The seat base is moveable between extended and retracted positions as supported on a support roller by a guide rail disposed on an underside of the seat base. The guide rail includes a first support surface disposed at a first height, and a second support surface is disposed at a second height that is greater than the first height of the first support surface with a ramped portion disposed therebetween. The seat base is supported at the first support surface in the retracted position, and supported at the second support surface in the extended position. A seatback is coupled to a rear wall and is operable between upright and reclined positions. In the reclined position, the seatback is moved downward and away from the rear wall.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH AN EMERGENCY-EVACUATION CONNECTING ROD
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat (1) comprising:a seat frame (2),anchoring means (3) for anchoring the seat (1) to the floor of a vehicle, connecting means (4) for connecting the seat frame (2) to the anchoring means (3), allowing the seat frame (2) to be moved with respect to the anchoring means (3) at least in the longitudinal direction (X) and in the vertical direction (Z) of the seat (1),a backrest (5) pivotably articulated to the seat frame (2) in the vicinity of its rear edge (AR) about a first transverse axis (Y1) of the seat (1),an underframe (6) pivotably articulated to the anchoring means (3) about a second transverse axis (Y2) of the seat (1) and pivotably articulated to the backrest (5) about a third transverse axis (Y3) of the seat (1). The underframe (6) is articulated to the anchoring means (3) by way of an emergency connecting rod (10) that allows the seat to be tilted into an exit-facilitating emergency position.
Conveyance seat
A conveyance seat accommodable in a recess of a floor includes: a seat cushion; a front leg portion which supports a front lower portion of the seat cushion and of which one end is rotatably fixed at the front lower portion of the seat cushion and the other end is detachably fixed at a position in front of the recess; a rear leg portion which supports a rear lower portion of the seat cushion and of which one end is rotatably fixed at the rear lower portion of the seat cushion and the other end is rotatably fixed to the floor inside the recess; and an arm portion of which one end is rotatably fixed to the rear leg portion and the other end is fixable to the floor at a position behind the other end of the rear leg portion.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a backrest portion, a headrest slidably connected with the backrest portion, a side support connected with the backrest portion and protruding forward from the backrest portion one side thereof, the side support being configured to be slidable transversally relative to the backrest portion, and a linking mechanism adapted to movably link the side support to the headrest so that the headrest and the side support are movable concurrently relative to the backrest portion for adjustment. The linking mechanism includes a rod portion slidably carried with one of the headrest and the side support, and a ramped slot provided on the other one of the headrest and the side support, the rod portion being slidably connected with the ramped slot and movable relative to the one of the headrest and the side support.
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING KNEEL FUNCTION
A seat assembly for a vehicle includes a seat including a seat base and a seat back, and a seat back hinge connecting the seat back to the seat back and configured to allow for rotation of the seat back relative to the seat base. A rail assembly is operably connected to the seat to guide a forward/aft adjustment of a position of the seat in a direction parallel to a direction of the rail assembly. A forward bracket operably connects the seat to the rail assembly at a forward portion of the seat, and a rearward bracket operably connects the seat to the rail assembly at a rearward portion of the seat. The rearward bracket is configured to selectably rotate about a rear rail pivot to selectably lower the rearward portion of the seat relative to the rail assembly.
Two-axis seat hinge
A movable seat for a motor vehicle includes a base fixedly attached to a frame of the motor vehicle, a seat frame having a top side and a bottom side, and a seat cushion fixedly attached to the top side of the seat frame. A U-shaped hinge connects the seat frame to the base, a first end of the first U-shaped hinge being rotatably attached to the base and rotating about a first lateral axis, and a second end of the U-shaped hinge being rotatably attached to the seat frame and rotating about a second lateral axis. A wire that connects a first electrical appliance in the seat cushion to a second electrical appliance is included that is attached to the U-shaped hinge from the first end to the second end.
REAR SEAT HAVING TWO INDEPENDENT MODES
