Vehicular driver monitoring system with driver monitoring camera and near IR light emitter at interior rearview mirror assembly
A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior rearview mirror assembly having a driver monitoring camera and first and second near-infrared light emitting elements accommodated by a mirror head. The light emitting elements are oriented at the mirror head so that (i) a beam of light emitted by the first light emitting element would be directed toward a driver's region of a left hand drive vehicle if the mirror assembly were installed in the LHD vehicle, and (ii) a beam of light emitted by the second light emitting element would be directed toward a driver's region of a right hand drive vehicle if the mirror assembly were installed in the RHD vehicle. The system enables and/or operates the first or second light emitting element for a driver monitoring function responsive to indication that the mirror assembly is installed or will be installed in a LHD vehicle or a RHD vehicle.
CAMERA, A-PILLAR ARRANGEMENT, AND VEHICLE
(Camera, A-pillar arrangement having the camera and vehicle) Camera (3, 103, 203) for a vehicle (1), which camera is designed: to be mounted at least partially inside an A-pillar (7, 107, 207) of the vehicle (1), to record image data for an area in front of the vehicle (1), and to be arranged in the A-pillar (7, 107, 207) in such a way that a space (24, 124, 224) taken up by the camera (3, 103, 203) inside the A-pillar (7, 107, 207) has a smaller maximum dimension (A1, A3, A5) parallel to a line of sight (14, 114, 228) of the camera (3, 103, 203) than its maximum dimension (A2, A4, A6) parallel to a longitudinal direction (L) of the A-pillar (7, 107, 207).
MOUNTING STRUCTURE
A mounting structure (X), comprising: a cover (5) provided on an inboard side of a pillar (P) of a vehicle, and having an opening (15) facing inboard; an illuminating device (9) configured to illuminate interior of the vehicle via the opening; and an imaging device (11) configured to capture an image of the interior of the vehicle via the opening, wherein the illuminating device and imaging device are provided with respective working ends facing the interior of the vehicle which are positioned one above and inboard of another.
Glass fastening and sealing systems
A glass fastening system includes a glass portion, a support structure defining a recess, a first adhesive layer disposed on an exterior surface of the glass portion facing the recess in the support structure, a second adhesive layer disposed within the recess of the support structure, and a fastener having a first portion secured to the first adhesive layer and a second portion extending away from the first portion and into the second adhesive layer to secure the glass portion to the support structure.
Speaker disposition structure of vehicle
A speaker disposition structure of a vehicle comprises a left hinge pillar and a right hinge pillar both extending in a vehicle up-down direction; a speaker box fixed to a lower portion of one of the left and right hinge pillars, and the speaker box having a closed inner space; and a partition located on a vehicle width direction inner side of the speaker box. A port opening connects with the inner space of the speaker box and is located in a front face of the speaker box. A space portion is surrounded by the front face of the speaker box, the dash panel, the hinge pillar, and the partition. The space portion connects with an occupant space of the space portion. A length of the space portion, from the port opening in a front-rear direction of the vehicle, is greater than a maximum length of the port opening.
VEHICLE MOUNTED DISPLAY UNIT AND VEHICLE THEREWITH
The present disclosure refers to a vehicle mounted display unit comprising a display frame; a display attached to the display frame; an electronic control unit (ECU) attached to the display frame; and a display adaptor attached to the display frame and acting as an attachment component; and at least one wire harness characterized in that the vehicle mounted display unit comprises a display cover and a display housing, wherein the display cover and the at least one wiring harness have two geometric configurations, one for the vehicle mounted display unit to be position left from the driver or passenger and one to be position right from the driver or passenger.
Display position for cab with overhead door
Disclosed are front entry cabs, and power machines with front entry cabs, having a door that is moveable between opened and closed positions and a display oriented in the cab to provide information to the operator both while the door is in the opened and closed positions. In the opened position, the door is positioned within an operator compartment of the cab above the operator seat and below a top of the cab. The display is positioned to not interfere with the door, door linkages, or operator joystick control.
Driver state warning system and method of monitoring driver state
A driver status warning system includes a memory storing camera position data; an integrated controller configured to generate a motor driving signal corresponding to the camera position data; a camera assembly embedded in an A-pillar of a vehicle and including an electric motor configured to generate a rotational force according to the motor driving signal, a screw bar configured to be rotated by the rotational force, and a camera configured to be moved upward or downward on the A-pillar by the rotation of the screw bar assembly; and a facial recognition module configured to analyze an image of a driver's face captured by the camera to sense the driver's condition.
Speaker disposition structure of vehicle
A speaker disposition structure comprises a hinge pillar extending in a vehicle up-down direction; a side sill extending in a vehicle front-rear direction; a speaker box fixed to the hinge pillar; and a gap portion for arranging a vehicle component at an upper part of a vehicle-interior side of the side sill.
