System and method for assembling a trim cover assembly
A system and method for assembling a trim cover. A seam may be provided to attach the first trim panel to a second trim panel. Tabs and notches may be provided with at least one of the trim panels. One or more stitch attributes may be measured in response to detection of a tab or notch.

A seat cover (5) of a vehicle seat (1) includes: a welt seam part (17) in which seam allowances (15 and 16) of sewn skin materials (10 and 11) are split to right and left sides to be folded on the skin materials (10 and 11), and are sewn on the skin materials (10 and 11) by stitches (13 and 14) which are formed in the skin materials (10 and 11) along a seam (12) where the skin materials (10 and 11) are sewn; and a hook-and-loop fastener (18) provided in the welt seam part (17). The seam allowances (15 and 16) include edge portions (21 and 22) arranged outside the stitches (13 and 14). The hook-and-loop fastener (18) is fixed in the edge portions (21 and 22).
SEAT COVER MADE OF LEATHER FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A seat cover made of leather for a vehicle seat is disclosed. The seat cover has two or more blank parts as first blank parts, wherein the first blank parts are joined to each other on at least one joining edge. At least one first blank part has a width that is at least equal to the width of a following blank part of a follower and the first blank part has a length that is at least equal to the length of the following blank part of the follower.

A vehicle seat including: a seat pad; and a seat cover including: a first cover piece and a second cover piece which are arranged adjacent to each other; and a sewn portion, wherein the first cover piece includes a general portion which forms a design surface of the seat and a thin end portion which projects from an edge of the general portion and has a thickness smaller than a thickness of the general portion, and wherein in the sewn portion in a tilted state, the thin end portion is bent back towards a back side of the general portion so as to form a lateral U shape, and a part of the thin end portion which is arranged at a back side thereof serves as a seam allowance of the first cover piece and is overlapped with and sewn to a seam allowance of the second cover piece.

[Means for Achieving the Purpose] A vehicle seat of the present invention includes: a frame 4 formed from a sheet metal, the frame standing upright in a vertical direction thereof; a garnish 1 engaged with and fitted to the frame 4 so as to cover an outer peripheral surface of that frame; a cushion element 3 supported by the frame 4; and a trim cover element 2 covering the cushion element 3. In this vehicle seat, a terminal end portion 20 of the trim cover element 2 is fixedly secured to an outer surface of the garnish 1.
ANTI-SLIP PROTECTIVE COVER
Disclosed herein is an anti-slip protective cover. The anti-slip protective cover includes a first layer formed of a protective material and a second layer formed of an anti-slip material. The anti-slip protective cover also includes a connection binding the first layer to the second layer at at least one location on the interior portion. The connective material may be arranged in a plurality of strips extending across a portion of the interior portion of the anti-slip material and the protective material. The connective material may traverse the interior portion from a first portion of the peripheral region to a second portion of the peripheral region.

PROTECTIVE COVER WITH RETENTION STRAPS
Disclosed herein is an anti-slip protective cover used to protect the outer surface of a furniture article. The anti-slip protective cover includes a first layer formed of a protective material and a second layer formed of an anti-slip material. The cover also includes a retention tie connected to at least one of the first layer or the second layer. The retention tie is operable to extend around a first portion of the furniture article such that the retention tie operably anchors the first layer and the second layer to the furniture article. The retention tie is attached to at least one of the first layer or the second layer such that the anti-slip material of the second layer is held against the first portion of the furniture article such that the friction between the anti-slip material and the furniture article limits relative movement between the cover and the furniture article.
