An illuminated safety helmet assembly for indicating turns and braking includes a shell that is substantially complementary to a helmet. The helmet is configured to couple to a head of a user and the shell is configured to couple to the helmet. A first power module is coupled to the shell. A first light, positioned on a right side of the shell, and a second light, positioned on a left side of the shell, are coupled proximate to a back of the shell. A third light is coupled to and is centrally positioned on the back of the shell. A controller, coupled to the shell, is operationally coupled to the first power module, the first light, the second light, and the third light. The controller is configured to selectively operationally couple the first light, the second light, and the third light to the first power module.

Receivers in illuminated articles, such as helmet, backpack, jacket, vest, race suit, gloves, boots, and other gear receive signaling information from the transmitter, such as left and right turn signaling and braking of the motorcycle or vehicle. Colored LEDs or other lighting in the illuminated articles mirror the signaling of the motorcycle or vehicle. Left and right gloves and boots may have respective left and right LED turn signal indicators. A pushbutton on each illuminated article synchs the article with the signaling system of the vehicle. The illuminated articles and can sense an emergency through position or by separation from the vehicle and activate emergency flashers, sound, and emergency contacts through a phone. The system batteries also have hazard protection.

The luminous sensing unit measures outdoor lighting conditions and provides a feedback signal to the control unit. The tilt calculator unit configured to calculate a tilt angle between axes of a vehicle to a surface and sends one or more data on the tilt angle to the control unit. The analyzer unit configured to process one or more neuron behaviors of a user, and provides the one or more neural activities to the control unit. The control unit generates an output signal via the one or more display.

Safety Device

Disclosed is a system for providing vehicle indicator lights, such as brake lights for a bicycle or motorcycle. The system may include at least one indicator light, a gyroscopic sensor, an accelerometer, a power supply, and a signal processing unit that receives inputs from the gyroscopic sensor and the accelerometer and activates an indicator light based on inputs from the sensors. Various algorithmic functions and other features may also be included in the system to make detection more robust and the make the system useable for a variety of different vehicle applications.
