A seat assembly having a seat bottom, a seat back, a seat track, and a rear mounting unit. The seat bottom may be pivotally mounted to the seat back. The seat back may be pivotally mounted to the rear mounting unit. The rear mounting unit may be moveably disposed on the seat track.

An aircraft passenger seat including decoupled seat back and seat bottom elements configured to be selectively positioned with respect to spaced seat elements to allow the seat to be used for seating or storage as desired. The passenger seat is convertible by repositioning the seat back and seat bottom elements to provide conventional forward-facing seating, face-to-face seating with a longitudinally aligned and adjacent seat, or seat storage as desired. The seat back and seat bottom elements track along a track assembly affixed along facing inboard sides of fixed seat elements such as arm rest assemblies.

FOLD AND DIVE SEAT FOR VEHICLE
A fold and dive seat for a vehicle is provided with a seat-cushion tilting mechanism, a fold and dive mechanism, and a seatback reclining mechanism so as to simultaneously performed both a seatback reclining operation and a tilting operation of a front portion of a seat cushion. The fold and dive seat reduces by evenly dispersing a body pressure over a passenger's upper body and lower body.
Vehicle
A vehicle with a roll cage covering right and left seats; and a cargo bed located rearward of the right and left seats. The roll cage includes right and left rear extending portions extending downward and located further rearward than the right and left seats in a side view of the vehicle, and a plurality of cross portions extending in a right left direction. The cargo bed has an area located further forward than a plane defined by the right and left rear extending portions. The plurality of cross portions include a first cross portion including portions connected to the right and left rear extending portions and including a middle portion positioned higher than the portions connected to the right and left rear extending portions. This structure enables a vehicle to have a sufficient capacity in the cargo bed and allow smooth loading and unloading of cargo.

A seat for a vehicle includes a seat cushion configured to move between a seat position at which an occupant to be seated in the seat cushion and a shelf position moved upward from the seat position substantially in parallel.

A motor vehicle comprises two front seats aligned in a transverse direction, and at least one rear seat. Said at least one rear seat comprises a seating portion with a seating portion frame, a backrest with a backrest frame. The backrest frame is pivotable relative to the seating portion frame about a first transverse axis, between at least one deployed position for receiving an occupant of the seat and a folded position in which the backrest frame is folded down to face the seating portion frame. Said at least one rear seat is adapted to have a configuration in which said at least one rear seat is in said folded position and the backrest of said at least one rear seat extends at least partly between the two front seats.

A vehicle seat includes: (a) a seat structure having a seat cushion frame including a first seat side member and a second seat side member, and a seat back frame; (b) a seat slide mechanism that is capable of moving the seat structure; (c) a first upper riser that is fixed to the seat slide mechanism and supports the first seat side member; (d) a second upper riser that is fixed to the seat slide mechanism and supports the second seat side member; (e) a first locking mechanism that locks and unlocks the first seat side member to and from the seat slide mechanism; and (f) a second locking mechanism that locks the second seat side member to the seat slide mechanism when an excessive load is input.
