REAR-VIEW STEREO CAMERA SYSTEM

The disclosure relates to a vehicle camera system , including two pairs of cameras. A first pair of cameras is arranged at the left side portion of the vehicle cabin and a second pair of cameras is arranged at the right side portion of the cabin. The cameras of the first and second pair of cameras are arranged one above the other in a vertical direction. The first and second pairs of cameras build rear-viewing stereo camera systems for providing image and distance information of areas on the left and right sides of the vehicle, respectively. The cameras of the first and second pair of cameras are arranged by one or more spacers at the vehicle cabin, the spacers providing a lateral distance of the cameras to the vehicle cabin. The cameras of each pair of cameras have a vertical distance of at least 0.5 m

CUSTOMIZATION OF VEHICLE-RELATED IMAGES

A method for a driver assistant image customization of vehicle-related images, a data processing circuit, a computer program, a computer-readable medium, and a vehicle, can include, with at least one sensing device of the vehicle, obtaining an input image to be customized. With at least one human-machine-interface of the vehicle or connected thereto an input determining at least one customization scheme to be performed is received. Using at least one data processing circuit of the vehicle applying artificial intelligence the input image is transformed according to the at least one customization scheme into a transformed output image. With at least one smart mirror of the vehicle or a mobile device connected to the at least one data processing circuit the transformed output image is outputted. The at least one customization scheme includes a plurality of different types of adaptation modes.

Rear view system for a vehicle

The present disclosure refers to a rear view system for a vehicle, comprising a rear view device comprising at least one camera module and/or at least one reflective element, wherein the rear view device is configured to be mounted to the vehicle, in particular to a door or a body of the vehicle, in order to capture a field-of-view (FOV) in a scenery at least around a rear part of the vehicle and to be moved between at least two states relative to the door and/or the body of the vehicle, in particular between a folded and unfolded state, characterized by a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor for emitting at least one light signal, and a processing unit for determining at least one of the states of the rear view device when the rear view device is mounted to the vehicle, wherein the ToF sensor is configured to be mounted to the rear view device or to the vehicle separate from the rear view device, and wherein the processing unit is configured to operate the ToF sensor to emit the at least one light signal towards the FoV of the rear view device in case the ToF sensor is mounted to the rear view device or towards the rear view device in case the ToF sensor is mounted separate from the rear view device and to determine the at least one state of the rear view device based on the at least one light signal. It also refers to a vehicle with such a rear view system.
