VENTILATION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
A device for ventilating the occupant of a vehicle seat, comprising an air inlet receiving air from a ventilation member, and comprising a first duct integrated at least in part into the backrest of the seat, a second duct integrated into a headrest mounted on the seat and supplying at least one air outlet integrated into the headrest and expelling air coming from the ventilation member, the second duct and first duct being connected by a leak tight sliding connection.
Ventilated and heated vehicle seat assembly
A vehicle seat assembly in which an impervious insert (41, 141) including a heating element and having a plurality of channels (42, 142) extending from an aperture (44, 144) positioned on a first side of at least one of a seat cushion (22) and a seat back (124) and in which a ventilation system (60) is coupled to a second side of the at least one of the seat cushion and the seat back for drawing air along the plurality of channels through the aperture and through a hole (30, 130) in the seat cushion or seat back for controlling the temperature of the seat assembly.
Vehicle comfort system with efficient coordination of complementary thermal units
An HVAC comfort system operates in a cabin of a vehicle. A plurality of vehicle status parameters are measured including a cabin temperature and a seat occupancy configuration. The method detects whether the vehicle status parameters correspond to a predetermined override state. When the vehicle status parameters correspond to the predetermined override state, then a respective mandated setting is automatically activated. Unless prevented by the mandated setting, one of a plurality of HVAC modes is automatically selected in response to the cabin temperature and other inputs, wherein the HVAC modes include an extremity heating mode and a panel circulation mode. The extremity heating mode is comprised of automatic activation of a touchpoint heated surface and other outputs in response to the seat occupancy configuration. The panel circulation mode is comprised of automatic activation of one or more zones for convective cooling in response to the seat occupancy configuration and may include activating other cooling devices.
Ventilation device for vehicle seat
A device for ventilating the occupant of a vehicle seat, comprising an air inlet receiving air from a ventilation member, and comprising a first duct integrated at least in part into the backrest of the seat, a second duct integrated into a headrest mounted on the seat and supplying at least one air outlet integrated into the headrest and expelling air coming from the ventilation member, the second duct and first duct being connected by a leaktight sliding connection.
VEHICLE SEATING METHOD WITH VENTILATED COOLING
A vehicle ventilation system includes a seating assembly including a seat blower. The seat blower pulls air away from a seating surface. A cabin blower is configured to circulate air in a cabin. A controller is configured to monitor a flow rate of the cabin blower. The controller is also configured to control a seat blower flow rate as a function of a cabin blower flow rate.
Seat heater and vehicle seat
Provided are: a seat heater including a heater unit and an air blower; and a vehicle seat, whereby the whole seat can be warmed quickly and improved comfort can be provided through adjustments made in temperatures as desirable for comfort at each of the sites. The seat heater includes a heater unit disposed in a seat, a blower disposed at a portion corresponding to the heater unit, and a controller configured to regulate outputs of the heater unit and the blower. The controller is configured to: bring the blower into operation if a predetermined condition is satisfied during an operation of the heater unit; and make an output of the heater unit higher when the blower is in operation than when the blower is not in operation.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND VEHICLES FOR PROVIDING HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) FUNCTIONS
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative door assemblies, vehicles, and methods of assembling door assemblies. In an illustrative embodiment, a seat includes a base section, a back section, a first section of duct, and one or more vents couplable to the first section of duct. The first section of duct is configured to receive air from an air supply source and the first section of duct is disposed at least partially within the base section. The one or more vents are disposed at an aft surface of a section chosen from the base section and the back section.
Vehicle seat
Provided is vehicle seat with a seat cushion and a seat back, the vehicle seat comprising: a duct disposed astride the seat cushion and the seat back, and configured to connect an air passage and a blower, the air passage being formed in the seat cushion and the seat back; and a side frame cover configured to cover part of the duct. The duct includes a first duct member and a second duct member connected to the first duct member. The side frame cover is configured to cover at least part of a first connected section that is a section at which the first duct member and the second duct member are connected.
Vehicle cabin airflow forming device
A vehicle cabin airflow forming device includes an airflow forming unit. The airflow forming unit is configured to form airflows circulating around seating space of a seat and form, as part of the airflows, an ascending airflow on one lateral side of the seating space, and a descending airflow on the other lateral side of the seating space. The seat is provided inside a vehicle cabin, and the airflows circulate around the seating space as viewed from a front side of the seat.
AIR-CONDITIONED VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat, an air conditioned vehicle seat, and an air conditioning system for a vehicle seat that includes an air mover attached to a first side of a connecting member of the vehicle seat; a gasket attached to a second side of the connecting member; and an air distributor provided adjacent to the gasket on the first side of the connecting member. The air conditioning system is free of adhesive between the air distributor and the gasket.
