Seat base assembly and latching assembly for a rear-entry vehicle
A latch assembly of a seat is provided in a vehicle. The latch assembly includes a base including a first pin and a second pin. A first latch includes a first housing and a first latch mechanism at least partially enclosed within the first housing. The first latch is pivotally coupled to the base. A second latch includes a second housing and a second latch mechanism at least partially enclosed within the second housing. The second latch is pivotally coupled to the base. The first latch is disposed in its latched position when the first latch engages the first pin, and the second latch is disposed in its latched position when the second latch engages the second pin. The first latch and the second latch are not disposed in their respective latched positions at the same time.
Motor vehicle seat, in particular a motor vehicle rear seat
A motor vehicle seat includes at least a seat area, a backrest and, if necessary, a headrest as seat elements. The motor vehicle seat includes at least one detachable bolting unit assigned to the seat area and/or the backrest. Furthermore, at least one handle is provided to act on the bolting unit(s). The seat elements can assume several different functional positions. The single handle is arranged to act on at least an electrical drive assigned to the bolting unit(s) and thus to execute all functional positions.

HEAD RESTRAINT ASSEMBLY
A head restraint assembly for a seat which includes a housing and a movable head rest portion which defines at least a part of a rest surface for a seat user's head. The movable head rest portion is pivotally mounted to the housing via a linkage mechanism that is configured to allow pivotal movement of the movable head rest portion to enable the angle of the rest surface relative to the housing to be adjusted.
HEADREST ASSEMBLY
A headrest assembly for a seat, wherein the headrest assembly comprises first and second headrest portions, the first and second headrest portions being movable relative to each other in a lateral direction, such that in a first configuration the first and second headrest portions are combined and form a single headrest for a single occupant of the seat, and in a second configuration, the first and second headrest portions are laterally spaced apart and form separate headrests for respective first and second occupants of the seat.
MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR A MOTOR VEHICLE REAR SEAT
The task of the invention is to further develop a motor vehicle seat and in particular a motor vehicle rear seat so that operation is simplified and different functional positions are assumed quickly and conveniently
The task of the invention is solved by a motor vehicle seat is equipped with at least a seat area, a backrest and, if necessary, a headrest as seat elements. Furthermore, at least respectively a detachable bolting unit assigned to the seat area, the back area and the optional headrest is executed. Furthermore, at least one handle is provided to act on the bolting unit(s). The seat elements can assume several different functional positions. According to the invention, the single handle is set up to act on at least an electrical drive assigned to the bolting unit(s) and thus to execute all functional positions.
Stowable seats
A vehicle seat assembly is provided having a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat back pivotally connected to the seat bottom by a bracket where the bracket has a seat bottom portion and a seat back portion. The seat bottom portion is arranged at an angle with respect to the seat back portion so as to generally form a right angle. A main pivot axis extends through the seat bottom. The distal end of the seat bottom portion of the bracket is pivotally connected to the main pivot. The distal end of the seat back portion of the bracket is connected to the seat back so as to pivot the seat back with respect to the seat bottom. The seat back is configured to rotate on top of the seat bottom to a stowed position.

SEAT HEADREST
A seat headrest comprising: a headrest frame (12) having: a lower frame part (14) configured to be attached to a seat back; an upper frame part (24) pivotally attached to the lower frame part at a pivot point to be moveable between a fully open position and a folded position; and a locking mechanism (40) at the pivot point to releasably lock the upper frame part relative to the lower frame part in the fully open position and the folded position, the locking mechanism including a release member (42) for operation by a user to release the lock to enable the upper frame part to be pivoted relative to the lower frame part.
