Tool bar mounting assembly for an agricultural implement

A tool bar mounting assembly for an agricultural implement. One agricultural implement includes a first tool bar assembly having a tool bar and a plurality of row units coupled to the tool bar and configured to deliver flowable agricultural product to a field. The agricultural implement also includes a frame assembly coupled to the first tool bar assembly. The frame assembly includes a mounting assembly having a mechanical linkage. The mechanical linkage is configured to removably couple the first tool bar assembly to the frame assembly via a plurality of fasteners. The frame assembly is configured to provide structural support to the first tool bar assembly. The mechanical linkage of mounting assembly is configured to removably couple a second tool bar assembly having a different configuration than the first tool bar assembly to the frame assembly via the plurality of fasteners.

IMPLEMENT DETECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM

One or more sensors identify a characteristic of a towed implement using non-visual electromagnetic radiation, auditory detection or temperature detection. The characteristic of the implement is compared to a reference characteristic to determine whether the implement has a problem. If so, control signals are generated to control a controllable subsystem based upon the identified problem.

LOAD-DEPENDENT TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SUCH

A trailer brake system that generates load-dependent braking forces. Variable trailer load information is used to generate load-dependent control signals which serve to control an electrically-controlled proportional valve. A load sensing valve serves to modify brake command signals in dependence on a control pressure that is regulated by the proportional valve.

DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A COMBINATION OF AGRICULTURAL VEHICLES

A driver assistance system for controlling a combination of agricultural vehicles including a towing vehicle designed as a tractor and a mounted device, wherein the driver assistance system generates control parameters for the towing vehicle and/or for the mounted device. The driver assistance system has an input/output unit for the dialog with the user. The driver assistance system is formed by a rule interpreter which generates the control parameters by executing the rules of a set of rules, and the driver assistance system has a linking module which receives at least two sets of rules from different data sources and generates, on the basis of the received sets of rules and according to a linkage specification, the set of rules to be executed by the rule interpreter

Articulated apparatus for towing a rotary driven implement from a towing vehicle

An articulated towing apparatus pulls a rotary driven implement in a forward working direction across a ground surface behind a towing vehicle. The apparatus includes a longitudinal frame pivotally connected at a leading end to the towing vehicle by a coupling frame and pivotally connected at a trailing end to a wheeled frame that supports the implement thereon. The coupling frame defines lateral and vertical pivot axes between the longitudinal frame and the towing vehicle. A drive line, connected between a power take-off of the towing vehicle and the implement, includes (i) a longitudinal drive shaft extending at a downward slope, and (ii) an output for connection to the implement that is rotatably supported on the wheeled frame.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY LEVELING AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT

A method for automatically leveling an agricultural implement being towed by a work vehicle may generally include monitoring a vehicle inclination angle via at least one vehicle-based sensor supported on the work vehicle, monitoring an implement inclination angle via at least one implement-based sensor supported on the implement, and determining that the work vehicle has begun to travel across an inclined surface based on the vehicle inclination angle. Additionally, the method may include initially adjusting a position of a hitch of the work vehicle in a first direction to maintain the implement inclination angle within a predetermined angular inclination range as the vehicle travels across the inclined surface and adjusting the position of the hitch in a second direction opposite the first direction to maintain the implement inclination angle within the predetermined angular inclination range as at least one ground-engaging component of the implement travels across the inclined surface.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR WORKING MACHINE

A communication system for a working machine includes: a first communication device configured to be attached to a working device detachably disposed on a vehicle body and to transmit, to an outward, device information relating to the working device as a broadcasting signal; and a receiving device having a receiving part configured to receive the device information transmitted in the broadcasting signal.
