VENTILATION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE SEAT
A device for ventilating the occupant of a vehicle seat, comprising an air inlet receiving air from a ventilation member, and comprising a first duct integrated at least in part into the backrest of the seat, a second duct integrated into a headrest mounted on the seat and supplying at least one air outlet integrated into the headrest and expelling air coming from the ventilation member, the second duct and first duct being connected by a leak tight sliding connection.
INTEGRATED COOLING SYSTEM FOR AN ADJUSTABLE HEADREST ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly is removeably supported on a vehicle seat having a seatback with a seatback frame. The headrest assembly includes a headrest bun operably coupled to a housing via a powered linkage system for driving the headrest bun between extended and retracted positions. A temperature control system is disposed in the housing and configured to provide treated air to a conditioning area disposed below the headrest bun at a vehicle occupant's neck. The temperature control system includes a blower operably coupled to duct assembly for blowing air treated by a thermoelectric module along the duct assembly. One or more vents are disposed at a downward angle on a front portion of the housing. The one or more vents are operably coupled to and in communication with the duct assembly.
Ventilation device for vehicle seat
A device for ventilating the occupant of a vehicle seat, comprising an air inlet receiving air from a ventilation member, and comprising a first duct integrated at least in part into the backrest of the seat, a second duct integrated into a headrest mounted on the seat and supplying at least one air outlet integrated into the headrest and expelling air coming from the ventilation member, the second duct and first duct being connected by a leaktight sliding connection.
Seat air conditioner
The seat air conditioner configured to supply conditioning air to a seat in a vehicle cabin includes a refrigeration cycle, an air blower, and a conditioning air supply unit. The refrigeration cycle includes a compressor that compresses and discharges a refrigerant, a heat emitting portion that emits heat of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to generate a warm air, a decompressor that decompresses the refrigerant flowing out of the heat emitting portion, and a heat absorbing portion that evaporates the refrigerant decompressed by the decompressor to generate a cold air. The air blower blows air to exchange heat with the refrigerant. The conditioning air supply unit supplies each of the warm air generated by the heat emitting portion and the cold air generated by the heat absorbing portion as the conditioning air to the seat.
SEAT AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE
A seat air-conditioning device includes: a blower; a first ventilation path through which air is drawn in by the blower from a first inlet in a seat base of a seat on which a person sits; a second ventilation path through which the drawn air is discharged from a first outlet in the seat; a third ventilation path that is different from the second ventilation path and through which the drawn air is discharged from a second outlet in the seat; and an outlet ventilation path selection switch that is between the blower and the first and second outlets and selects at least one of the second and third ventilation path to which the drawn air is to be led. The first inlet is vertically below the first outlet and the second outlet.
Ventilated seat system
A ventilated seat system for a vehicle includes a seating assembly including a seatback operably coupled to a seat base. A blower is coupled to the seating assembly. The blower generates a sound transmission when activated. The blower includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet. A first metamaterial silencer is coupled to an interior surface of the housing proximate to the inlet, and a second metamaterial silencer is coupled to the interior surface of the housing proximate to the outlet. Each of the first metamaterial silencer and the second metamaterial silencer reduces the sound transmission generated by the blower.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly may include a seat including a seat base and a seat back, a sensor, a vent unit disposed at least partially within the seat back, and/or an electronic control unit (ECU) connected with the sensor and the vent unit. The ECU may be configured to determine, via the sensor, if a user of the seat exhibits symptoms of fatigue. The ECU may be configured to operate the vent unit in a first mode and a second mode. When the vent unit is in the first mode, the vent unit may provide cool air to said user of the seat. When the vent unit is in the second mode, the vent unit may provide warmer and/or less air to said user of the seat. The ECU may automatically switch the vent unit between first and second modes to reduce symptoms of fatigue.
APPARATUS FOR THE DIRECTED DISCHARGING OF DROPLETS AND/OR PARTICLES, IN PARTICULAR IN THE INTERIOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, MOTOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN APPARATUS OF THIS KIND
A device for removing particulates includes an outflow opening and a fan that delivers air through the outflow opening. An air curtain is formed in front of a mouth and nose region of a person by the air delivered by the fan and which is directed in a targeted manner to remove particulates. The device has a collection element with at least one capture opening opposite the outflow opening. A least part of the air curtain, which runs in a plane stretched through transverse and vertical directions of a motor vehicle, is captured by the capture opening to remove at least a part of the particulate.
SEAT ASSEMBLY AND SEATBACK
A seat assembly may include a seatback frame, a primary carrier, an airflow duct, and a plurality of airflow outlets. The primary carrier may be connected to the seatback frame. The airflow duct may be defined at least partially by the primary carrier. The plurality of airflow outlets may extend through the primary carrier to an external surface and may be in fluid communication with the airflow duct.
