Truck bodies
A truck body is disclosed which is able to be mounted to a truck in such a way that the truck body can pivot relative to the truck between a lowered, travel orientation and a raised, dumping orientation. The truck body has a material carrying region, and the material carrying region has: a floor surface, and a curved transition (“the floor-to-front-wall-transition”) between the floor surface and a surface forming a front wall portion of the material carrying region. The radius of curvature of at least a portion of the floor-to-front-wall-transition is two meters or greater, which may help to reduce material carry-back.
MOBILE TRANSFER STATION FOR FLOWABLE MATERIAL
A flowable-material transfer station includes a mobile frame and a conveyor coupled thereto. A hopper mounted on the mobile frame has a side wall with an opening. A chute's loading end is rigidly coupled to the hopper at the side wall opening thereof wherein the chute is in fluid communication with the hopper via the opening. The hopper is hingedly coupled to the mobile frame and the chute's dispensing end is positioned over a first end of the conveyor. A lift mechanism is provided to move the hopper between a lowered position and a raised position. The chute's dispensing end is above the chute's loading end when the hopper is in its lowered position, and is below the chute's loading end when the hopper is in its raised position.
TRUCK BED
An on-road truck body lining for protecting an on-road truck body from wear. The on-road truck body lining includes a plurality of main lining elements and a plurality of edge lining elements. Each main lining element includes a load-facing element having one or more transition sides, each transition side being adapted to meet a corresponding transition side of an adjacent edge lining element. A reinforcement plate having a main portion is fixedly attached to the load-facing element in a stacked configuration and having one or more end portions, each of the one or more end portions protruding out from a transition side of the load-facing element to form a respective flange. In use, the one or more end portions of the reinforcement plate are each arranged to be covered by a respective adjacent edge lining element such that the respective adjacent edge lining element, upon being fixated, clamps the main lining element to the on-road truck body.
Dump Truck Box with Reduced Tendency for Material to Stick at the Sides of the Box
In a dump truck of the type having a frame mounted on ground wheels, a dump box having a floor, two side walls, a front wall at a front end and an open rear end with a tail gate where the dump box is supported on the frame for movement between a lowered position for storing and transporting materials and a raised position where the front end is elevated for dumping the materials out of the open rear of the dump box under gravity, the side walls are tapered so that a spacing at the front end is less than a spacing at the rear end so that the materials as they slide forwardly come away from the side walls to reduce pressure on the side walls and aid the sliding.
WORK VEHICLE WITH FOLD-OUT TIPPING EDGE
A skip apparatus for a working vehicle has a skip that is pivotable upward about a carrying axle and that has a pouring edge via which pourable material is able to be poured out of the skip. The skip apparatus additionally has an emptying device which is pivotable relative to the skip about a pivot axle on the skip during a pivoting movement. The emptying device has an inlet side and an outlet side. The inlet side is arranged in a region of the pouring edge such that the pourable material, which is poured out of the skip via the pouring edge, passes into the emptying device via the inlet side. The pivoting movement of the emptying device is guided in a defined manner by a guiding device. A working vehicle having such a skip apparatus also is provided.
Front tower structure for a mining vehicle
A front tower on a truck body for use with a mining vehicle. The truck body includes a truck bed including a canopy and a front exterior wall. The front exterior wall includes at least one front tower. The front tower includes two longitudinal plates spanning the front exterior wall, at least one gusset plate transverse and connected to the longitudinal plates, and a landing plate transverse and connected to the longitudinal plates. The landing plates are configured to transfer load stress from the bed to a frame of a mining vehicle.
APPARATUS FOR DISCHARGE OF BULK MATERIALS
The present invention relates to a system for transporting and discharging material from vehicles and trailers having a material hopper body. The material hopper body has generally inclined sidewalls and a substantially horizontal bottom area defined by an internal conveyor extending the length of the hopper body. A tailgate door closes the end of the hopper body to contain the load in the hopper. The tailgate door is moveable from the closed position to an open position to permit discharge of the material out the rear of the hopper. Lift and stabilizing means proximate the rear of the material hopper body elevate the hopper body. An external throw conveyor is adapted to pivot between a stored position at the side of the hopper body to an operational position behind and below the hopper body at the discharge end to directionally discharge material from the hopper body.
DUMP BODY FOR HAUL TRUCK
A dump body comprising a front wall, a canopy extending from the front wall in a first direction, and a bottom wall extending from the front wall in a second direction different from the first direction. The front wall, the canopy, and the bottom wall can form an interface configured to receive at least one pair of side walls. The bottom wall can have a convex shape in a transverse direction of the dump body and/or a longitudinal direction of the dump body. The bottom wall can be inclined according to one or more distinct angles from a front edge of the bottom wall to a rear edge of the bottom wall.
Dumpster and portable toilet system
A dumpster and portable toilet system that includes a chassis with a dumpster mounted thereto, a portable toilet housing portion and a transportation vehicle. The chassis has an attachment region. The dumpster portion has an enclosure that is adapted for receiving refuse. The portable toilet housing portion is removably attachable to the attachment region to form a dumpster and portable toilet system. The portable toilet housing portion has a recess formed therein that is adapted to receive a portable toilet. The transportation vehicle has a hoist mechanism for placing the dumpster and portable toilet system onto the transportation vehicle and moving the dumpster and portable toilet system off of the transportation vehicle.
Motorized Wheelbarrow
A motorized wheelbarrow including a motor and a drive pulley that rotates when the motor is operating. The motorized wheelbarrow also includes wheels and a drive train assembly for transmitting power from the motor to the wheels. The motorized wheelbarrow also includes a clutch assembly movable between a connected condition, in which the motor and the drive train assembly are connected by the clutch assembly, and a disconnected condition, in which the motor and the drive train assembly are not connected with each other, and a brake assembly movable between an engaged condition, in which the brake assembly resists rotation of the wheels, and a disengaged condition, in which the brake assembly does not resist rotation of the wheels. Both of the clutch assembly and the brake assembly are controlled by a single control assembly so that the clutch assembly and the brake assembly are mutually functionally exclusive.
