joint (I) to the base or to a component (11) fixed to the base and is pivotably connected by a second joint (II) to the seat cushion support. A rear foot (21) is pivotably connected by a third joint (III) to the base or to a component fixed to the base. Pivoting motion of the rear foot about the third joint is lockable. The rear foot is pivotably connected by a fourth joint (IV) to the backrest. A fifth joint (V) connects the backrest to the seat cushion support. At least one of the joints (I, II, III, IV, V) is a fitting (25).
Vehicle seat with stowable seat bottom
A vehicle seat assembly for a vehicle having a cargo area bounded by a floor and at least one wall is provided along with a method of operation. The vehicle seat assembly comprises a seat back, a seat base, and a linkage assembly. The seat back of the vehicle seat assembly mounts to the wall and the linkage assembly mounts to the floor. The seat bottom is mounted to the linkage assembly and is moveable between stowed and deployed positions. When the seat bottom is in the deployed position, the seat bottom defines a deployed seat bottom plane. When the seat bottom is in the stowed position, the seat bottom is positioned below the deployed seat bottom plane. The seat bottom is separate from the seat back and is spaced apart from the seat back when the seat bottom is in the stowed position.
STOW-IN-FLOOR SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH PITCHED EASY ENTRY POSITION
A seat is provided in which a seat cushion is pivotally coupled to a seat back by a recliner assembly. The recliner assembly is selectively operable between a locked condition preventing pivotal movement of the seat back and an unlocked condition allowing pivotal movement of the seat back. A riser assembly supports the seat assembly above a floor, such as the floor of a vehicle, and is configured for actuation and movement of the seat assembly between a generally upright seating position, a pitched easy entry position tilted forwardly and downwardly towards the floor to allow easier ingress and egress behind the seat, and a stowed position recessed within a compartment below the floor.
Stow to floor seat assembly
A seat assembly includes a five-bar linkage for moving the seat assembly between a plurality of positions in an automotive vehicle. A first link is rotatably coupled to a seat back at a second pivot point disposed coaxial to a first pivot point, and to a seat base defining a fifth link at a third pivot point. A second link extends axially between the first and second pivot points. A third link is defined by a lower seat back portion and a seat cushion and extends between the first pivot point and a fifth pivot point disposed adjacent a front portion of the seat cushion. A fourth link is rotatably coupled to the third link at the fifth pivot point and the seat base at a fourth pivot point. The seat assembly is capable of moving to both a pitched easy entry position and a stow flat to floor position.
Vehicular seat
A vehicular seat is provided with which compactness can be achieved in a housed state where a seat main body is housed. A vehicular seat is a seat configured to be housed in a housing recess formed in a vehicle body floor. The vehicular seat includes: right and left rail devices fixed on the vehicle body floor and supporting a seat main body to be movable in the front to back direction; and a reclining device pivotably connecting the seat main body to a support base constructed on the right and left rail devices. The reclining device is arranged at a height position overlapping upper rails in the up and down direction, and is arranged outside the upper rails in a seat width direction.
VEHICLE FOLDABLE SEAT
A vehicle foldable seat includes a seatback unit fixed to a vehicle body and coupled to a headrest and a seat cushion unit rotatably connected to the seatback unit. The seat cushion unit is fixed by elastic force in a stowing position, is selectively switched to a seating position when fixation thereof is released, and is engaged with the seatback unit to be fixed in the seating position.
