Dump truck bed with a chain adherent release device
The present invention is a dump truck with a bed with a chain adherent release device, wherein the bed has a bottom and two side walls, an inside configured to hold materials, a front wall and a back edge. The bed has a lifted position and a flat, unlifted position. Attached inside the bed is a chain adherent release device which has two bed side chains positioned proximate and parallel to the side walls, at least one bed inner chain spaced between the side chains, and at least one bed cross chain approximately perpendicular to the bed side chains, attached to the side chains and positioned between the front and back of the bed, but not attached to the bottom of the bed. The chains have a sufficient length to have direct contact with the bottom of the bed, and to lie in the bottom of the bed when the bed is in in the flat and unlifted position.
Haul truck body and a method for manufacturing a haul truck body
The invention relates to a haul truck body, comprising a front wall and two opposing side walls. Each side wall presenting an inner surface and an upper edge portion extending rearwardly from a rear end of side wall towards the front wall. Also, each side wall presents an upper reinforcement element which is integrally formed with the side wall and extends along the upper edge portion of the side wall. The invention also relates to a truck and a method for manufacturing a haul truck body.
Utility, farm, and garden dump wagon unloading facilitator
The unloading facilitator of the present invention includes a shaped unloading facilitator and grab-strap. The unloading facilitator is designed to fit into utility, farm and garden dump wagons and is shaped to conform to the body of the utility, farm and garden dump wagons and to overlap the top edge of the dump wagons. The overlap design stabilizes the unloading facilitator while material is loaded into the dump wagons. The unloading facilitator is used for removing all the material from the dump wagons when the dump wagons are in the dumping position. When material-loaded dump wagons are placed in the dumping position, most of the material remains in the dump wagons because the material stops sliding out as soon as the material contacts the ground. Presently all material would have be removed manually with a shovel, rake or garden hoe.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING LINING ELEMENTS AND THE LIKE
A method for attaching lining elements to a structure exposed to wear using an interface engagement fastening arrangement is disclosed. The method involves the steps of attaching strips or sheets provided with a first part of the interface engagement fastening arrangement to a mounting surface of the structure; providing lining elements to the exposed first part of the interface engagement fastening arrangement so that these parts are inter-engaged. By this engagement of the first and second parts of the interface engagement fastening arrangement, the aimed-at lining element mounting is obtained.
Dump body front wall heating channel
A heating channel for a front wall of a dump body comprises an exhaust inlet provided on the front wall; an exhaust outlet provided on the front wall; and a channel body running continuously from the exhaust inlet to the exhaust outlet. The channel body can have at least one horizontally extending portion and at least one vertically extending portion in a front view of the front wall. The exhaust inlet can be configured to receive exhaust gas output from an internal combustion engine, and the exhaust outlet can be configured to output the received exhaust gas to outside the heating channel.
Half-round trailer
A trailer includes a chassis with at least one axle including left and right wheel and tire assemblies that support the chassis for rolling movement on a surface. A body is supported on the chassis and includes: (i) left and right sidewalls spaced apart from each other and respectively located on opposite left and right lateral sides of the body; (ii) a curved floor that extends between the left and right sidewalls; (iii) a bulkhead located at a front end of the body and extending between the left and right sidewalls; (iv) a tailgate located a rear end of the body and extending between the left and right sidewalls, the tailgate movable relative to the left and right sidewalls between an opened position and a closed position; (v) an open-top cargo space for containing an associated bulk commodity defined between the left and right sidewalls, the floor, the bulkhead, and the tailgate, wherein a dump opening of the cargo space is defined between the left and right sidewalls and is blocked by the tailgate when the tailgate is in its closed position and is at least partially unblocked when the tailgate is in its opened position. The bulkhead includes a one-piece aluminum alloy bulkhead sheet formed into a three-panel shape comprising a left panel, a right panel, and a central panel. The bulkhead includes opposite inner and outer sides, with the inner side oriented toward the cargo space. A respective obtuse angle is defined between the central panel and each of the left and right panels on the inner side of the bulkhead.
TRUCK BED TECHNOLOGY
The invention provides a multi-layer truck bed. The truck bed includes a frame, a layer of backer plates, and a layer of non-slip plates. The frame is under the layer of backer plates, the layer of backer plates is under the layer of non-slip plates. The truck bed is elongated in a first direction. The frame includes a plurality of metal crossmembers extending crosswise to the first direction. The backer plates are formed of a first metal, and the non-slip plates are formed of a second metal. The first metal has a higher strength than the second metal. In some embodiments, the invention provides a truck that includes the truck bed and has a material handler mounted thereon, and the material handler includes a boom.
