Luggage Gap Cover Device for Vehicle Rear Seat
An embodiment luggage gap cover device for a rear seat of a vehicle is provided. The rear seat includes an interlocking frame connecting a seatback of the rear seat to a seat cushion for a dive operation, and the luggage gap cover device includes a foldable cover mat on a rear surface of the seatback configured to cover a gap between the seatback and a floor plate of a luggage compartment and a support protrusion on the interlocking frame, the support protrusion being configured to push and support the cover mat in a direction of covering the gap between the seatback and the floor plate.
Automated technique for configuring storage space
A method for storing cargo items includes determining characteristics of a cargo space, where the cargo space includes at least one seat and the at least one seat is capable of being moved between a first position within the cargo space and a second position within the cargo space. A set of cargo items including one or more cargo items to be positioned in the cargo space is determined. A configuration of the cargo space is determined based at least in part on the set of cargo items, where the configuration of the cargo space includes the second position of the at least one seat. A layout of the set of cargo items within the cargo space is determined based at least in part on the set of cargo items and the determined configuration, and the at least one seat is moved from the first position to the second position.
MULTIPURPOSE VEHICLE
For loading space extending from a carriage to a driving section in a multipurpose vehicle with a driving section and a carriage disposed to the rear of the driving section fitted with a driver seat and a passenger seat laterally: the passenger seat has a seat portion and a backrest portion forwardly rotatable about a fulcrum provided by each of a front lower portion and a lower portion; a front gate board disposed on a front end of a floor board constituting the carriage is configured such that a movable front gate board positioned rearward of the passenger seat is forwardly rotatable; and the seat portion and the backrest portion rotated forward, the movable front gate board rotatable and to place over the backrest portion for an extended loading space.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion; a seatback configured to be tiltable in a front-rear direction; a deck board positioned behind the seatback; a covering having flexibility and provided to extend from the seatback to the deck board; and an object drop preventing material that covers, from a back side, a gap between the seatback and the seat cushion. The object drop preventing material is provided to extend from the seat cushion to an intermediate part of the covering in a length direction of the extending covering such that the object drop preventing material restricts an amount of upward bending of the covering.
VEHICLE SEAT HAVING AT LEAST ONE PNEUMATIC CUSHION
The invention relates to a vehicle seat (1) comprising a seat surface (2) and at last one backrest element (3, 13) which are pivotable about an axis (6) relative to the seat surface (2). The at least one backrest element (3, 13) is movable from a sitting position, in which the backrest element (3, 13) is positioned substantially at an angle (a) relative to the seat surface (2), into a reclined position, in which the seat surface (2) and the at least one backrest element (3, 13) form a substantially planar surface, and back again. The vehicle seat (1) has at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) and a pneumatic unit (9), which is configured in such a way that the pneumatic unit substantially completely inflates the at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) if the at least one backrest element (3, 13) is moved into the reclined position, and the at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) is substantially completely emptied when the backrest element (3, 13) is moved into the sitting position. The at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) is arranged in an edge region (8) of the seat surface (2) or of the at least one backrest element (3, 13), which adjoins the at least one backrest element (3, 13) or the seat surface (2), such that in the reclined position the at least one pneumatic cushion (10; 10.1, 10.2) extends between the seat surface (2) and the at least one backrest element (3, 13).
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seating assembly includes an upper seatbase pivotably coupled to a lower seatbase at a front end by a front hinge. The lower seatbase is slidably coupled to a rail. A seatback is pivotably coupled to a rear end of the upper seatbase by a rear hinge.
CONTROL OF A SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A method of controlling movement of a first component of a vehicle, the first component being a squab or a bulkhead of a rear seat of a vehicle seating arrangement. The method involves receiving a signal indicative of a state of a second component of the vehicle and receiving a request to move the bulkhead so that the seat is in a folded condition. The squab of the rear seat is moved into engagement with the bulkhead of the rear seat prior to moving the bulkhead; and movement of the bulkhead is commenced in accordance with the request and in dependence on the signal indicative of the state of the second component.
CONTROL OF A SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A method of controlling a seating arrangement of a vehicle, the seating arrangement comprising a rear seat including a deployable calf rest, the method comprising: receiving a signal indicative of a state of a component of a front seat positioned ahead of the rear seat; and controlling movement of the calf rest in dependence on the signal indicative of the state of the front seat component.
CONTROL OF A SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A method of controlling tilting movement of a headrest of a seating arrangement of a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving a request for tilting movement of the headrest; determining if the headrest is attached to the seat by checking for the presence of at least one electrical component that is located within the headrest; and operating a tilt motor to commence tilting movement of the headrest in response to the request only if the or each component is found to be present.
Vehicle cargo area structure
A forward panel is removably positionable in a first orientation within a cargo area in which a first surface faces upward and a support wall contacts an upwardly facing surface of the cargo area defining a concealed space between the upwardly facing surface and an opposite second surface of the forward panel, with an edge between the first and second surfaces abutting a rear seat assembly. The forward panel is positionable in a second orientation with the second surface facing upward with the support wall extending upward from the second surface. A rearward panel is removably positioned along the upward facing surface in a third orientation in which a first surface of the rearward panel is co-planar with the first surface of the forward panel with the forward panel in the first orientation.
