Extendible protective element for use in a child safety seat
An extendible protective element for use in a child safety seat is disclosed. The extendible protective element comprises a first thread component comprising a first external thread and a first internal thread, and a second thread component comprising a second external thread, wherein the first thread component is rotatably connected to the second thread component via the first internal thread of the first thread component and the second external thread of the second thread component.
FRAME FOR A VEHICLE SEAT, VEHICLE SEAT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A frame for a vehicle seat, wherein the frame has two side elements and two transverse elements, wherein the transverse elements each connect two opposite free ends of the side elements to one another, with at least one flexible tension member that is tensioned diagonally across the frame in such a manner that a first end of the tension member is attached to one of the side elements and a second end of the tension member is attached to the other side element. Provision is made that at least one of the side elements has a projection that is associated with an attachment point of the tension member on the side element and that deflects the tension member, by which means the tension member is tensioned during attachment at the attachment point.
Vehicle side airbag
An airbag for a vehicle, such as a side airbag, may be mounted to or proximate to a seat assembly on which a passenger may sit. The side airbag may include a chamber and an inflator configured to cause the chamber to expand toward the passenger to slow an acceleration of the passenger upon impact of the vehicle with another object or surface. Upon deployment of the chamber, the side airbag may cause a portion of the seat assembly (a seat tub, seat pan, and/or cushion coupled thereto) to deform toward the passenger seated thereon while remaining occluded from the passenger by the assembly. In some examples, the chamber may be stored in an unfolded position to allow for a more rapid deployment.
Vehicle seat
A seating posture is stabilized for the shoulders of a passenger seated on a vehicle seat. A vehicle seat is provided with a seat back configured to support the seated person from the rear. A shoulder support portion of the seat back configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand when air is supplied. When the air cell expands, one end portion of the shoulder support portion on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle seat moves more forward than the other end portion of the shoulder support portion on the inside in the width direction.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat shell having two sidewalls respectively provided at a left and a right side of the seat shell for restricting sideways movement of a child, a buffering part connected with the seat shell, a retaining mechanism and a release mechanism. The buffering part is movable between a first position retracted toward one of the two sidewalls, and a second position protruding sideways from the sidewall. The retaining mechanism is operable to hold the buffering part in the first position. The release mechanism includes an operating device that is disposed in a region of the seat shell between the two sidewalls and is operatively connected with the retaining mechanism, the operating device being operable to release the buffering part from the hold of the retaining mechanism for movement of the buffering part from the first position to the second position.
CHILD SAFETY SEAT
A child safety seat includes a seat shell and a buffering part. The seat shell includes a backrest portion and two sidewalls, the backrest portion having a front surface facing forward that is suitable to provide support for a child's back, the two sidewalls being respectively disposed at a left and a right side of the seat shell for restricting sideways movements of a child who sits in the seat shell, one of the two sidewalls having a sidewall portion located in front of the front surface. The buffering part is connected with the seat shell, the buffering part being operable to protrude sideways at an outer side of the sidewall portion.
Vehicle seat mounting system
A seat mounting system includes a seat frame having a support surface and first and second side surfaces downwardly extending from opposed sides of the support surface. Mounting members are supported on the first and second side surfaces. The mounting members each include an inner layer, an outer layer, and a deformable core portion disposed therebetween. The mounting members each include a mounting aperture extending through the deformable core portion, such that the deformable core portion surrounds the mounting aperture. A base frame includes a receiving aperture disposed through a body portion of the base frame. The base frame is operably coupled to the seat frame by a fastener received through the receiving aperture of the base frame and further received through the mounting aperture of the mounting member.
Armrest for vehicle
An armrest includes a protruded section extending in a vehicular front-rear direction and protruded toward a vehicular interior side, and the protruded section includes an upper section, a lower section, and an intermediate section that is between the upper section and the lower section and connects the upper section and the lower section on a vehicular interior side. The armrest further includes ribs that are on a vehicular exterior side with respect to the intermediate section and arranged in the vehicular front-rear direction and each of the ribs extends from the upper section to the lower section. The ribs include a low rigidity rib and a high rigidity rib that are arranged next to each other in the vehicular front-rear direction, and the high rigidity rib having rigidity higher than that of the low rigidity rib.
Vehicle occupant support
An arrangement in passenger vehicles, that diverts the impact energy in lateral or side impacts away from the passengers to the remaining mass of the vehicle thereby protecting the passengers, and in the same arrangement provides utilitarian access to the vehicle, such utilitarian access making it possible to both install multi-element contoured surround seats for passengers and the driver, and also a safety device for head-on collision protection that obviates the need for conventional seat belts and front impact airbags. An indo-skeletal structural arrangement proposed for the vehicle, provides further benefits by targeting the strength of the vehicle to protect passengers while minimizing other massive elements in the vehicle. Side impact protection for the head and neck are proposed with airbags and aircushions.
LATERAL PROTECTING MECHANISM AND CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM THEREWITH
A lateral protecting mechanism includes a fixing base, a protecting block, a locking component, a driving component and an operating component. The fixing base is fixedly disposed on a lateral portion of a child carrier. The protecting block includes a pivoting shaft and is pivotally disposed on the fixing base by the pivoting shaft. The locking component is slidably disposed inside the fixing base. The driving component is disposed inside the fixing base. The operating component is coupled to the driving component. The operating component drives the driving component to drive the locking component to protrude out of the fixing base to abut against the protecting block for restraining a pivoting movement of the protecting block when the operating component is operated.
