Removable Waterproof Car Seat Cover
A temporary seat cover has a first portion configured as a pocket portion, having an opening on a lower side, sized to enclose a headrest of a vehicle bucket seat, and a second portion of a width and length sufficient to cover the bucket seat below the headrest, the second portion constructed in two layers, a first, upper layer, comprising a wicking, water-absorbent material, and a second, lower layer, beneath the first layer, of a waterproof material. A user acquires the temporary seat cover storage, places the pocket portion over the headrest of the bucket seat, and forms the second portion over the backrest and seat of the bucket seat, such that, as the user sits on the seat, water is absorbed by the wicking, water-absorbent material of the first layer, and the second layer, of a waterproof material, prevents water from affecting the permanent covering of the bucket seat.
VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY HAVING ABRASION RESISTANT SLIP COVER
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seatback having a seatback frame. A bolster insert is positioned on a left side bolster and a right side bolster of the seatback frame. A foam layer is positioned between the seatback frame and a trim cover. The foam layer and the trim cover are contoured to expose the bolster inserts when the vehicle seating assembly is fully assembled. A slip cover has a front-central portion that includes an abrasion resistant material.
Head Rest Cover
A head rest cover for providing a low friction surface on a head rest of a seat is provided. Friction alopecia, or hair loss caused by friction against hair, can be a problem at the rear of the head for those who spend time leaning their head against a headrest of a seat, such as a vehicle seat while driving, or any other seat. The present disclosure prevents friction alopecia by providing a smooth silk surface on which to rest one's head while seated which prevents the friction that leads to hair loss.
Automobile Seat Cover
The disclosed invention is an improved seat cover that prevents slipping or pulling off of the seat back during use. The improved seat cover utilizes an additional panel of material that is tucked between the seat back and seat bottom of a car seat. The disclosed invention fits a variety of seat types and can accommodate arm rests and child safety seat latches. In certain embodiments of the improved seat cover, the additional panel of material includes slots through which child safety restraints may be anchored without the removal of the seat cover.
Protective Seat Cover
A protective seat cover for covering a chair seat is provided. The chair seat has a substantially horizontal seat section with a front edge and a back edge and a substantially vertical backrest section. The protective seat cover comprises a germ impervious sheet of material having a top surface, a bottom surface, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge. A seat receiving pocket is formed at the top edge of the sheet of material. The seat receiving pocket receives and encompasses at least a portion of the top edge of the backrest of the chair seating. The sheet of material is positionable on the chair seating with the bottom surface positioned in a generally downward direction directly against the chair seating and the top surface positioned in a generally upward direction providing a barrier for a contaminated or dirty chair seat.
Hygienic Headrest Cover
In a cover for a variable geometry vehicle headrest having a geometry including a center surface and integral left and right lateral extensions, each of the lateral extensions defining planes of angulation relative to the center surface along respective lines of dependency between the center surface and each respective lateral extension, the cover includes a stretchable, breathable moisture-absorbent fabric enveloping the headrest and formed in proportion to dimensions smaller that the headrest but within a range of stretchability of the cover relative to the dimensions the headrest, the fabric including internal bands of resilient material having a greater modulus of elasticity than that of the fabric, the bands secured within the fabric proximally against each of the lines of dependency between the center surface and the lateral extensions of the headrest.
