LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTER AND VEHICLE SEAT
A longitudinal adjuster (10) for a vehicle seat (1) includes at least one rail pair (12) with a longitudinal direction (x) relatively sliding and engaging first seat rail (14), for connecting to a seat frame side part (6), and a second seat rail (16), for connecting to a vehicle structure. A first clamping element (20), fastened to the first seat rail and a second clamping element (22), fastened to the second seat rail are usually spaced apart from each other and engage with each other, in response to a defined application of force, for example in the event of a crash. The first clamping element has a connection section (24), which can be connected to a surface (8) of a seat frame side part (6) directed toward the rear. The vehicle seat includes the longitudinal adjuster and a seat frame side part, which is connected to a first seat rail.
LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTER AND VEHICLE SEAT
A longitudinal adjuster (10) for a vehicle seat (1), including at least one rail pair which is formed from a first seat rail (12) and a second seat rail (14), the seat rails (12, 14) of the rail pair encompassing one another and being movable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction (x) and being able to be locked to one another via a locking device (16), the locking device (16) having at least one locking element, in particular at least one latching plate (18) which is movable in the vertical direction (z), the longitudinal adjuster (10) having an additional locking means (30) which is normally inoperative and is actuated only in the event of a crash by mass inertia. A vehicle seat (1), in particular a motor vehicle seat, includes a seat part (2) and a longitudinal adjuster (10).
SEAT SYSTEM
A seat system for a passenger aircraft. The seat system includes a passenger seat frame having a backrest support assembly and a seat bottom support assembly. A quadrant assembly is connected between the backrest support assembly and the seat bottom support assembly. The quadrant assembly includes a quadrant member including a pivot point adapted to pivot the backrest with respect to the seat bottom support assembly and the quadrant member. The quadrant member is attached to the backrest and adapted to break away in the event of an impact with the backrest. The quadrant assembly may further include a pivot point brake assembly attached to the pivot point and adapted to provide a controlled stop of the backrest in the event of an impact with the backrest. In addition, a seat back tray table may be attached to the back of the passenger seat frame.
Airbag assembly for reclined vehicle occupant
An assembly includes a bed having a reclined position in which the bed is elongated along an axis A. The bed includes a first side and a second side with the axis A between the first side and the second side. The bed in the reclined position has a first end and a second end spaced from each other along the axis A. The bed includes an occupant support surface between the first end and second end. The assembly includes an airbag that is inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. The airbag is housed in the first end in the uninflated position. The airbag in the inflated position has an arch shape between the first side of the bed and the second side of the bed. The arch is elongated along the axis A from the first end toward the second end above the occupant support surface.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat mounted with an occupant restraint device, the vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion frame; a seatback frame including a seatback side frame extending in a seat vertical direction at a seat width direction end portion of the seatback frame, the seatback frame being swingable at a seat rear end side of the seat cushion frame, and the seatback frame extending from the seat rear end side toward a seat upper side; a metal inflating body disposed along the seatback side frame, and configured so as to be stretched out toward a seat lower side such that a lower end of the metal inflating body abuts a vehicle floor surface; and a drive member configured to stretch out the metal inflating body in a case in which a vehicle collision at a seat front side occurs or the vehicle collision at the seat front side has been predicted.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat installed with a vehicle occupant restraining device, the vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion frame including a seat cushion side frame; a seatback frame supported swingably about a reclining rod and including a seatback side frame; an engaging portion disposed at a seat rear end side of the seat cushion side frame and at a seat lower side relative to the reclining rod, and protruding toward a seat transverse direction inner side; a first movable member disposed along the seatback side frame, a lower end portion of the first movable member being extended to position at a seat front side of the engaging portion; and a first driving member configured to extend the first movable member in a case in which a vehicle collision at a seat front side occurs or a vehicle collision at the seat front side is predicted.
Seat assembly with energy absorber
A seat assembly includes a lower rail track configured for attachment to a floor of the vehicle. An upper rail track is coupled to the lower rail track. A seat riser is attached to the upper rail track. A seat cushion and a seat back are each coupled to and supported by the seat riser. A seatbelt is attached to the seat riser. The seatbelt is operable to transfer a tensile force to the seat riser. An energy absorber interconnects the upper rail track and seat riser. The energy absorber is operable to reduce energy transfer between the seat riser and the upper rail track in response to the seatbelt applying the tensile force to the seat riser.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a pelvis movement suppression member, a moving mechanism, a control section and an energy-absorbing mechanism. The pelvis movement suppression member is disposed at a seat upper side of a seat front side of a seat cushion, extends in a seat width direction, and is movable in a seat front-rear direction relative to a frame of the seat cushion. The moving mechanism moves the pelvis movement suppression member from an initial position to a restraining position at a seat rear side relative to the initial position. When a collision is detected or predicted, the control section activates the moving mechanism and moves the pelvis movement suppression member to the restraining position.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH RESILIENT INSERT
A back portion of a seat includes a frame and an occupant support that is supported on the frame. The occupant support defines an A-surface and a B-surface located on an opposed side of the frame from the A-surface. An insert is located in the occupant support between the frame and the B-surface. The insert includes a frame cradle, and the frame has an upper end that is located in the frame cradle.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat, which is provided with a collision prediction sensor and with a seat cushion having a seat cushion top face and a seat cushion frame, includes: a pelvis movement suppression member disposed along a seat width direction inside a front portion of the seat cushion; a vertical movement-enabling unit supporting the pelvis movement suppression member at the seat cushion frame and allowing vertical movement of the pelvis movement suppression member to follow vertical movement of the seat cushion top face; and a stopper unit attached to the seat cushion frame and, in a case in which a rapid deceleration of a vehicle is detected or a collision of the vehicle is predicted by the collision prediction sensor, restricting downward movement of the pelvis movement suppression member.
