VEHICLE SEATS
Vehicle seats that includes: a pair of seatbacks of front seats spaced apart in a vehicle width direction; and a pair of retaining portions provided at rear face sides of the pair of seatbacks, the pair of retaining portions configured to allow a rod-shaped member to span between the seatbacks, the rod-shaped member being grippable by a vehicle occupant sitting at a rear seat middle.
SEATING MEANS WITH ACTUATORS FOR SOUND EMISSION
A sound emission arrangement, having a seat that has a backrest surface and a headrest surface, where the sound emission arrangement has at least one first and one second actuator for vibration excitation, where each of the two actuators is arranged in the seat, so that the first and the second actuator are each arranged with their excitation surface on the inner side of a covering of the headrest surface or the inner side of a covering of the backrest surface at substantially the same height.
Audio system for a vehicle
A passenger seat assembly for a vehicle includes a seat back having a center portion disposed on the upper part of the seat back. The center portion of the seat back includes a receptacle and an audio system selectively disposed in the receptacle and the receptacle includes a retention feature and a battery charge unit.
Method and device for localizing a sensor in a vehicle
A method for localizing a sensor in a vehicle includes using a first sensor mounted on a vehicle to capture at least one image of a moveable element of the vehicle, the moveable element having a predetermined spatial relationship to a second sensor mounted on the vehicle, the moveable element being moveable relative to the first sensor; determining spatial information on the moveable element on the basis of the at least one image; and localizing the second sensor on the basis of the spatial information by a transformation rule representing the predetermined spatial relationship between the moveable element and the second sensor.
Depth sensing infrared input device and associated methods thereof
Methods and systems are provided for a hand tracking device. The hand tracking device includes a first infrared camera for capturing a plurality of images of a user hand indicating a first gesture for requesting a first action associated with operating a display device. The hand tracking device utilizes the plurality of images to generate a three-dimensional image of the user hand; and detects the first gesture from the three-dimensional image using a trained model that stores a plurality of input gestures corresponding to three-dimensional images of user hands. A first operation is executed in response to the detected first gesture. The hand tracking device continuously monitors the user hand to detect a second gesture from the trained model for executing a second operation.
Space-independent coupling antenna
A transport mechanism and an antenna arrangement for facilitating the transmission/reception of a portable wireless communication device temporarily arranged in a passenger compartment of a transport. The antenna arrangement includes a supporting body having a shelf area and a flat antenna having an interface, wherein the shelf area holds the wireless communication terminal, the flat antenna is arranged parallel to the shelf area on or in the supporting body, and the interface connects via a wiring harness of the transport to an external antenna of the transport.
Package Stablizing Device
A package stabilizing device for use in transporting a package in a vehicle includes a bracket assembly that is configured to couple to an element of a vehicle so that an arm of the bracket assembly extends into an interior space of the vehicle. A sling is coupled to and extends from a distal limit of the arm. The sling is configured to position a package so that the package is suspended within the interior space. The sling is configured to swing within the interior space to diminish forces that are applied to contents of the package as the vehicle traverses an uneven surface, accelerates, brakes, and turns.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL VEHICLE SEATING ASSEMBLY
A multifunctional seating assembly for a vehicle is disclosed herein. The seating assembly includes a base slidably coupled to the vehicle. A storage compartment is defined by the base. A seat is pivotably coupled to the base and is operable to pivot about a first pivot axis that is proximate to a seating assembly-forward end of the seat from a first seat position to a second seat position. A seatback is pivotably coupled to the seat and is operable to pivot about a second pivot axis that is proximate to a seating assembly-rearward end of the seat from a first seatback position to a second seatback position. Movement of the seat from the first seat position to the second seat position provides access to the storage compartment defined by the base.
Display device
A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a display panel; a frame positioned in a rear of the display panel and coupled to the display panel; a bottom frame coupled to a lower side of the frame; a plate positioned in a rear of the frame and hinge-coupled to the bottom frame; and a coupler positioned adjacent to an upper side of the frame and between the plate and the frame and enabling the plate to be detachable from the frame.
SEAT ASSEMBLY HAVING INTERCHANGEABLE CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLIES FOR ADJUSTABLE COMFORT SETTINGS
A seat assembly includes a seatback having a cushioned component pivotally coupled to the seatback and operable between deployed and retracted positions. The cushioned component includes an interior cavity. A rack assembly is positioned within the interior cavity and includes a forward-most rack with a first receiving area. The rack assembly further includes a rearward-most rack having a second receiving area. A first cartridge assembly is removeably received in the first receiving area of the rack assembly. A second cartridge assembly is removeably received in the second receiving area of the rack assembly. The rack assembly may also include one or more intermediate rack assemblies positioned between the forward-most and rearward-most rack assemblies for supporting other intermediate cartridge assemblies. Each cartridge assembly includes a different density profile for providing variated comfort settings to the seatback of the seat assembly.
