Vehicle having a cargo bed with a pass-through opening
A vehicle includes: a driver seat connected to a frame of the vehicle and disposed in a cockpit area; a dashboard disposed in front of the driver seat; a cargo bed supported by the frame and having a front wall, left and right walls and a cargo bed supporting surface surrounded in part by the front, left and right walls, the front wall having a movable portion that is movable to selectively cover a pass-through opening that communicates an internal space of the cargo bed to the cockpit area; and an extension receptacle disposed in the cockpit area, the extension receptacle being aligned with (i) the dashboard in a longitudinal direction and (ii) the pass-through opening in a lateral direction, the extension receptacle being configured to receive items therein that are inserted from the cargo bed through the pass-through opening and into the cockpit area of the vehicle.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seatback and capable of assuming a use state in which a user can be seated thereon and a stowed state in which the seatback has pivoted forward from the use state to overlap with the seat cushion. The vehicle seat includes an article placement part which, in the stowed state, protrudes more forward than the seatback and is provided with a support surface that faces upward. The article placement part is preferably an ottoman supported by the seat cushion. The ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion. Also, in the stowed state, the ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion.
Luggage gap cover device for vehicle rear seat
An embodiment luggage gap cover device for a rear seat of a vehicle is provided. The rear seat includes an interlocking frame connecting a seatback of the rear seat to a seat cushion for a dive operation, and the luggage gap cover device includes a foldable cover mat on a rear surface of the seatback configured to cover a gap between the seatback and a floor plate of a luggage compartment and a support protrusion on the interlocking frame, the support protrusion being configured to push and support the cover mat in a direction of covering the gap between the seatback and the floor plate.
CONFIGURED SEAT BACK AND REAR SEATING
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a configured seat back and rear seating system. The system includes an affixed backrest extending along a longitudinal axis and a plurality of intersecting multi-modal rear vehicle seats independently pivotally coupled along a front of the multi modal seats configured such that the rear of the plurality of the seats may rotate along a front pivot. In a seating mode the plurality of rear seats is configured such that the rear of the seat intersects the longitudinal axis of the affixed backrest. In a stowage mode configured such that the at least one rear of the plurality of the rear vehicle seats are extended to couple to an extended rear portion of a front seat. In some embodiments, a configured seat back and rear seating system includes a seat back including a front rear seat system including a series of accessories.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seatback and capable of assuming a use state in which a user can be seated thereon and a stowed state in which the seatback has pivoted forward from the use state to overlap with the seat cushion. The vehicle seat includes an article placement part which, in the stowed state, protrudes more forward than the seatback and is provided with a support surface that faces upward. The article placement part is preferably an ottoman supported by the seat cushion. The ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion. Also, in the stowed state, the ottoman is preferably pivotable relative to the seat cushion.
Full-flat rear seat
A full-flat rear seat is a collapsible full-flat rear seat including a seatback board mounted on a rear surface of a backrest of the rear seat of a vehicle and providing a flat support surface together with a luggage board of the vehicle in being selectively unfolded, when the rear seat rotates, and the seatback board includes: a center seatback board mounted on a rear surface of the rear seat of the vehicle; an upper seatback board provided at an upper side of the center seatback board and configured to move relative to the center seatback board; and a lower seatback board provided at a lower side of the center seatback board and hinged thereto and configured to hingedly rotate toward one surface of the center seatback board.
Utility Vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a body with an occupant part including a front occupant space for driving and a rear occupant space rearward of the front occupant space; a cargo bed rearward of the occupant part; and a cargo bed extender. The cargo bed extender is switchable between an extending orientation in which the cargo bed extender extends forward from the cargo bed and is in the rear occupant space, and a non-extending orientation in which the cargo bed extender is rearward of the rear occupant space and overlaps with a front portion of the cargo bed.
Hinged cargo liner
An injection-molded cargo liner has a floor panel, at least one seat back panel and a plurality of accordion pleats joining the floor panel to the seat back panel. Living hinges between adjacent ones of the panels and pleats are made by reducing thickness. The pleats allow the seat back panel to travel with the seat back, as the seat back is moved forward and down. In this way, the cargo liner provides a continuous barrier against dirt and water.
HINGED CARGO LINER
An injection-molded cargo liner has a floor panel, at least one seat back panel and first and second pleats joining the floor panel to the seat back panel. Living hinges between adjacent ones of the panels and pleats are made by reducing thickness. A surface of each hinge is concave in the direction of folding. The pleats allow the seat back panel to travel with the seat back, as the seat back is moved forward and down. In this way, the cargo liner provides a continuous barrier against dirt and water.
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR SEAT EXTENSION OF VEHICLE
A locking mechanism is arranged in a vehicle for detachably mounting a seat extension onto a seat backrest. The locking mechanism includes: an engagement plate mounted on the seat extension and having an opening in the engagement plate, a bracket mounted on the seat backrest, a housing mounted on the bracket and including a recess in the housing, a locking lever including a handle and a lever, the lever protruding from a bottom surface of the recess by passing through the opening in the engagement plate and the recess in the housing and having a pinhole disposed in an end portion of the lever, a pin shaft inserted into the pinhole in the end portion of the lever, and a spring disposed between an outer surface of the recess and the pin shaft.
