A lashing aid device for attachment to a corner of a frame encompassing a container is disclosed. The lashing aid device includes a frame fixation unit, a securing surface forming a path for a strap, and a pair of first rims formed on opposite sides of the securing surface to align the path therebetween on the securing surface. The pair of first rims includes one or more lips protruding in a direction perpendicular to the path.

A system includes a coil contacting base. The coil contacting base includes a radially curved outer surface with a radius of curvature less than or equal to a coil radius of curvature of an interior channel of a coil of spoolable pipe, and the coil contacting base includes a length greater than or equal to an axial dimension of the coil. The system also includes a side wall coupled to an inner surface of the coil contacting base. The side wall is configured to block circumferential movement of a coil restraint. The system also includes a passage disposed between the coil contacting base and the side wall. The coil restraint is configured to be disposed in the passage.

A system includes a coil contacting base. The coil contacting base includes a radially curved outer surface with a radius of curvature less than or equal to a coil radius of curvature of an interior channel of a coil of spoolable pipe, and the coil contacting base includes a length greater than or equal to an axial dimension of the coil. The system also includes a side wall coupled to an inner surface of the coil contacting base. The side wall is configured to block circumferential movement of a coil restraint. The system also includes a passage disposed between the coil contacting base and the side wall. The coil restraint is configured to be disposed in the passage.

An anchor device for a cargo securement strap includes a frame configured to engage a mounting track. The anchor device further includes a hook receiver coupled to the frame. The hook receiver is configured to receive a hook of the cargo securement strap. The anchor device further includes a keeper coupled to the frame. The keeper includes a keeper body and at least one keeper finger extending from a side of the keeper body. The keeper is configured to move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the at least one keeper finger contacts a bolt and the keeper body is positioned to retain the hook. In the second position, the keeper body is positioned to allow for removal of the hook from the hook receiver.

A strap assembly device is used to maintain engagement between the strap and the strap anchor point. The strap assembly device works by creating a loop to prevent the fastening hook on the strap from slipping. The strap assembly device is looped through a strap anchor point and the fastening hook is engaged to the anchor point. A portion of the strap extends beyond the fastening hook through the anchor point. The strap creates a loop by using a fastening system. The fastening system is generated by a male and female portion being joined. Either the male or female portion of the fastening system is located on the medial portion of the strap (portion before the hook). The other portion of the fastening system, male or female, is located on the lateral portion of the strap (portion extending beyond the hook). Once the fastening hook is engaged with the strap anchor point on the vehicle, the male and female portions of the fastening systems are joined. This union of the male and female fastening systems disallows the fastening hook from becoming disengaged from the strap anchor point.

A cargo strap system for inhibiting a cargo strap from flying freely on a vehicle includes a vehicle. The vehicle selectively supports an object thereby facilitating the object to be transported. At least one cargo strap is removably coupled to the vehicle. The at least one cargo strap is selectively extended over the object thereby securing the object to the vehicle. The at least one cargo strap has a free end when the at least one cargo strap is extended over the object. A retention unit is removably coupled to the at least one cargo strap. The retention unit engages the free end of the cargo strap. Thus, the retention unit inhibits the free end from flying freely when the vehicle is driven.

A cargo protection device and method for use on a ratchet tie-down or other cargo securing device. The cargo protection device comprises a tubular sleeve through which a ratchet tie-down can thread through. The sleeve comprises an opening in its side wall through which the ratchet handle can exit the sleeve and be accessed and actuated by a user. In use, the sleeve protects the cargo from abrasion while the cargo is being secured or transported.

A ratchet strap containment bag with elastic openings at two opposing ends, through which tensioned portions of the ratchet strap may pass.

A flexible lifting member protection pad includes a cut protection area with strengthening stitching which cooperates with an inner ply and an outer ply to bind the inner ply and the outer ply together in the cut protection area, such that the inner ply, outer ply and strengthening stitching act and move as one piece to increase the combined cutting resistance of the cut protection area. The strengthening stitching is distributed or applied systematically across substantially the entire cut protection area. This configuration allows compression to be generated across the inner ply of the cut protection area when the protection pad is moved against the edge of the load, whereby the inner ply of the cut protection area resists being cut by the edge of the load.

A protective ratchet sleeve is provided for protecting cargo from damage caused by a vibrating ratchet tie down during transport. The protective sleeve also protects the ratchet tie down from exposure to the elements, thus extending ratchet life. The protective ratchet sleeve defines three openings and envelopes the ratchet.
