A device can include a body including a sensor and an accelerometer. The sensor can detect contact with the body. The accelerometer can detect a movement of the body. The device can also include at least one processor. The at least one processor can determine an action corresponding to the movement of the body. The action can include at least one of a thermal effect, a production of light, or a transmission of power. The at least one processor can also cause the device to perform the action.
Vehicle surveillance system
The vehicle surveillance system is installed in a vehicle and includes a camera housing that is positioned at a topmost surface of the vehicle. The camera housing includes a plurality of cameras that are directed at differing angles with respect to one another. The plurality of cameras are directed away from the camera housing in order to provide a full 360 degrees of video footage around the vehicle. The camera housing is slideably engaged with respect to a second housing that is affixed to the vehicle. A rack-and-pinion gearing system enables the camera housing to extend and retract vertically with respect to the second housing. The plurality of cameras is wired to a video recording member that is located elsewhere with respect to said vehicle.
Vehicle entertainment system and method of mounting vehicle entertainment unit
A vehicle entertainment system includes a cradle disposed in a headrest of a vehicle and having a slot, and a vehicle entertainment unit including a display and a locking mechanism. Upon placing the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle, the locking mechanism is inserted into the slot to fixedly lock the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle. Upon fixedly locking the vehicle entertainment unit in the cradle, a space aligned with the locking mechanism is disposed between a first side of the cradle and a first side of the vehicle entertainment unit. The space is shaped and dimensioned to receive a removal tool that contacts the locking mechanism through the space to disengage the locking mechanism from the slot.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat is provided with: a seat cushion; and a seat back. The seat back includes: a seat pad; a reinforcing member that is formed by a linear or planer member and reinforces the seat pad; and an accommodating section provided in the seat pad and receives an installable component that is configured as a separate body that is separate from the seat back. The reinforcing member has an engaging portion that protrude into the accommodating section, the engaging portion being configured to be engageable with an engaged portion that is provided on the installable component. The vehicle seat is configured to allow the installable component to be installed in the accommodating section while positioning the installable component with respect to the accommodating section in a state where the engaging portion and the engaged portion are engaged with each other.
In-door accessory charger
An example apparatus includes a cavity defined by a vehicle door, with the cavity being configured to stow and charge an accessory device. The apparatus may also include an accessory cradle movable within the cavity and configured to retain the vehicle accessory. Examples of a method may include providing a cavity in an end portion of a vehicle door, with the cavity being configured to stow and charge an accessory device. The method may further include installing an accessory cradle within the cavity, with the accessory cradle being movable within the cavity and configured to retain the vehicle accessory.
VEHICLE SETTLEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed herein are a vehicle settlement system and method, and more particularly, a vehicle settlement system and method that utilize object recognition information as settlement authentication information. The vehicle settlement system according to an embodiment includes a vehicle control system, a financial settlement server, and a store system. Here, the vehicle control system includes an object recognition module that is provided to collect object information for settlement authentication, and a vehicle control system control unit that recognizes an object based on the object information collected by the object recognition module.
Vehicle body panel retrieval tool and storage compartment
An apparatus includes a mounting bracket configured to mount to an outer surface of a body panel of a vehicle, a latch mechanism coupled to the mounting bracket, and an elongate member detachable from the mounting bracket and insertable into the opening. The elongate member comprises a body and a handle comprising a rod having a diameter smaller than the opening to allow the elongate member to be inserted into and removed from the opening; a handle comprising a coupling mechanism configured to engage with the latch mechanism so that the elongate member can be secured to the mounting bracket such that, when secured, at least a portion of the body of the elongate member is positioned within an inside cavity of the body panel; and a detachable coupling mechanism configured to detachably engage with one or more tool ends.
Concealable and deployable dashboard camera
A deployable and concealable camera apparatus is provided. The present invention includes a housing a motor, an actuator and a camera. The housing is disposed beneath an automobile fixture, such as a dashboard or vehicle instrument panel. The actuator is driven by the motor. The motor and the actuator move the camera to a deployed state and a retracted state when activated. The deployed state includes the camera extending through an aperture formed in the automobile fixture and extending substantially beyond the automobile fixture. The retracted state includes the camera disposed substantially beneath the automobile fixture.
VEHICLE ENTERTAINMENT TABLE UNIT AND CRADLE
A vehicle entertainment system includes a tablet unit and a cradle. The tablet unit includes a display and a touch screen input device disposed on a front surface, a first electrical connection, a first mounting mechanism, and a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver is configured to receive media data from a wireless network and the touch screen input device is configured to receive input from a user. The cradle is disposed in a headrest in a vehicle and includes a second electrical connection and a second mounting mechanism. The tablet unit is electrically connected to the cradle via the first and second electrical connections, and is physically coupled to the cradle via the first and second mounting mechanisms upon mounting the tablet unit to the cradle.
