A device for automatically adjusting an angle of a monitor on a vehicle seat back includes: a fixation bracket on a front seat back upper-frame; a first rotation bracket on an upper portion of the fixation bracket; a second rotation bracket on a lower portion of the fixation bracket; a monitor on a front surface of the first rotation bracket; a motor on a bottom surface of the second rotation bracket; an angle adjustment bar integrally combined with a rear surface of the first rotation bracket; a lead screw, whose lower portion is connected to an output shaft of the motor, and whose upper portion passes through the second rotation bracket; and an ascending and descending member having a threaded hole such that the ascending and descending member fastened to the lead screw while being fastened to an end portion of the angle adjustment bar.

SEATBACK SPEAKERS

Various implementations include seats and related loudspeakers. In particular cases, a seat includes: a seat headrest portion; a seat backrest portion; and a loudspeaker assembly. The loudspeaker assembly includes at least one driver for generating an acoustic output; and an acoustic exit fixed in the seat backrest portion and angled to provide the acoustic output to a location below a nominal ear position of an occupant of the seat, wherein a firing angle of the at least one driver provides the acoustic output to achieve a consistent frequency response across a range of positions deviating from the nominal ear position.

The system can include a three-point attachment system that provides additional protection against accidental detachment of the display unit, and provide safety in the event of partial dislodging. The system can include a current control pin system that ensures that current is not provided from the docking station to the display unit until the respective connectors have been properly engaged. The system can further include a floating pin connector dock that can allow for installation of the display unit even when the connectors of the display unit and docking station become misaligned. The system can also include a heat dissipation system that employs the docking station to share the heat dissipation load with the display unit.

The object holding device comprises an object holder coupled to an extendable device via a deployment rod and is extended and retracted in and out a map pocket of the vehicle seat. An extendable rod of the extendable device is pivotably connected with the deployment rod and lockable with the deployment rod. At a first position where the deployment rod forms a first angle with the extendable rod, the object holder is changeable at a slanted position and a leveled position to hold an object.

Display system for a vehicle entertainment system

A video display system for a passenger seat of a vehicle. The video display system is configured to be mounted to a seatback of each passenger seat or to other structure such that the system may be utilized by the passenger. The display system includes a video display assembly having a display housing configured to be mounted to structure in the vehicle. A video monitor is housed within the display housing. The video display assembly includes a depending tab portion disposed below the area of the video monitor. The depending tab portion includes a tab display capable of displaying a computer generated graphic and/or information. The display system may also have one or more indicator lights provided adjacent the external edge of the display housing.
