Baitcaster with line guide mechanism
A baitcaster includes a spool, a guide member, and a line guide mechanism. The spool is configured to be driven to take up a fishing line. The guide member is configured to transition between a first state for let out of the fishing line and a second state for take up of the fishing line. The guide member configured to engage the fishing line at a contact point and guide the fishing line to the spool from the contact point when in the second state. The guide member is configured to be driven to rotate to reciprocatively translate the contact point along a length of the guide member. The line guide mechanism is configured to transition the guide member between the first state and the second state in response to a user input.
Casting Rod Handle
An improved casting rod handle utilizing a forward finger trigger hold in relation to the reel and reel seat providing a more comfortable and less injury prone handle and grip position for the user.
FISHING REEL WITH A LINE TRANSFER MECHANISM
A fishing reel with a line transfer mechanism is provided. The line transfer mechanism includes a line transfer arm that toggles over a spool for selectively transferring a fishing line between a cast mode and a retrieve mode. A first end of the line transfer arm is pivoted to a reel body of the fishing reel. An eye member is disposed on the line transfer arm for passing the fishing line from and to the spool. The eye member is disposed substantially perpendicular to a direction of the fishing line in the cast and retrieve modes. An angled bend configured proximal to one or both of the first end and a second end of the line transfer arm allows the eye member to be disposed proximal to the fishing reel in the cast and retrieve modes while maintaining the eye member substantially perpendicular to the direction of the fishing line.
Braking device, line length measuring device and fishing reel equipped with either device
I provide a braking device attachable to a body frame having one bearing member that pivotally supports a spool and an operation means for rotating the spool, including another bearing member that pivotally supports the spool; a spool brake; a control board that controls the braking force of the spool brake; a battery that supplies power to the control board; and a cover member that covers the battery and the board.
SMART REEL ASSEMBLY
A casting device may include a microcontroller, an inertial measurement unit in communication with the microcontroller, an actuator in communication with the microcontroller, and a power source for providing power to the casting device. The casting device may also include one or more indicators that provide user feedback regarding accurate use of the device.
SPOOL FOR FISHING REEL
Provided is a fishing reel spool that has a line knot hider. The spool for a fishing reel includes a knot hider for hiding a knot of a fishing line inside the surface of a winding part such that a line is uniformly wound on the winding section without a knot exposed outside the surface of the winding section, thereby not interfering with thumbing in casting and enabling even a beginner to easily connect and use a fishing line without connecting a fishing line to a spool using a complicated knotting manner. The spool for a fishing ring includes a drum-shaped winding part mounted on a reel body by a shaft and configured to wind a fishing line on an outer surface thereof, and a knot hider configured to hide a knot of the fishing line inside a surface of the winding part.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool shaft, a first elastic member, a first shaft bearing, a pinion gear, a pressing member, and a second elastic member. The first elastic member is mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the spool shaft. The first shaft bearing includes an inner race that has an inner circumferential surface that contacts the first elastic member, and an outer race. The pressing member is pressed by the pinion gear in a first direction and approaches a first end when the pinion gear is in the decoupled position. The second elastic member is disposed between the pressing member and the outer race of the first shaft bearing, and the pressing member is pressed by the pinion gear when the pinion gear is in the decoupled position, thereby pressing the outer race of the first shaft bearing in the first direction.
WATERPROOF STRUCTURE AND SPINNING REEL
A waterproof structure is provided on a spinning reel including a reel main body, a cylindrical member disposed on an outer periphery of a spool shaft and a rotor disposed at a front of the cylindrical member in the reel main body. The waterproof structure includes a seal member which waterproofs the entire circumference in the area between the cylindrical member and the rotor. The seal member includes a main lip that is in liquid-tight contact at a contact portion in the axial direction of the spool shaft. An annular wall portion is disposed on at least one of the rotor or the cylindrical member. The annular wall portion covers the contact portion at the entire circumference of an outer peripheral side of the contact portion.
FISHING REEL EQUIPPED WITH LOCK LEVER HAVING FUNCTION TO COVER PROTRUSION OF FRAME
Provided is a fishing reel equipped with a lock lever having a function to cover a protrusion of a frame. Specifically, by forming a protrusion at a lower portion of a front end of the frame, in particular, by forming a protrusion on which a worm shaft of level wind is installed, the appearance of the frame is maintained sharply to improve grip. In addition, the fishing reel enables convenient use of the lock lever while enhancing design aesthetics by covering the protrusion with the lock lever for detachably attaching a side cover. The fishing reel includes a frame having a spool mount and a palm sidewall, a palm-side cover detachably attached to the palm sidewall, and a lock lever interposed between the palm sidewall and the palm side cover and configured to lock or unlock the palm side cover.
