Anti-slip Safety Tensioning Device for Automobile
An anti-slip safety tensioning device for automobile, comprises a driving handle assembly, an eccentric shaft, a support assembly, a long band and a short band; wherein, the driving handle assembly is located between a pair of support lateral plates of the support assembly, and can be rotatable relative to the eccentric shaft; and when the driving handle assembly is folded, the eccentric shaft is located on a rear side of the top shaft and the eccentric bulge of the eccentric shaft faces the top shaft; the long band having a free end wrapped around the eccentric shaft, and the free end passes through the gap between the eccentric shaft and the top shaft. When in unfolded state, there is a largest gap between the top shaft and the eccentric shaft.
Vehicle integrated fastening system
A fastening device integrated into a vehicle to fasten a cargo including a strap assembly with a strap, and a hook affixed to a first extremity of the strap, a shaft assembly affixed to a second extremity of the strap to roll the strap, a ratchet assembly to prevent rotation of the shaft assembly in an unrolling direction when engaged, a handle assembly to engage and force the ratchet assembly to rotate, a housing assembly affixed to the body of the vehicle to support the shaft assembly, and the handle assembly, a head cover to cover the shaft assembly, the ratchet assembly, and the housing assembly and provide access to the handle assembly, a neck cover that protrudes downwardly from the head cover to receive the strap and the hook, wherein the handle assembly is articulable to engage the ratchet assembly and tighten the strap around the cargo.
SMA ACTUATED RESTRAINT ASSEMBLY
A restraint assembly includes a base member, a pawl, a lock member, and an actuator assembly. The base member has a first side plate spaced apart from a second side plate. The pawl is pivotally coupled to the first side plate and the second side plate by a first pin. The lock member is pivotally coupled to the first side plate and the second side plate by a second pin. The actuator assembly includes a first shape memory alloy actuator that is drivably connected to the pawl and a second shape memory alloy actuator that is drivably connected to the lock member.
Lead strap and pulley tie down assembly
A first adjuster portion joined to a second adjuster portion whereby the first adjuster portion is oriented to receive one of multiple loops of strap and said second adjuster buckle is oriented to receive an opposing lead strap. The multiple loops of strap are routed so as to create mechanical advantage by pulling on the free end of the strap, commonly referred to as a block and tackle. The lead strap enables an operator to quickly and conveniently pre-tension both the block and tackle and lead straps by removing an un-tensioned length of the lead strap before having to apply increased leverage through the block and tackle strap. That is, the first adjuster arrangement may be operated only to tension a block and tackle strap that has been pre-tensioned with the second adjuster, thereby facilitating the use of the combined assembly.
Adjustable lever load binder
A lever load binder which provides fine adjustments for accommodation of the length of the tiedown chain without twisting of the tiedown chain or binder, increased efficiency of use, and improved safety.
Assembly for automatically securing a mail item
Disclosed is an assembly for automatically securing at least one mail item on a transport tray, the assembly including the mail item and the transport tray, on which the mail item can be placed, and a fixing arrangement designed to secure the mail item on the transport tray, wherein the assembly for lowering and raising the transport tray in a height-adjusting manner is designed in such a way that, by lowering the transport tray into a loading position, the distance between the fixing arrangement and the transport tray is increased in such a way that, in the loading position, the mail item can be placed on the transport tray between said transport tray and the fixing arrangement, and is designed in such a way that, by raising the transport tray from the loading position, the distance between the fixing arrangement and the transport tray is reduced in such a way that the fixing arrangement comes to rest on the mail item in order to secure the mail item against falling off from the transport tray. Due to the proposed assembly, it is ensured that, during transport, for example over a distance of several hundred meters, the mail item cannot fall off from the transport tray and thus be lost.
Tensioning device
A tensioning device uses two perpendicular gears so that common hand tool such as wrenches or socket wrenches can be used to drive the gears to rotate a barrel having two oppositely threaded apertures. Shafts having complementary threads inserted into the threaded apertures and means for connecting chain, wire rope, cable, or straps will be extended or retracted when tools rotate the driving gear. End effectors on the shafts include hooks or clevises for securing cargo, pads for use as a jack, and ball ends for use as an adjustable mechanical linkage such as the top link of a three-point agricultural hitch. Load locks can secure the threaded shafts from unwanted rotation while in transit or in other service.

WINDING ASSEMBLY WITH INTUITIVE HANDLE ACTUATION
A winding assembly (16) comprising: a tensioner (37) to engage a tensioning line (10); a lever (19) comprising a fulcrum body (21) and an elongate handle (20) extending from the fulcrum body (21); a drive linkage (18, 18A, 18B, 42, 42A, 42B, 53) coupling actuation of the lever (20) to motion of the tensioner (37); and a retainer (70, 70) configured to be engaged following actuation of the lever (20) in a first, tensioning direction, to prevent movement of the lever (20) in a second, opposite direction.
Bone Plate System and Method
A bone plate system for securing a plurality of bones is provided including a plate member, a locking device of the bone plate, and a surgical cable having a trailing end for being connected to the bone plate and a leading end for being advanced around the bones and into the locking device. The surgical cable may be tensioned to approximate the bones, urge the bones together, and seat the bone plate against the bones. The locking device may be reconfigured to a locked configuration to fix the bone plate to the surgical cable. The bone plate further includes a plurality of throughbores for receiving bone anchors that rigidly fix the bone plate to the bones. The bone plate system utilizes the tensile strength of the surgical cable and the rigid fixation between the bone anchors and the bone plate to resist relative movement of the bones.
