BRACKET ASSEMBLIES FOR DETACHABLY CONNECTING AUDIBLE VEHICLE ALERT SYSTEMS
This disclosure is directed to audible vehicle alert systems that include bracket assemblies for detachably mounting components of the audible vehicle alert systems to vehicles. Exemplary audible vehicle alert systems may include a first bracket, a second bracket detachably secured to the first bracket, and a speaker unit mounted to the second bracket. The second bracket may be disconnected from the first bracket during a servicing event for servicing the speaker unit or some other component of the audible vehicle alert system.
EXPANDABLE CARGO BOX ASSEMBLY FOR A PICKUP TRUCK
An expandable cargo box assembly for mounting on a side wall section of a cargo bed of a pickup truck includes a base member for attaching the expandable cargo box assembly to the side wall section of the cargo bed, the base member having the form of an outer wall plate. Opposite the outer wall plate is an inner wall plate, the inner wall plate being displaceable from a first position to a second position, the first position defining a collapsed state, and the second position defining a deployed state. The outer and inner wall plates have operably associated therebetween a folding floor assembly, and the outer wall plate supports a forward folding wall and a rearward folding wall. Upon expanding the expandable cargo box assembly to a deployed state, the folding floor assembly and the forward and rearward folding walls are arranged to define an enclosure for receiving cargo.
LIGHTWEIGHT STRUCTURAL MODULE ON THE ROOF OF A VEHICLE
A sensor pod module, that attaches to a vehicle, includes: a structural base, being adapted to a contour of a surface of the vehicle, including a first connector and a vehicle connector; a sensor housing including a second connector that form fits with the first connector; and a plurality of sensors disposed within the sensor housing. The structural base secures to the vehicle with the vehicle connector. The sensor housing interchangeably secures to the structural base by form fitting the second connector and first connector together.
Tailgate accessory mounting systems
A tailgate accessory mounting system includes a first track, a first anchoring bolt slidably received within a slot of the first track, and a mounting plate secured to the first track by the first anchoring bolt. The tailgate accessory mounting system may be secured to a tailgate of a vehicle, such as a pickup truck, for example.
Accessory Mounting System for Vehicles
The present disclosure describes an accessory mounting system for vehicles. The mounting system is reconfigurable between collapsed and expanded configurations, and includes first and second brackets. The first bracket is configured for releasable connection to a vehicle (e.g., via a utility track), and the second bracket is movably connected to the first bracket and configured to support an accessory, such as a speaker, a television, a monitor or other such display, and the like. The first bracket includes a rotatable locking mechanism that is engageable with the second bracket, as well as at least one fastener that is configured to releasably engage the vehicle (e.g., the utility track). The at least one fastener is positioned between the first and second brackets such that the at least one fastener is inaccessible when the mounting system is in the collapsed configuration.
Stowage container with breach detection and indication system
A stowage container including a barrier such as a door or access panel and a breach detector for monitoring and/or detecting a breach of the barrier. The breach detector includes an indicator assembly having a slot that can be positioned between, and defined by, a front panel and a back panel of the barrier, and an indicator within the slot. The indicator assembly further includes a retainer that maintains the indicator in a first state when the barrier is in a first position (e.g., closed or sealed) and which releases the indicator into a second state when the barrier moves from the first position to a second position (e.g., open or breached). Upon returning the barrier to the first position, the indicator remains in the second state until the indicator reset to the first state.
Holding system for an electronic device in a vehicle
The invention relates to a holding system for a telecommunication device (46) in a vehicle, comprising a receiving part (1) for fastening in a stationary manner and a holder (40) dial can be inserted into die receiving pan (1), on which holder the telecommunication device (46) can be detachably fastened. Said holding system is characterized in that the receiving part (1) has a receiving channel (10) having a slot-shaped entry opening (7), into which receiving channel an attachment (21), which is shaped complementary to the receiving channel (10) and is connected to the holder (40) in the mounted state, can be inserted in an insertion direction and in which receiving channel said attachment can be fastened in the inserted state.
SUPPORT RACK
A cargo and storage rack for increasing the carrying capacity of a vehicle having a spare tire mount on the exterior of the vehicle. Retaining features of a mounting boss engage the retainment features of the spare tire to the spare tire mount. The mounting boss is adapted to receive storage brackets above or below or both of above and below the mounting boss, to secure cargo securing features at desired distances of engagement from the boss. Rails of any bracket secured to the boss provide support for alternately translating and selectably locatable cargo supporting features, such that the rack can secure cargo without a bracket that provides its own securing features. Optionally, the rack can support cargo with any combination of selectably locatable cargo supporting features on the rails and a bracket, and the rack comprises methods of construction and customization that facilitate rapid reconstruction of the rack and removal from the vehicle.
VEHICLE
A vehicle may include a roof, a glass mounted on a rear end portion of the roof and having a black coating region on a portion of the glass adjacent to the rear end portion of the roof, a rear rail mounted on a lower portion of the rear end portion of the roof, and an antenna mounted on the rear rail to be positioned below the black coating region.
NON-DESTRUCTIVE KIT MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR DRIVERLESS INDUSTRIAL VEHICLES
A system comprising a sensor, a protective enclosure configured to enclose the sensor and a mounting pad configured to be attached to a predetermined surface of a predetermined vehicle, the mounting pad having a predetermined contact area as a function of a weight of the sensor and the protective enclosure. The sensor and the protective enclosure are attached to the mounting pad, and the mounting pad is attached to the predetermined surface of the vehicle using an adhesive layer that extends over the predetermined contact area that is selected to provide a maximum weight support that is correlated to a weight of the sensor and the protective enclosure.
