SEAT FRAME FOR A SEAT ARRANGEMENT OF A VEHICLE
Seat frame for a seat arrangement of a vehicle having a seat substructure, a seat surface supporting structure, an attachment structure and a backrest supporting structure. The seat substructure is arranged on a vehicle floor and the seat surface supporting structure fastens a seat surface element of the seat arrangement thereto. The seat surface supporting structure is movable on the seat substructure and/or on the attachment structure. The backrest supporting structure fastens a backrest element of the seat arrangement thereto. The backrest supporting structure is pivotably movable on the seat substructure. The backrest supporting structure is pivotable out of a first use position of the seat frame into a second use position of the seat frame. In the second use position, the backrest supporting structure acts on the seat surface supporting structure and forces the seat surface supporting structure out of the first use position into the second use position.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat that can suitably protect a seated occupant against an impact from a seat width direction is described, while enlargement of the seat in the seat width direction is restrained. A support member provided to the vehicle seat supports the seated occupant from a side of the seated occupant, and includes an inner plate attached to a seat width direction inner side of a side frame, an outer plate attached to a seat width direction outer side of the side frame, and a connection plate for connecting the inner plate and the outer plate on a seat front side. The outer plate is attached to the seat width direction outer side of the side frame at a position that does not overlap in the seat width direction with attachment positions of the inner plate and the side frame.
Vehicle seat assembly support and securing systems
A securing system for supporting an object within a vehicle and for translating forces occurring therebetween. The system includes a component adapted to support the object within the vehicle, a mount adapted for attachment to the vehicle for concurrent movement with the vehicle, and an interface member operatively attached to and spaced from the mount. A coupler is operatively attached to one of the component and the interface member, and a receiver is operatively attached to the other of the component and the interface member. The receiver is selectively movable between a first position where the receiver secures the coupler for concurrent movement therewith and a second position where the coupler can be removed from the receiver. A translation module is interposed in force-translating relationship between the mount and the interface member to support the component when the coupler is secured to the receiver in the first position.
Seatback frame
A frame serving as a seatback frame for a vehicle seat and simply configured to reduce a load applied to a seated occupant at the time of a vehicle collision is provided. A seatback frame includes a connecting wire which connects side frames. The center of the connecting wire is bent to extend toward a front side of a vehicle seat. When the seated occupant is moved toward a rear side of the vehicle seat at the time of a vehicle rear-end collision, the forward extending portion restrains a portion of the back of the seated occupant in which a thoracic vertebra is located and reduces an amount of a rearward movement of the portion.

The outer plate is attached to the seat width direction outer side of the side frame at a position that does not overlap in the seat width direction with attachment positions of the inner plate and the side frame.
REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR REAR SEAT INTERIM PORTION
A reinforcement structure for a rear seat interim portion includes a side member disposed outside a width direction of a vehicle body, a battery case mounted on a rear floor panel, and an upper transverse direction reinforcement connected to a lower portion of the rear floor panel, an outer end thereof connected to the side member, and the upper transverse direction reinforcement connected to the battery case through the rear floor panel.

The outer plate is attached to the seat width direction outer side of the side frame at a position that does not overlap in the seat width direction with attachment positions of the inner plate and the side frame.
Device for selectively controlling and reducing the backward displacement of a vehicle seat in the event of an accident
A device for selectively monitoring and reducing a backward displacement of a vehicle seat in the event of an accident, having at least one stop element (4) which arranged on a pair (1) of seat rails and has a stop face (5) which is inclined with respect to a longitudinal axis of the pair (1) of seat rails, and having at least one stop body (6) which is arranged on the vehicle seat, having a contact face (8) which is arranged in a normal position at a distance from the stop face. In order to make available a device which efficiently reduces a backward displacement movement of a motor vehicle seat in a simple way in the event of an accident of the motor vehicle, there is provision that the stop element (4) and the stop body (6) are embodied and arranged with respect to one another in the mounted state in such a way that in a crash position which occurs in a tail-end impact with a motor vehicle having the vehicle seat, the stop face (5) of the stop element (4) and the contact face (8) of the stop body (6) enter into contact and as a result the backward displacement of the vehicle seat which is caused by the accident is reduced.
