Load binder
A load binder includes: a body; a slotted spool rotatably attached to the body and about which a strap can be coiled; a ratchet mechanism coupled to the body and spool and including a shaft and a button, the shaft being adapted, by virtue of a hexagon head, to be turned, the ratchet mechanism, being adapted, when the shaft is turned, to rotate the spool, and being further adapted, when the button is depressed, to release the spool for free rotation; and a wrench, releasably secured to the body, and adapted, when released from the body, to engage the hexagon head of the shaft.
Tie Down Apparatus and System
A tie down system having a first attachment member having an engagement portion adapted to engage with a portion of a track, a second attachment member having an engagement portion adapted to engage with a portion of the track, the second attachment member rotatably attached relative to the first attachment member, a cam member rotatably attached relative to the first attachment member, and rotatable between a biased position in which the cam member engages with a portion of the track and a release position in which the cam member is disengaged from the track, and a connection portion adapted to connect to a strap, wherein the first and second attachment members are rotatable relative to each other between an engagement position in which the engagement portions engage with the track and inhibit movement of the attachment members relative to the track, and an open position in which the attachment members are movable relative to the track.
Floating Load Tension Assembly With High Visibilty
A load tension assembly comprising an enclosure formed by a first side and a second side opposite to the first side and connected to the first side at a first end and a second, wherein the enclosure includes a primary float capability great enough to maintain floatation of the load tension assembly, is disclosed herein.
LOAD BINDER
A load binder for securing a load for transport comprising a T-shaped handled connected to a first end of a lever arm, a primary hook connected to a first end of a U-shaped arm, the U-shaped arm and the lever arm connected via a first planar hinge mechanism at a second end of the U-shaped arm and a second end of the lever arm, a clip connected to the lever arm which aligns with the first end of the U-shaped arm while the U-shaped arm lies on top of the lever arm, a secondary arm and the lever arm connected via a second planar hinge mechanism to a first end of the secondary arm, an inner adjustment member connected to a second end of the secondary arm, an outer adjustment member which may be threaded into the inner adjustment member at a first end of the outer adjustment member and a secondary hook connected to the outer adjustment member at a second end of the outer adjustment member.
Tension Lock Assembly For Chain Tie Down Assembly
A universal chain tie down assembly includes an anchor base and an associated turret, with a cannon pivotally connected to the turret. The proximal portion of a tensioning rod is associated with the cannon. The tensioning rod further includes a distal portion associated with a hub, along with a tool attachment portion that is configured for engagement by a tool for rotation of the tensioning rod. First and second arms of a constant tensioning device extend from proximal ends associated with the hub to distal ends spaced distally of the hub. A chain is associated with a distal end of the constant tensioning device, such as by being linked to the curved portion of a U-bolt of the constant tensioning device. A tension lock assembly and/or an anti-vibration assembly may be employed to prevent a vibration-induced change in the tension in the universal chain tie down assembly.
Cam buckle
Provided is a cam buckle including a body having at least one slot, and a cam arm movably coupled to and pivotable relative to the body. The cam arm has teeth for engaging a webbing and at least one boss for engaging the at least one slot. The cam arm is biased in an unlocked position where the teeth are configured to engage the webbing, and the cam arm is movable to a locked position where the teeth are configured to be disengaged from the webbing and the at least one boss is held in the at least one slot.
Load hold-down device with retractable strap
A retractable strap load tie-down device includes a housing containing a tubular spool with a flat helical spring in its interior and a flexible tie-down strap wrapped on its exterior. The housing also includes a frame journaling a tensioning shaft for rotation where the tensioning shaft includes a slot through which the strap passes. Keyed to the end portions of the shaft are ratchet wheels and associate with the ratchet wheels are pawls that engage and disengage from the teeth of the ratchet wheels by action of a handle mounted, squeezable release bar that selectively displaces slide rods leading to the pawls. The handle will selectively rotate the tensioning shaft depending on the engagement of the pawls with the ratchet wheels. Swinging of the handle through an arc will tension the strap when the free end of the strap is anchored.
Strap Winder Lock
A strap winder for a ratchet cargo strap, having a rotating spool for receiving a strap and a winding arm and knob to rotate the spool and wind up a strap on the spool. A sliding locking pin on the winding arm and knob locks the spool from rotation to retain a stored strap on the spool and a plurality of locking apertures in the strap winder frame receive the locking pin to lock the arm and spool from rotation.
A lock tab on the winding arm engages a lock on the knob when the locking pin is inserted into locking aperture on rotated to a locked position.
Tie down strap system
A tie down strap system is provided. The system includes a first flexible strap, a first hook disposed on the first flexible strap, a pair of adjusters disposed on the first flexible strap on each side of the first hook, a first connector attached to a first end of the first flexible strap, and a second connector attached to a second end of the first flexible strap. The system may be used to secure an item, such as a two-wheeled vehicle, to an object, such as a bed of a tow vehicle.
