Vehicle mirror device
Deformation of an assembly portion side portion of a rotating portion is suppressed in a rotating mechanism. In a vehicle door mirror device, a case rotates with respect to an assembly portion of a stand on actuation of a stowage mechanism, thereby rotating a bracket and a mirror integrally with the case. The case is housed inside a housing sleeve of the bracket from the lower side. A reinforcement is fixed to the lower side of the case, the reinforcement thereby restricting deformation of a lower side portion of the case. Vibration deformation of the lower side portion of the case due for example to vibration of the vehicle can accordingly be suppressed, enabling the occurrence of chattering of the mirror to be suppressed.
Exterior rearview mirror assembly for vehicle
An exterior rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror head pivotally mounted at a mounting base configured for attachment at a side of a vehicle, and a camera module disposed at the mirror head and operable to capture image data. The camera module is adjustably disposed at the mirror head and pivots about a generally vertical pivot axis as the camera module is extended and retracted relative to the mirror casing. When extended, the camera module is disposed laterally sideward away from the mirror casing and is pivoted so as to have a rearward field of view, and when retracted, the camera module is disposed at the mirror casing and is pivoted so as to have an outboard field of view that is directed outward away from the side of the vehicle and from the rearward field of view of the camera module when extended.
Exterior installed camera pod stabilization assembly
A camera pod stabilization assembly is provided that includes: an intermediate attachment; wherein the intermediate attachment comprises a first end and a second end, a first protruding member, and a second receiving cavity; a camera arm pivotably coupled to the intermediate attachment at a first end to form a first axis, wherein the camera arm includes a first receiving cavity to receive the first protruding member; and a base pivotably coupled to the intermediate attachment at the second end forms a second axis, wherein the base includes a second protruding member that is received by the second receiving cavity.
Exterior Installed Camera Pod Stabilization Assembly
A camera pod stabilization assembly is provided that includes an intermediate attachment that includes a first end and a second end, a camera arm that is pivotably coupled to the intermediate attachment at the first end via a first pin to form a first axis, and a base that is pivotably coupled to the intermediate attachment at the second end via a second pin to form a second axis. The camera arm is pivotable about the first axis from a first position to a second position between zero degrees and ninety degrees. The camera arm is pivotable about the second axis from the first position to a third position between zero degrees and ninety degrees. A support surface extends from the base, a bracing member extends from the first end of the intermediate attachment, and the support surface and the bracing member cooperate and engage to assist in a transfer of forces from the camera arm to the base when the camera arm is rotated about the first axis from the first position to the second position
UTV side mirror mounting and adjustment system
A UTV side mirror mounting, and adjustment system may be coupled to the sidebar of a UTV chassis. The UTV side mirror mounting, and adjustment system may include a module, multi-component clamp system coupled to the neck of a rotatable ball and socket joint, with the distal end of the rotatable joint being coupled to a hinge. The hinge may be secured to the side mirror, or other peripheral in need of mounting. The modular, multi-component clamp system, rotatable ball and socket joint, and hinge can each be independently adjusted, and secured to modulate and secure the peripheral's position in relation to the chassis sidebar. The modular, multi-component clamp system may secure the UTV side mirror mounting and adjustment system to an adjustable multi-component clamp system, the adjustable multi-component clamp system being coupled to a UTV or other chassis sidebar. The adjustable multi-component clamp system may couple to the sidebar of a UTV chassis via the modular, multi-component clamp system.
ACTUATOR FOR A REAR VIEW DEVICE OF A VEHICLE, REAR VIEW DEVICE AND VEHICLE
An actuator for a rear view device of a vehicle having a body defining a folding axis and an actuator housing being rotatably and axially displaceably supported by the body and a drive assembly. Wherein a clutch gear of the drive assembly is rotatably and axially displaceably supported by the body and has at least one housing catch axially coupling the clutch gear to the actuator housing while allowing a relative rotation of the clutch gear and actuator housing and wherein a shaft section extends along the folding axis and comprises at least one groove circumferentially about a top surface of the shaft section and wherein an interior of an upper portion of the actuator housing comprises at least one slot having at least one pin affixed in at least one slot and engaging at least one of the grooves on the top surface of the shaft section.
