The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing various types of information to a vehicle driver. Such information can be used by the vehicle driver singularly or in conjunction with other information available to the vehicle driver in order to allow the driver to operate the vehicle in an increasingly safe manner and/or to reduce the likelihood of property damage and/or possible bodily injuries to the driver, etc. In some instances, such information is presented to the driver as an augmented reality environment such that the driver can see through objects that may be occluding the driver's vision.

Installing bracket and electronic device assembly

An installing bracket is configured to be assembled to head support rods of a vehicle seat for installing an electronic device. The installing bracket includes a first locking plate and a second locking plate. The first locking plate includes a first locking portion and a first joint portion having first concaves disposed on a first side of the first joint portion. The second locking plate includes a second locking portion and a second joint portion having second concaves disposed on a second side of the second joint portion. The first locking portion is stacked on the second locking portion and locked to each other. The electronic device is locked to the first locking portion and the second locking portion. The first concaves joint with the respective second concaves to define a plurality of assembly holes for the head support rods to penetrate through.

The technology described in this document can be embodied in a headrest of a seat, the headrest including an enclosure for housing one or more acoustic transducers, and an adjustable headrest wing disposed in front of the enclosure. The headrest wing is coupled to the enclosure by a pivot, and configured to be adjusted to one of multiple positions within an angle range around the pivot. The headrest wing is also configured to support the head of a seat-occupant. The headrest further includes a connector disposed between the enclosure and a rear portion of the headrest wing. The connector is configured to provide an acoustic channel between the enclosure and the headrest wing such that audio signals from the one or more acoustic transducers are radiated outward through the headrest wing.

SEATING ASSEMBLY TO SUPPORT A MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING THE MOBILE COMPUTING DEVICE WITH THE SEATING ASSEMBLY

A method of supporting a mobile computing device in a vehicle comprising: providing a seating assembly disposed in an interior of a vehicle, the seating assembly comprising a seatback and a headrest adjustably coupled to the seatback; placing a mobile computing device between the seatback and the headrest; and adjusting the headrest relative to the seatback such that the seatback and the headrest support the mobile computing device. The seatback can further comprise a first lower support member including an upward extension, wherein, placing a mobile computing device between the seatback and the headrest includes placing the mobile computing device adjacent and forward the upward extension of the first lower support member; and wherein, the upward extension of the first lower support member further supports the mobile computing device. The method can further comprise connecting the mobile computing device to a connection port on the seating assembly.

A cover for a seat having a headrest includes a stabilizing bracket member that enables a secure attachment of an electronic device for use by a passenger behind the seat. In one embodiment, the cover includes a sleeve defining a chamber, a first opening to the chamber, and a second opening to the chamber. The chamber is sized and shaped to at least partially contain the headrest. The first opening is sized and positioned such that at least a portion of the headrest is insertable into the chamber through the first opening. The stablizing bracket member defines an aperture and is attached to the sleeve such that the aperture is aligned with the second opening so that the second opening is unobstructed.

The mounting rod comprises a connector and two connection tubes respectively connected to the left and right ends of the connector, wherein outer ends of the two connection tubes are both connected to a clamping part, an extension spring is provided inside at least one of the connection tubes, and the corresponding clamping part is arranged in a manner of shifting to the left and right relative to the connection tube with the action of the extension spring. The overall structure of the mounting rod is simple and compact and has good stability. By designing the mounting rod as an elastically extending structure, the mounting rod can be directly installed on a vehicle seat headrest metal rod.

A vehicle seat and a quick-release supporting device thereof are provided. The quick-release supporting device includes a limiting member, a carrier, and two engaging structures. The carrier is fastened to the limiting member for carrying an object. The two engaging structures are respectively fastened to two rail holes of the limiting member. Each engaging structure includes an engaging member and a knob. The engaging member has a threaded portion and a positioning fork respectively arranged on two opposite portions thereof, and the threaded portion at least partially protrudes from the corresponding rail hole. The knob is screwed to the threaded portion, so that the engaging member is movable relative to the limiting member for reducing a distance there-between. The two positioning forks can be detachably inserted into two gaps between two headrest clips and a seat back, respectively.
