The tail light assembly includes a housing defining an inner surface of the tail light assembly affixed to the body of the motor vehicle by a fastener, a bracket disposed in the housing, a light source affixed to the bracket, an inner lens overlaying the light source, an opaque lens extension extending from a distal end of the inner lens obscuring the bracket and housing from a view rearward of the motor vehicle, and an outer lens overlaying the inner lens and the opaque lens extension.
FASTENING ELEMENT
A fastening element for connecting a first component to a second component may have a pin-like connecting element with a first fastening region and a second fastening region. The fastening element may also have a sleeve which is configured for insertion into a receiving opening of the first component. The fastening element may also have a compensation element which is provided with a receptacle for receiving the first fastening region and which is configured for insertion and adjustment in a longitudinal direction in the sleeve. At least one drive interface may be provided on the compensating element by which the compensating element can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction in the sleeve.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION METHOD
A vehicle lighting assembly installation method includes, among other things, coupling an outer panel of a vehicle to a body structure of the vehicle, biasing a lighting assembly outward away from the body structure toward the outer panel, and securing the lighting assembly to the body structure during the biasing. A vehicle assembly includes, among other things, a body structure of a vehicle, an outer panel secured to the body structure, a lighting assembly secured to the body structure, and a biasing member that biases the lighting assembly outward away from the body structure toward the outer panel when securing the lighting assembly to the body structure.
FASTENING ELEMENT
A fastening element for connecting a first component to a second component. The fastening element may have a pin-like connecting element having a first fastening region and a second fastening region. The fastening element may also have a retaining element having a fastening portion which is provided with a receptacle for receiving the first fastening region. The retaining element may be configured for fastening in a cutout of the first component. The second fastening region may have a portion for engaging in a receptacle of the second component. A drive interface may be provided on the connecting element so that the connecting element held in the receptacle is movable.
Tail light assembly
A motor vehicle includes a body component defining a trunk and a trunk gutter, a weather strip attached is a distal end of the trunk gutter, a trunk lid adapted to be disposed in the trunk gutter when in a closed position, and a tail light assembly affixed to the body component.
Motor Vehicle
A motor vehicle has a body, a vehicle part, and a spring bolt for fastening the vehicle part in a receptacle of the body. The rotational axis of the spring bolt is arranged in such a way that it has exactly one point of intersection with an XY plane of the motor vehicle.
Vehicle taillamp assembly
A vehicle taillamp assembly includes an attachment bracket and a lamp housing. The attachment bracket is configured for secure attachment to a vehicle body structure. The attachment bracket has an upright extending portion, an upper horizontally extending portion and a lower horizontally extending portion. The upright extending portion has a first projection extending therefrom and a second projection extending therefrom. The lamp housing is configured to attach to the first projection and the second projection.
Fender-to-grille turn signal relocation kit
An aftermarket vehicle turn signal assembly and a method of retrofitting the turn signal assembly to a grille of a vehicle are disclosed. The turn signal assembly enables users to customize their vehicles by repositioning a turn signal from a factory original fender location, for example, to an aftermarket opening formed on the grille. Using special drill templates designed for a specific vehicle, a user can locate a position for a hole, and later drill a hole into the grille of a vehicle. A user can then insert an aftermarket turn signal assembly into the hole, and secure the turn signal assembly to the grill. The user can then remove the factory original turn signal light source from the original fender location, and place the light source within the aftermarket turn signal assembly.
