Modular truck bed mounting apparatus and kit therefor
The present invention is modular truck bed mounting apparatus and kit therefor. The apparatus comprises a length of E-track, a first tube, a plurality of second tubes, and a plurality of fasteners. The apparatus is preferably mounted to the head wall of a pickup truck bed and is useful in quickly and easily securing objects thereto.
Mobility securement system
A mobility securement system, and method configured to secure a wheelchair or other mobility device, and its passenger, within a public or private vehicle. In various embodiments, the system includes one or two attachment members, one or two vehicle anchor assemblies and, potentially, at least one fixed or moveable bumper, and may further include a barrier. A tensioning assembly is operably connected to at least one attachment member and vehicle anchor assembly. One or more moveable bumpers are configured to articulate to apply a force against the mobility device, and one attachment member may be hidden behind a stored position of a moveable bumper.

Stake Pocket Chain Tie-Down
A stake pocket chain tie-down for a trailer or truck bed which is insertable into a stake pocket through an uppermost opening of the stake pocket. The stake pocket tie-down provides for connection of a load restraining chain to the trailer or truck bed. The stake pocket tie-down comprises an insert that is made of metal and dimensioned to fit securely within the interior of the stake pocket, and the insert has four sides and is closed by an end plate on at least one end. The end plate has a hole therethrough for passage of a chain. The insert has a pin and a hook or tab structure therein for the attachment of the end of the chain.
Occupancy Sensor for Wheeled Mobility Device Restraint
An occupancy sensor is provided for detecting the occupancy status of a wheeled mobility device securement system. The occupancy sensor may additionally confirm adequate tightness of the wheeled mobility device securement system and/or provide an indication of the magnitude of tightness. In one embodiment, the occupancy sensor comprises a spring-loaded follower that breaks the straight-line path of a wheeled mobility device tie down as it travels between two touch points. The follower is displaceable from an extended position to a compressed position in response to the magnitude of tension applied to the tie down. Proximity sensors are used to detect the displacement distance of the follower, thereby providing an indication of occupancy, adequate securement, and/or the magnitude of tension.
