Universal Seatback Mount for Electronic Devices
A system or device for mounting personal electronics such as tablet computers, smart phones, or laptops to seatbacks during travel. The device uses a series of jointed elements to allow for securing the device to a variety of seatbacks commonly found in automobiles, buses, trains, aircraft, and watercraft. The device also allows for personal electronics of varying shapes, sizes, and configurations to be secured to the seatback through the device so that a user may comfortably use his or her personal electronics without interfering with a tray table or requiring the user to hold his or her personal electronic items.
Ski rack for interior of vehicle
A ski rack configured for an interior of a vehicle is described. Embodiments of the ski rack include a main body and at least one strap. The ski rack can be adapted to secure to a backside of a rear seat in a vehicle and receive one or more pairs of skis thereon. The main body of the ski rack can include a front section sloping up to a second flat section. The at least one strap can be located in the second section and can be implemented to secure the pairs of skis to the ski rack.
Seating means with actuators for sound emission
A sound emission arrangement, having a seat that has a backrest surface and a headrest surface, where the sound emission arrangement has at least one first and one second actuator for vibration excitation, where each of the two actuators is arranged in the seat, so that the first and the second actuator are each arranged with their excitation surface on the inner side of a covering of the headrest surface or the inner side of a covering of the backrest surface at substantially the same height.
Holder for detachably fastening a flat device to a motor vehicle seat
The invention relates to a holder (10) for detachably fastening a flat, approximately rectangular device—such as a tablet computer or a smartphone—to a motor vehicle seat (20), wherein the holder has a fastening device (12) for the detachable plug-in fastening of the holder to a plug-in receptacle (18) allocated to the motor vehicle seat, and wherein the holder has a holding device (24) for detachably holding the device to the holder, wherein the fastening device and the holding device are connected to one another via a coupling element (36), wherein the coupling element is connected to the fastening device via a first joint and to the holding device via a second joint, wherein the joints are designed as swivel joints with a first swivel joint (42) and a first swivel axis (38) and with a second swivel joint (44) and a second swivel axis (40), wherein the first swivel axis and the second swivel axis are oriented parallel to one another.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS WITH A MODULAR PERIPHERAL BAR ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHODS THEREOF
Innovative peripheral bar assembly for a transportation vehicle is provided. The assembly includes a front bar housing with a front segment and a rear segment; a rear bar housing with a front segment coupled to the rear segment of the front bar housing; and an input/output (I/O) printed circuit board (“PCB”) having an I/O connector. The I/O PCB coupled to the rear segment of the front bar housing. The assembly is coupled to a chassis of a display system having a display module, and the I/O connector is coupled to a connector of the display module for enabling an electrical connection between the peripheral bar assembly and the display module.
Repair and Replacement Mechanism for Personal Control Units on Aircraft
An assembly for opening or accessing an electronic communication and entertainment device holder for repair or replacement of its contents, including a latch which can be released by the contraction of an attached muscle wire actuator in response to a low current pulse sent by an attached wireless receiver.
Electrical connection system for a seat
An electrical connecting system for a seat, in particular a passenger seat in a means of transportation, including an elongated carrier foil that is provided at least in regions with conductor tracks, the carrier foil having a first section so as to be arranged on a seat frame, a second section so as to be arranged on a backrest that may pivot and a transition section that lies between said first section and second section, wherein the transition section is embodied as V-shaped. As a consequence, an electrical connection may be achieved between an electronic unit that is arranged on a passenger seat and components that are arranged on the passenger seat.
VEHICULAR SEAT
There is described a vehicular seat comprising a back element. The back element comprises: (a) a rigid support element having coupled thereto an anchor element, the anchor element configured to be detachably coupled to an article; and (b) a resilient foam element secured with respect to the rigid support element, the resilient foam element configured to be in contact with the back of an occupant of the vehicular seat. In a preferred embodiment, the article is one or more of an occupant restraint element, a cargo element and an automotive accessory. Advantageously, this combination of elements results in a vehicular seat which is of light weight construction and passes the FMVSS 225 test requirement.
CLAMP-TYPE FITTING SEAT AND HOLDER
Disclosed is a fitting seat which may include an interconnecting piece and a coupling head arranged on the interconnecting piece. Two ends of the interconnecting piece may be bent toward each other to form first clamping parts. Each of the first clamping parts may have a first bending portion and a second bending portion which are bent in opposite direction. When the fitting seat is clamped to two connecting rods, the two second bending portions are abutted and pressed against the two connecting rods so that the fitting seat is able to clamp the connecting rods; meanwhile, the first bending portions may increase the deformability of the fitting seat, making the first clamping parts difficult to break and resulting in good stability and simple structure.
Multifunctional vehicle seating assembly
A multifunctional seating assembly for a vehicle is disclosed herein. The seating assembly includes a base slidably coupled to the vehicle. A storage compartment is defined by the base. A seat is pivotably coupled to the base and is operable to pivot about a first pivot axis that is proximate to a seating assembly-forward end of the seat from a first seat position to a second seat position. A seatback is pivotably coupled to the seat and is operable to pivot about a second pivot axis that is proximate to a seating assembly-rearward end of the seat from a first seatback position to a second seatback position. Movement of the seat from the first seat position to the second seat position provides access to the storage compartment defined by the base.
