Shelving arrangement for a vehicle
A vehicle includes a cargo area defined by opposing interior sidewalls, each of the sidewalls having a mount formed therein and a shelving arrangement defining a storage receptacle. The arrangement has a rigid top panel with extendable wings configured to engage the mounts to support and suspend the arrangement within the cargo area. The arrangement further has collapsible walls attached with the top panel such that in an expanded position, the storage receptacle is disposed underneath the panel.
AUTOMATED RIGID TONNEAU COVER
A retractable cover system includes laterally spaced apart guide rails that each provide a track. A drive assembly includes a motor operatively connected to a gear. A cover has multiple slats configured to interlock with one another in a deployed configuration. The slats cooperate with the gear and are slidable in the tracks between first and second positions within the opening in response to actuation of the drive system. The slats are stacked onto one another in a stowed configuration. A method of servicing a retractable cover system includes the step of removing an access cover from a magazine to expose a cavity housing stacked rigid slats. A method of retracting a tonneau cover includes the steps of actuating a handle and decoupling the tonneau cover from a drive mechanism.
INTERIOR MODULE FOR A CARGO SPACE OF A VEHICLE, A CARGO SPACE CLADDING AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN INTERIOR MODULE
An interior module for a cargo space of a vehicle having a guide rail in which a guide member of an adjustable cargo space cover can be guided between a first and a second wall, wherein the first wall is formed at least in sections by a section element, and wherein the guide rail has at least a first locking section for locking the guide member in a first locking position. Furthermore, a cargo space cladding for a cargo space of a vehicle and a manufacturing method for manufacturing an interior module is provided.
Motor vehicle and a multi-functional cover for same
A motor vehicle is disclosed having a flexible cover that is multi-functional in nature and can be configured as a cover for a rear luggage compartment of the motor vehicle as a small item carrier, as an extendible weather protector and as a roof protector for the motor vehicle.
SYSTEM FOR COVERING THE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention is a system for covering a luggage compartment having two lateral supports and a front panel pivotably connected to the supports, A rear panel is also pivotably connected to the lateral supports A carriage is slidably mounted on a longitudinal guide rail rigidly connected to a first of the supports. Two cable sections each having an end associated, respectively, with either side of the carriage, and being kept permanently tensioned along a longitudinal axis is also included with a wheel actuated by a motor. The wheel is rigidly connected to the sections in order to allow one or the other, as desired, to be pulled in a longitudinal direction, in order to move the carriage forwards or backwards in order to move the panels to allow access to the compartment or to cover it.
Vehicle rear assembly
A rear vehicle assembly having: two side trims intended to laterally bound a trunk, and a tray, movable relative to the side trims between a concealing position and a storage position. The tray includes at least one first panel, and one second panel linked to the first panel, defining two side edges of the tray. Each side trim defines a guide path for the tray. The tray includes at least one hinge articulating the first panel to the second panel, such that the side edge of the tray is adapted to cooperate with a respective guide path. And the rear vehicle assembly includes a driving mechanism adapted to drive the tray from the concealing position to the storage position.
Locking seal device
A locking device for a covering member to provide sealing in storage, cargo, and other personal applications is disclosed. The locking device comprises a pipe member having predetermined length is configured to have a transverse opening. The covering member is slidably attached to a bead insert positioned inside the pipe member via the transverse opening, wherein the covering member is configured to securely wrap the contents of a storage space. The locking device is configured to enable a climate controlled environment for the wrapped contents of the storage space. A locking assembly and method of using the same is also disclosed.
SYSTEM FOR COVERING A MOTOR-VEHICLE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
The invention relates to a system for covering a motor-vehicle luggage compartment having two lateral supports a front panel pivotably connected to the supports, a rear panel pivotably connected to the supports about a second transverse shaft, and a hinge being a third transverse single rotation shaft. Each end of the second shaft is slidably guided along two guide rails (10) mounted on each of the supports. The rear end of each of the rails positioned such that, when the panels are in the position in which they cover the compartment, a forward force exerted on the second shaft rotates the panels so that they move into the position in which they provide access to the compartment.
TONNEAU SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A PICKUP TRUCK
A tonneau system for use with a pickup truck. The tonneau system includes a frame and a tonneau cover having a plurality of tonneau sections. The tonneau cover includes solar energy-receiving material secured to a top exposed surface of at least two of the tonneau sections, which are pivotally connected to each other. The solar energy-receiving material of one tonneau section is electrically coupled to the solar energy-receiving material of the other tonneau section. Optionally, the system may further include energy storage system electrically coupled to the solar energy-receiving material for storing and deploying power generated by the solar energy-receiving material.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR
Protective device for a vehicle interior with a flexible protective structure, which can be moved between a position of rest compactly stowed in the region of a supporting structure and a deployed protection position, with a dimensionally stable end profile which is provided at a front end region of the protective structure in the deployment direction The protective structure is formed as a folded leporello structure from a plurality of profile sections extending transversely to the deployment direction and adjoining each other in the deployment direction and joined together by fold lines.
