KINEMATIC VEHICLE SEAT FOLDING
Various vehicle seat improvements are enabled herein. For instance, a seat folding mechanism comprises a first mounting bracket, rotatably attached to a base at a first end of the first mounting bracket, a first end of a connecting rod attached at a second end of the first mounting bracket, opposite the first end of the first mounting bracket, a second mounting bracket, parallel to the first mounting bracket, rotatably attached to the base at a first end of the second mounting bracket, wherein the connecting rod is attached at a second end of the connecting rod to a second end of the second mounting bracket, opposite the first end of the second mounting bracket, a first link arm, rotatably attached at a first end of the first link arm to the first mounting bracket, adjacent to the second end of the first mounting bracket, a first slider, slidably attached to the base, wherein a second end of the first link arm, opposite the first end of the first link arm, is rotatably attached to the first slider, a second link arm, rotatably attached at a first end of the second link arm to the second mounting bracket, adjacent to the second end of the second mounting bracket, and a second slider, slidably attached to the base, wherein a second end of the second link arm, opposite the first end of the second link arm, is rotatably attached to the second slider, whereby sliding of the first slider and the second slider causes the connecting rod to move in height direction.
Vehicle seat foldable into a console position and into forward folded position
A vehicle seat comprising a base, a seating portion connected to the base by a front connecting rod, a backrest support lockable on the base, a backrest pivotally mounted on the backrest support by a hinge mechanism and connected to the seating portion by a pivot. The backrest support is connected to the base by two rear connecting rods configured so that the backrest is folded horizontally in a console position when the front connecting rod pivots forward after unlocking the backrest support while the hinge mechanism is not actuated.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat comprising: a seat base frame, anchoring means for anchoring to the floor of a vehicle, a backrest pivotably hinged to the seat base frame, a substructure pivotably hinged to the anchoring means and to the backrest, a front connecting rod pivotably hinged to the anchoring means and to the seat base frame, a sector gear pivotably hinged to the anchoring means, an irreversible electric motor configured to cause rotation of the sector gear relative to the anchoring means, a first locking means for locking the rotation of the substructure relative to the anchoring means, a second locking means for locking the rotation of the backrest relative to the substructure, a third locking means for locking the rotation of the front connecting rod relative to the sector gear.
Child safety seat
A child safety seat includes a seat portion and a backrest portion connected with each other, a headrest slidably connected with the backrest portion, a first and a second side support connected with the backrest portion and respectively protruding forward from the backrest portion at two sides thereof, the first and second side supports being configured to be movable relative to the backrest portion for modifying a transversal distance between the first side support and the second side support, and a linking mechanism adapted to movably link each of the first and second side supports to the headrest so that the headrest and the first and second side supports are movable concurrently relative to the backrest portion for adjustment.
Seat with automatic tilting
A vehicle seat that includes a support intended to be rigidly fixed to the frame of a vehicle, a seating portion, a backrest extending the rear end of the seating portion, and a connecting mechanism which connects the seating portion to the support. The connecting mechanism has a primary mechanism which allows forward tilting of the seating portion and backrest relative to the support between a rest position and a forward-tilted position. The seat includes a first motor able to tilt the seating portion from its rest position to its tilted position, and a control member for the first motor.
Vehicle seat with inclinable seat cushion for facilitating access to the rear place
A vehicle seat comprising a seat back with a seat back frame, a seat cushion with a seat cushion frame and one first and second links. The first link is mounted pivoting relative to the seat cushion frame around a first transverse axis, and relative to a seat support around a second transverse axis. The second link is mounted pivoting relative to the seat cushion frame around a third transverse axis, and relative to a seat support around a fourth transverse axis. The first and second links are configured in order to allow lifting a rear part of the seat cushion frame relative to said seat support.
Vehicle seat with inclinable seat back
A vehicle seat comprising a seatback mounted pivoting by an articulation mechanism selectively lockable and unlockable, relative to a seatback footing selectively lockable and unlockable on a base, where the seat further comprises a seat cushion, first and second rear connecting rods connecting the seatback to the base, an actuating device being configured, by rotation of the first rear connecting rod, for driving the seatback into a folded down position when the articulation mechanism is unlocked and the seatback footing is locked on the base, and for driving the seat in a forward tilted position when the seatback footing is unlocked and the articulation mechanism is locked.
VEHICLE LOAD FLOOR ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
Mechanisms for raising at least a portion of a vehicle load floor in response to lowering of one adjacent seat, to allow for easier loading of vehicle cargo areas. Mechanisms may raise a portion of the load floor when any one or more adjacent seats are lowered, but only lower the load floor when all adjacent seats are raised. In this manner, mechanisms of embodiments of the disclosure raise the load floor to an inclined position so that the load floor gradually rises to the elevation of any adjacent folded seat backs, rather than having a step increase in height at the boundary between load floor and seats. This allows for easier sliding of cargo over the load floor and onto the seat backs.
Support mechanism for seating assembly
A support mechanism for a vehicle seating assembly includes a seat frame moveable between a sitting position and a standing position and a support bracket coupled to a vehicle floor. A linkage assembly extends between the support bracket and the seat frame. The linkage assembly is positionable between a collapsed position if the seat frame is in the sitting position and an extended position if the seat frame is in the standing position and includes a first end rotatably coupled to the support bracket and a second end slidably coupled to the seat frame. A pawl assembly is engageable with the linkage assembly and positionable in an unlocked position if the linkage assembly is in the collapsed position and a locked position if the linkage assembly is in the extended position.
