Mounting assembly for a pickup truck box
A vehicle includes a truck bed having a sidewall extending upward from a floor panel, and an anchor plate secured to an internal surface of the sidewall. The vehicle further includes a mounting assembly removably secured to the anchor plate. The mounting assembly includes a planar plate defining an array of holes, and an attachment member secured to the plate. The attachment member defines a T-mount for engaging the anchor plate and a handle defining a cavity.
Device and method for mounting a camera on a vehicle
The invention relates to a device/method for mounting a camera to a vehicle. The device comprises a mount (11), the mount having a tubular body. The mount comprises a first portion (12a) and a second portion (12b), the first portion having a first outer diameter and the second portion having a second outer diameter which is smaller than the first outer diameter; and a securing member (18b). The tubular body extends through an aperture in a panel (20) of a vehicle, the panel having an interior and an exterior surface. Accordingly, in use the first portion of the tubular body extends away from the exterior surface of the panel, and the second portion of the tubular body extends through the aperture of the panel and away from the interior surface of the panel. The first portion of the tubular body receives the securing member and the securing member extends through the first portion of the tubular body to engage the panel from the exterior surface side. Advantageously the mount is attached to the panel from the exterior side.
CARGO CARRIER SYSTEM
Described herein is a cargo carrier system comprising a cargo carrier and a mounting base configured to attach to a vehicle trailer hitch. The cargo carrier can have wheels and can removably attach to the mounting base. The cargo carrier can easily be removed from the mounting base and pivoted to the ground. The mounting base can be pivoted vertically when not in use.
Bracket for on-vehicle camera
A bracket for an on-vehicle camera includes: a camera fixing portion to which the on-vehicle camera is fixed; at least one vehicle-mount fixing portion provided integrally with the camera fixing portion and configured to be fixed to a vehicle body; and at least one weak portion arranged at a position at which the camera fixing portion is separable from the at least one vehicle-mount fixing portion by breakage of the at least one weak portion, the at least one weak portion being breakable more easily than another part of the bracket.
Transport Frame for Mounting a Gang Box onto a Vehicle
A transport frame for mounting a gang box onto a vehicle has a box-receiving basket, an intermediary support frame, and a vehicle coupling mechanism. The box-receiving basket is a cradle that is positioned around a base of the gang box. The intermediary support frame is a rigid structure that transfers the weight of the gang box from the box-receiving basket into the vehicle coupling mechanism. The vehicle coupling mechanism then transfers the weight of the gang box into the vehicle's trailer hitch. The box-receiving basket has a perimeter frame and multiple support beams. The support beams are connected across the perimeter frame to form a cage that conforms to the shape of the gang box. The intermediary frame is connected in between the box-receiving basket and the vehicle coupling mechanism so that the box-receiving basket is retained in a desired orientation relative to the vehicle.
Fixing device for panel member
A panel case of a display panel is provided with a first fixing piece extending rearward (in the Y2 direction), and a female threaded hole is formed in the first fixing piece. A support bracket is provided with a second fixing piece extending rearward (in the Y2 direction), and an attachment hole is formed in the second fixing piece. The first fixing piece has a first elongate hole portion opened between the female threaded hole and a first base portion, and the second fixing piece has a second elongate hole portion formed between the attachment hole and a second base portion. Therefore, the fastening force from a fixing screw is less likely to be transmitted to the first base portion of the first fixing piece, and strain of the display panel can be regulated.
Stowage container with breach detection and indication system
A stowage container including a barrier such as a door or access panel and a breach detector for monitoring and/or detecting a breach of the barrier. The breach detector includes an indicator assembly having a slot that can be positioned between, and defined by, a front panel and a back panel of the barrier, and an indicator within the slot. The indicator assembly further includes a retainer that maintains the indicator in a first state when the barrier is in a first position (e.g., closed or sealed) and which releases the indicator into a second state when the barrier moves from the first position to a second position (e.g., open or breached). Upon returning the barrier to the first position, the indicator remains in the second state until the indicator reset to the first state.
UNIVERSAL MOUNTING TABS AND KITS FOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS
Mounting tabs, kits and methods of using the mounting tabs where none previously existed or for replacing/repairing broken mounting tabs are disclosed. For example, the mounting tabs, kits and methods disclosed herein are well suited for the repair of high value components, including automotive components.
Terminal mounting support
A terminal mounting support is provided. The terminal mounting support is adapted to fix a terminal onto a fixing member, the terminal mounting support includes: a first support and a second support oppositely arranged, wherein the first support is fixedly connected to the second support, and at least one of the first support and the second support is provided with a connection structure for being fixedly connected to the terminal; and a first buffer material layer arranged between the first support and the second support, wherein an accommodation space for accommodating at least a portion of the fixing member is formed in the first buffer material layer.
VIBRATION SENSOR PACKAGE
A sensor package for sensing vibration is described. The sensor package includes a carrier and a piezoelectric module coupled to the carrier. A wireless vibration sensor is further coupled to the carrier at a distance from the piezoelectric module. The sensor package further includes one or more conductive paths coupling the piezoelectric module to the wireless vibration sensor. The sensor package may be disposed on a bearing housing of a rail vehicle. The sensor package may also be utilized in marine, land and aviation applications.
