Headrest support device
Provided is a simple and compact headrest support device. The headrest support device (20) comprises a support member (22) coupled to a frame (2) of a seatback (1), and a headrest pillar structure including a pillar base portion (25) extending laterally and supported by the support member so as to be rotatable around an axial line of the pillar base portion, and a pair of pillar main body portions (26) extending substantially vertically from the pillar base portion substantially in parallel to each other in a laterally spaced apart relationship and connected to a headrest (24), wherein the support member is coupled to the frame at at least one coupling portion (34) disposed between the two pillar main body portions in front view in a headrest upright condition where the headrest is positioned above the seatback.
ROTARY BACKREST RECLINE MECHANISM
A backrest recline mechanism including a first shaft attachable to a first seat assembly component and a second shaft attachable to a second seat assembly component. The first shaft has a slotted ring defining capture slots and an interior annular space. A control ring has a first end disposed in the annular space. The second shaft is engaged with a second end of the control ring. A first collar, having a plurality of release recesses, is rotatably disposed around the slotted ring. First bearings respectively retained within the capture slots are beneath the first collar. In a first rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses align with the capture slots to rotationally disengage the first and second components. In a second rotational position, the release recesses misalign with the capture slots to rotationally engage the first and second seat assembly components.
LOCK MECHANISM FOR ROTARY COMPONENT CONTROL
A lock mechanism for controlling a rotating component including an outer shaft attachable to a stationary component and having a slotted ring defining capture slots and an interior annular space, a control ring having a first end disposed in the annular space, an inner shaft attachable to a rotating component configured to rotate relative to the stationary component, and the inner shaft engaged with a second end of the control ring, a first collar rotatably disposed around the slotted ring, the first collar having a plurality of release recesses, and a plurality of first bearings respectively retained within the capture slots beneath the first collar. In a first rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses align with the capture slots to rotationally disengage the rotating and stationary components. In a second rotational position of the first collar, the plurality of release recesses misalign with the capture slots to rotationally engage the rotating and stationary components.
HEAD STABILIZING HEADREST
A headrest for a seat assembly includes a central main body having a first side and a second side that is opposite from the first side. A first lateral stabilizer is moveably coupled to the first side of the central main body. The first lateral stabilizer is distinct from the central main body. A second lateral stabilizer is moveably coupled to the second side of the central main body. The second lateral stabilizer is distinct from the central main body. The first lateral stabilizer and the second lateral stabilizer are movable between retracted positions and stabilizing positions.
HEADREST
A headrest can be pivoted between a use state and a retracted state. The headrest has a pivot shaft pivotally supported to an upper part of a back frame. Opening ends of the headrest frame are connected to the pivot shaft. A locking mechanism is provided on the pivot shaft between the ends of the headrest frame. The lock mechanism includes right and left lateral wall portions into which the pivot shaft is inserted. Right and left lateral plate portions are connected to the pivot shaft between the right and left lateral wall portions. The headrest frame is pivotally biased toward the retracted position by a pivot member biasing spring. The locking mechanism may have a columnar member. The columnar member may approach the pivot shaft while maintaining a parallel state with the pivot shaft.
HEADREST
A headrest can be pivoted between a use state and a retracted state. The headrest has a pivot shaft pivotally supported to an upper part of a back frame. Opening ends of the headrest frame are connected to the pivot shaft. A locking mechanism is provided on the pivot shaft between the ends of the headrest frame. The lock mechanism includes right and left lateral wall portions into which the pivot shaft is inserted. Right and left lateral plate portions are connected to the pivot shaft between the right and left lateral wall portions. The headrest frame is pivotally biased toward the retracted position by a pivot member biasing spring. The locking mechanism may have a columnar member. The columnar member may approach the pivot shaft while maintaining a parallel state with the pivot shaft.
Headrest Moving Device
The present invention relates to a headrest moving device including a damper configured to generate a resistance force in a direction opposite to a moving direction when the headrest is moved, wherein, when the headrest is moved, the resistance force is different when the headrest is located at a first position from when the headrest is located at a second position, so that noise can be prevented from being generated and a user can be prevented from recognizing the moving of the headrest as a malfunction when the headrest is moved.

Vehicle headrest sliding device
A device for sliding a headrest towards the front direction includes a ratchet and a release lever installed in a side link which is a movable part. A release protrusion is formed in the ratchet and disposed almost in parallel with the hinge shaft of the ratchet. The release protrusion of the ratchet is pushed up to release the locking so that the headrest is returned to its original position.
